Took my first bite and was transported back to childhood, sitting at my abuela's mesa the surprise was pleasant and tugged at my heart strings. The plate comes with cilantro rice with a green color which was weird to me but very tasty. The beans were refried and had a great taste as well. We didn't get any tortillas so not sure that they serve them here. As the manager came around, I had to let him know that I was so pleasantly impressed at the transportation back to childhood. The cornmeal pancake combined with the tomato jam and the spiced up hollandaise sauce over the slow cooked tender pork truly elevated the flavor on this Mexican spin on eggs benedict. Our server was attentive and helpful with re compensations as it was our first visit to the restaurant. The dining area is large with ample seating and beautiful elevated Mexican decor. I'm so glad I finally got off of 35 to try this restaurant after years of driving by.

Giving two stars because the manager was very understanding and made us an entire third large fajita plate and when that one came out, it had significantly more meat on it, worthy of the $52 price tag! This place was my pregnancy craving four years ago and it has gone so downhill. The chipotle sauce, which really was the craving is now completely tasteless and has been for the past few visits. Ordering takeout from here is even worse. With 1000 Mexican restaurants in the area they could do so much better. Unfortunately, this restaurant has lost our business.

My other friend had the seafood, a shrimp dish to be exact, and she had an upset stomach a couple of hours later that lasted until the evening. She hadn't eaten anything else. So we're not 100% sure it's because of this place, but seafood is a common culprit so it's very possible that it was. I don't think she finished her plate, if my memory serves me well. My husband had the chimichanga. I think it was fine. But it was dunked in beef tallow, which he had been warned about.
