Palms has consistently excellent food. The pork chop plate with beans & rice is a favorite. You get two juicy & flavorful chops, beans & rice & some guac, *chefs kiss*. But you really can't go wrong ordering anything from tacos to enchiladas. But do yourself a favor & get a large order of salsa & chips! Yummy!!! I've only used the drive-thru, but the employees at the window are always so friendly & sweet. Now since they're so popular, the drive-thru can take a while to get through. So I suggest while you are in line, use the "call-ahead" number that's listed on the side of the building so your order will be ready when you pull up read more

When we first walked in, everything seemed great. There was plenty of open seating, we were greeted quickly, and our order was taken promptly. Our drinks arrived fast, too. Once our food arrived, though, things took a turn. My oldest daughter ordered bean and cheese tacos, but unfortunately, there was a hair in her food. We brought it to the staff's attention, and they immediately replaced her order and offered to take it off the bill, which we appreciated. My mom and I were both disappointed with the potatoes. They were stale, dry, and tasted like they had been reheated in the microwave. My pancakes, on the other hand, were perfect! My mom enjoyed her plate overall, aside from the potatoes. My youngest daughter ordered the chicken tender plate. She liked the tenders, but they looked a little strange. They were pale and appeared to be missing seasoning. Overall, the service was quick and the staff handled the issue with the tacos well, but the food quality was inconsistent this time around. Hopefully, our next visit will be better! read more

Food ok. I got burrito with chicken fajitas . Chicken was little salty. Service ok Too. Ambiance well was good. read more

Their parking lot was absolutely full Sunday morning, but inside a fourth of the tables were available. So don't be intimidated by a crowded parking lot. The totopos (tortilla chips) were among the best in Seguin, and the red sauce was good too. The tortillas are made on site, but that didn't give them the boost I had hoped for. We had chalupas with beef that were good, and the enchilada was too. The rice was on the mushy side. Service was over the top, with three servers alternating in asking if we needed something or checking on the quality. We shall refturn. read more

We took a drive out to Seguin for the day and decided to try this Mexican diner. They have a very clean and inviting interior and the staff was polite and friendly. The food was good and definitely had more of a Tex-Mex flair than traditional Mexican food. I tried the Las 3 Hermanas Enchiladas. I was a little disappointed that the chile con queso over the enchiladas was a little bland, like a basic nacho sauce. It really didn't help set it apart or elevate the enchiladas. The side of flour tortillas were awesome as you can tell they make them fresh. read more

Food is really good and service is great. But $12 for 3 tacos is Crazy!!! Really like the people there.

the lady was not paying attention at all also messed up in my taco. I always get pot/bac/bn/Chz. they never get right. It's good food but just wish they would pay attention and get order right. 4$ for 4 pieces of meat in a carne guisada is just wrong :( read more

The Palms - Flautas and enchiladas - Mexican Near Me - Seguin, Texas

Fast food, lacks true taste and quality. The salsas and refried beans both were made with too much water [appears to be very watered down to accommodate volume]. The service was great. The tables and clean-up was messy. With all due respect, I will not come back. read more

Only had for breakfast but it was fantastic The pancake plate and Palmas plate were very good. Tortillas seem homemade and barbacoa was super tasty Service was top notch read more

Excellent food, and service was fairly fast (Drive thru). The taste of the food was good, but not as good as we thought it would be. Unless the food was out of this world, I would give this 5 stars. 4 stars solely based on taste, and speed of service, as we did not eat at restaurant. read more

I ordered online. They charged more than i agreed to pay online which would Not have been a problem if the food was good. They used cheap ingredients the food was worse than TVDinner food. I will never order from here again, and if you want good food you wont either. Its just around the corner from me and i will drive across town next time I want Mexican food. This is trash. I'd drive to New Braunfels before id order from here again. read more

Great food and service. I had the chilaquiles breakfast plate that came with a side of refried beans and potatoes as well as two flour tortillas. I would definitely recommend read more

Was rushed looking at reviews and ignored the one that said watery salsa and runny refried beans. Staff friendly and plenty of customers. However, I've had better. read more

Great food and flavor every time we go. The portions are good size for the price. The only complaint was my husbands food was a little cool, they offered to fix it but we declined as it still tastes good. read more

Really good Barbacoa! Great homemade flour tortillas, my wife likes the crunchy tacos and the quesadillas are very good. Reasonable prices and sweet tea like Bill Miller used to make! Enchiladas are ok. read more

Went to this new restaurant last Saturday for a late breakfast and was so happy to find out that breakfast is served all day, every day! I had the huevos rancheros and it was delicious. My husband had the pork chop breakfast and loved it. We enjoyed the food and service so much that we went back for lunch on Sunday. This is my new favorite place for tortilla soup! And my husband liked the menudo. If you're in the area, don't pass this place up!! Wonderful, authentic food for an unbeatable price and the waitstaff is so friendly. read more

Passing through Seguin we tried this restaurant. What a pleasant surprise! Wonderful waitress and very accommodating. Large ice teas and large portions of food. Now we all have had tacos before, but the beef taco I had was so good. The shell had a great flavor and freshly made. Give this place a try for your next stop! read more

100 percent Tex-Mex and if you're not used to that you will not like it. The enchiladas have melted Velveeta and the sauce was similar to that of a Frozen TV dinner. I'm from Colorado and so that's not typical, it's not even typical in North Carolina but it's the only thing I found so far in texas. The wait was long. If you're from Texas it'll probably be your thing. Homemade tortillas are decent. read more

Plenty of servers, standing around talking and so after 10mins of no serves, we left.

I had the beef enchiladas and a crispy beef taco. Everything was good but all of my food except the taco was luke warm. I didn't send it back since it was at least warm. Good meal that could have been great. read more

Enjoyed the atmosphere and food!!! A must try for sure. Just so happened to be passing through to admire the bluebonnets! read more

Called in an order to-go, and picked up thru the drive thru. No long wait and service was great. All the tacos we had to great, bean and cheese, potato egg bacon cheese, barbacoa, but the menudo could have used some better flavor, it wasn't bad just missed flavor. will have to eat in sometime to further explore thier other menu items, besides breakfast. read more

I had the Mr. David 1/2 pound Angus burger with fries. The burger was huge and juicy. I would recommend splitting it with someone. It's enough for two people. The fries were very crispy. Great meal. read more

Good breakfast. The breakfast plates are a good option with lots of food. I got the Palms breakfast which had 2 eggs, beans , potatoes, carne guisada, pancakes, and tortillas. I cleaned my plate it was so tasty and left stuffed. The beans had a good flavor, the potatoes were fresh cut and fried and the gravy for the carne guisada was just right. read more

Great food. We had excellent service and the iced tea was spectacular! Will visit again next time I'm in Seguin.

I had the chicken fajitas and it was very good. Flavorful and not dry or over cooked. My husband had beef enchiladas and he loved them. He is very particular and rarely likes beef enchiladas from most any restaurants. We will definitely go back. read more

My wife and I ate brunch here for the first time. She ordered the "Super Taco " with beef fajitas and I ordered the "Chorizos con Huevos" plate. The super taco was HUGE (my wife had to cut it in half to take home) and delicious!!! My chorizo con huevos plate was absolutely delicious!! I have eaten Mexican food my entire life (to include In Mexico) and although I love the taste of chorizo, it usually gets very greasy, which I end up regretting giving in to temptation. I am happy to say this was the best chorizo and egg plate I have ever had and it was NOT greasy at all!! We just found a new best restaurant!! Highly recommend. read more

Came in for breakfast with the family after church. We were a party of 20 and reservations had been made. The tables were set up & ready for us. The service was stellar and the food was brought out in a couple of waves. My Palms breakfast was delicious and the pancakes were very large. The hot sauce was a bit on the bland side for my personal taste but that's nothing to be concerned with. My wife, me and our two boys were out the door for under$35 and that's with a tip! I highly recommend this place. read more

Food was very good and affordable for the quantity. Reccomend the tamale plate and chimichanga. Staff are friendly.

Average Tex-mex food. The flour tortillas are homemade but they are bland for my taste. The portion size is decent and prices are a little on the high side for me. I had bacon and egg tacos which taste normal nothing out of this world. Their bean and cheese taco was good too but it seem they use fake cheddar cheese. I was not impressed just average food. read more

We stopped in for dinner because my wife loves their breakfast tacos - they are always buying them in the morning at her office. Dinner was good, and menu selections were much the same as the many other restaurants in our area. I ordered a standard - enchilada, taco, tamale, etc. plate - the standout was the tamale and I could probably make a meal from just those. My wife ordered the picadillo plate, and it is probably THE best picadillo we've had since moving to the area four years ago. I'd recommend it just for that alone! read more

Never had been here before. The husband and I decided to stop by. I'm so glad we did. Enchiladas were great. Salsa was fantastic, queso was good. There is a reason why this place is always so busy. read more

Nice, attentive staff who checked on us a lot and kept the coffee cups full. The breakfast was good but since we're low carbing we couldn't try the potatoes or the tortillas. We had an omelet and egg machacado. The salsa was good and had a fresh flavor. Don't let the hole in the wall first impression scare you. read more

I loved the palms-- hole in the wall feeling-- but the food is spot on-- the carne guisada is tad salty but check out the photos I posted! Lots of menu options. If you're passing through or a curious local -- stop on in. read more
