I had a number of questions and contacted the owner, Chris, who literally spent close to an hour on the phone with me describing the process and when my roof tiles would be walkable afterward. He was patient and knowledgeable. We had an emergency situation with leaking during the winter and had to have roof washing done back to back with skylight installation, so we were unable to use No Moss. Great company to deal with from Chelle to Vince to Santiago and Uriah. Vince came out and explained everything they would do in great detail and answered all my questions. Even after the work was done I had additional questions and Vince answered them timely. Santiago and Uriah were awesome! They did a fantastic job and what I liked best was after they were done they walked me around to make sure I was satisfied with the job and to make sure they cleaned up to my satisfaction (I wish other contractors would do that). After paying for this other guy to clean my gutters and down spouts, within 13 days it rained again, and I found out that the other guy I paid had in fact not cleared those down spouts/ gutters. I guess he thought we were going into summer and I would never know what a crummy job he had done! Yet there I was with my gutters full to the brim with water and pulling away from the house! Still clogs in my down spouts ! My neighbor had used No Moss Softwash and she was happy with them so I called No Moss Soft Wash. These guys took my job very seriously, came out right away--- I saw them go up to the 2nd story with a ladder that I don't think any previous guy had used to get to the 2nd story. I was happy to see they used a safety harness going up. Afterward they showed me videos of all the gutters/downspouts running clear. This was really the best service I have had in a long time. I had the work done about a year ago where they did a great job but that is not why I am commenting here. A couple months back I got a flat tire on my travel trailer and pulled into the parking lot of a church on Bradshaw. My tire had shedded and wapped around my axel and damaged my break wiring in the process. This happened around 8 pm. I jacked up the trailer but could not get the tire off the axel. That is when the owner of No Moss showed up in his truck and asked if I needed help. He volunteers at the church and spent over an hour with me getting the tire off the axel and going into the church to get tools to repair the break wiring that was damaged. He was fantastic helping a total stranger to get back on the road to go camping with my family the next day. Without his help I dont know what I would have done. Today No Moss Softwash removed the moss from our roof. Santiago called before showing up and was so polite! They came on time and did an absolutely outstanding job. Santiago and his teammate Elias were so kind, respectful and everything was sparking clean before they left. They cleared away all the moss that fell off the roof and left the outside area pristine. My CalSlate roof was full of weeds, front to back. I contracted with NO MOSS hoping they could clean off the weeds. The two-man crew used a small hoe and scraped between each one of the tiles. It was an awful job, but they did it. My roof is returned to its original beauty. A neighbor's vehicle was caught in the debris removal, She wasn't home and I didn't know the debris was on her car. The NO MOSS owner visited my home and saw what happened. This 'one-off' event will be included in staff training: check with the neighbor but if not home, check with the homeowner who hired the work. There's a 5-year guarantee that the plants will not return to my roof. I'll be checking on plant growth on my roof and am assured NO MOSS will re-treat my roof to keep the weeds away. I posted a review earlier today which implied that their service was less than 5 star. I did not mean to suggest this. So far as coming out and providing an estimate, they were prompt, efficient, and very courteous. They have 5 stars for that. I should also mention that the ~$5000 quote is for a 4200 sq. ft house which they have told me has an appoximate 6,000 sq ft roof including the slopes. It's not something we can afford but maybe others can. read more

After reading about the soft wash moss removal process and excellent reviews, I contracted with No Moss to remove patches of moss that had accumulated on my composite roof. After contacting No Moss, I received a reasonable quote within three days and the work was completed shortly thereafter. The technicians (Santiago and Meshach) that performed the work were easy to work with. They were very knowledgeable, courteous and answered all my questions. I am very happy with their work. We built our home 25 years ago. When we built it we wanted to have the front facade covered with ivy. Well, 25 years later the ivy was out of control. So we hired someone to get rid of the ivy, but that left a lot of residue on our exterior walls. We had a lot of moss growing on the north side of our roof, so we called No Moss and they also clean exterior house walls. They did a great job. Our home looks 100% better. The only comment I would make is that they give you a slip of paper when they're done telling you the names of everyone who worked on your job, and ask you to name them specifically in your review. They also tell you what you should highlight in your review, eg. quality of work, etc. We're Boomers. We don't let the younger generations write our reviews for us. We had a top-notch experience beginning to end. Our first contact was Chelle, at the office, and she was very accommodating in scheduling the estimator and the actual project. The estimator, Jordan, was very pleasant and explained the process in its entirety. The crew - Mekhi and Giancarlo - arrived on time, introduced themselves properly, and went over all the details - the work to be done, the price, etc. Their truck was impressive - it has various pieces of equipment mounted on it, looks very professional. We had an unusual day of rain in the late summer/early fall this year. I had a waterfall spring on the back patio and realized one of the gutters was clogged. I'm a typical DIHerself person when it comes to home repairs, so I started to clean the debris from the gutters. I noticed some unusual moss growth on the northside of the roof, and that's when I knew I needed to hire a professional. I first did some research on what causes the moss and how it can be treated, and also sought the advice of friends. A friend's parents used an unlicensed handyman that sprayed chlorine on the roof and it destroyed some of the paint on the side of the house. I started contacting contractors listed on Yelp, and shockingly there were more willing to pressure wash the roof with water than to treat the issue. One even told me he could try a treatment he saw at Home Depot. Sorry, I don't want my house to end up like my friend's parents with paint peeling. I wanted someone who knew what they're doing. No Moss was the ONLY company that exceeded my expectations. The owner, Chris, was very responsive and able to meet with me within one business day. He inspected my roof, solar panels and gutters. I called and they sent out one of their guys to see if he could fix the problem but he couldn't. They then sent out an electrician who, after a bit, figured out the issue--a GFI outlet hidden behind a cabinet was tripped--and got it all up and running. The young men that came to do my house were courteous and professional, however, they left my gate wide open after completing the job. I had informed them that I would be cleaning my baby pool, but I wish they had covered the pool regardless. The debris from their work went into the pool and made the job of cleaning my baby pool harder. I notified the owner through e-mail but didn't hear back from him. The owner was rude, didn't listen to what we were asking for, and gave us a 10 minute sales pitch before even listening to what we were asking for. The owner Christopher is very detail orientated, he took videos with instructions on my requests while inspecting the house for an estimate. He arrived at the agreed upon time and did an excellent job. After the power washing he did a close inspection making sure all areas were completed to his satisfaction.
