Update: The company did reach out and we were able to get them out to respray the roof. I commend the company for making it right and standing by their warranty. read more

No Moss SoftWash - Gutter Services Near Me - Elk Grove, California

I cannot recommend No Moss enough. Our home was long overdue for the roof to be cleared off, especially living next to a greenbelt. It looks incredible. They made sure the gutters and drains were clear as well, multiple times they sprayed down the house, and cleaned up all debris as they worked. We paid for the extra pressure wash and let me tell you, our outside front, back, and sides of the house and all concrete areas (landing, driveway, walk ways, porch, etc.) look pristine. I highly suggested adding it on. Once everything dried, there is no chemical or mold/must smell. Everything is truly, wonderfully clean. It's easy to tell from the initial use of a drone to inspect the roof, the team arriving early, the quick communication, and the outcome exceeding our expectations, this company and team value the quality of their work. We wish we had done this sooner. Huge thank you to the crew who came out! We love the results. It was worth every penny. read more

These guys washed my mossy roof, my concrete driveway and walkways, my dirty house, and my arizona flagstone. They did a great job with everything. My flagstone was especially hard to clean, but they kept at it until it looked like it did when I installed it 10 years ago. Hard working and conscientious guys. I would definitely hire again. read more

*This review is solely based on customer service and knowledge, not the actual work No Moss has exceptional customer service. We had Jordan come out and spend 45 minutes reviewing the property, the process and how it is different from pressure washing. I had a number of questions and contacted the owner, Chris, who literally spent close to an hour on the phone with me describing the process and when my roof tiles would be walkable afterward. He was patient and knowledgeable. We had an emergency situation with leaking during the winter and had to have roof washing done back to back with skylight installation, so we were unable to use No Moss. Still, I was so impressed with them I wanted to post a positive review. read more

My composition roof shingles had quite the moss buildup last year, and a roofer recommended waiting until it dried out before trying to clean it. Trying to find someone to perform the work was challenging. Luckily, I found No Moss, Inc. on Yelp! I was able to get an estimate on a Friday, and the service on the following Monday. Their roof cleaning service comes with a five (5) year warranty, not common in this type of business. Since painting the house is scheduled for this year, I added a whole-house exterior wash as well. The three-person crew arrived on time, got right to it, moving some things out of the way, and proceeding with the work. They were done by mid-afternoon. The drone photos of the finished work looked great! So glad I went with this company. Best thing for my shingles: no pressure wash used that could destroy the shingles. read more

Vince was very knowledgeable and trustworthy. Will use this business for low PSI power washing.

They have a friendly hardworking staff that did a great job with our moss removal. Thank you.

Great company to deal with from Chelle to Vince to Santiago and Uriah. Vince came out and explained everything they would do in great detail and answered all my questions. Even after the work was done I had additional questions and Vince answered them timely. Santiago and Uriah were awesome! They did a fantastic job and what I liked best was after they were done they walked me around to make sure I was satisfied with the job and to make sure they cleaned up to my satisfaction (I wish other contractors would do that). The only negative is it is kind of pricy (but what isn't now days), but do not let that deter you from using them. I highly recommend No Moss! read more

I need to have a certified roof cleaning. No Moss was the answer! Meshach, Samuel and Uriah were excellent. They were professional, efficient and thorough. Provided picture and certification for the service they provided. They did the job exactly as the Sales Rep. Joey described. I highly recommend No Moss for roof and gutter cleaning. Sincerely, Judy B. Five star rating! read more

Excellent job from start to finish. Santiago and Uriah paid attention to every detail from the cleaning to the final application. They were able to answer all my questions and did the job as it was described by the sales rep. They cleaned the gutters and left the job site without any debris. We have a tile roof and highly recommend their SoftWash system for a safe cleaning. read more

Chris and his crew are outstanding. No Moss' customer service, specially Chris himself, is the best I have experienced in many years as homeowner. They washed our home's tile roof (on one side was full of moss), building's stucco exterior, long driveway, backyard, patio covers, and yesterday the gazebo's cover. The whole exterior looked like new after they were done. Thank you so much Chris and number one crew. Brian Saleh El Dorado Hills read more

After paying for this other guy to clean my gutters and down spouts, within 13 days it rained again, and I found out that the other guy I paid had in fact not cleared those down spouts/ gutters. I guess he thought we were going into summer and I would never know what a crummy job he had done! Yet there I was with my gutters full to the brim with water and pulling away from the house! Still clogs in my down spouts ! My neighbor had used No Moss Softwash and she was happy with them so I called No Moss Soft Wash. These guys took my job very seriously, came out right away--- I saw them go up to the 2nd story with a ladder that I don't think any previous guy had used to get to the 2nd story. I was happy to see they used a safety harness going up. Afterward they showed me videos of all the gutters/downspouts running clear. This was really the best service I have had in a long time. This is a company I trust, all the guys I met on the team ( Vince, Chris, Santiago, Meshach, Samuel, Elias) hard working nice guys. I will be keeping this company's number with no hesitation to call them back in the future!!! Yes they are a 5 star company. read more

I had the work done about a year ago where they did a great job but that is not why I am commenting here. A couple months back I got a flat tire on my travel trailer and pulled into the parking lot of a church on Bradshaw. My tire had shedded and wapped around my axel and damaged my break wiring in the process. This happened around 8 pm. I jacked up the trailer but could not get the tire off the axel. That is when the owner of No Moss showed up in his truck and asked if I needed help. He volunteers at the church and spent over an hour with me getting the tire off the axel and going into the church to get tools to repair the break wiring that was damaged. He was fantastic helping a total stranger to get back on the road to go camping with my family the next day. Without his help I dont know what I would have done. I am sorry I don't remeber his name but do know he is the owner of No Moss. Please do business with this reputable fantastic person who helped a total stranger out. Thanks. read more

Today No Moss Softwash removed the moss from our roof. Santiago called before showing up and was so polite! They came on time and did an absolutely outstanding job. Santiago and his teammate Elias were so kind, respectful and everything was sparking clean before they left. They cleared away all the moss that fell off the roof and left the outside area pristine. This company doesn't do a hard sell and their price was competitive and very fair. (I interviewed six companies before choosing No Moss.). I highly recommend this company for the excellent work and the two fabulous employees Santiago and Elias. read more

Hearing from our homeowner's insurance provider that we were being dropped due to having mold on our roof promised to make for a miserable experience. No Moss Softwash made it much less so. Everyone involved, from the sales rep/assessor (forgot his name) to the technicians Meshach and Samuel, were professional, well-spoken, and personable. The job was done quickly and efficiently. read more

Great job. Great people. I highly recommend this company. The came and did the job. I'd go to 8 stars but cant.

My CalSlate roof was full of weeds, front to back. I contracted with NO MOSS hoping they could clean off the weeds. The two-man crew used a small hoe and scraped between each one of the tiles. It was an awful job, but they did it. My roof is returned to its original beauty. A neighbor's vehicle was caught in the debris removal, She wasn't home and I didn't know the debris was on her car. The NO MOSS owner visited my home and saw what happened. This 'one-off' event will be included in staff training: check with the neighbor but if not home, check with the homeowner who hired the work. There's a 5-year guarantee that the plants will not return to my roof. I'll be checking on plant growth on my roof and am assured NO MOSS will re-treat my roof to keep the weeds away. Thank you NO MOSS! and thank you Santiago and Giancarlo. - read more

Very professional team from making the first call through to the estimating process. Vince and Santi were the team on site and they were very careful about my property overall, landscaping, etc., cleaning up and putting everything back. I had the moss-covered roof cleaned and treated, the entire exterior, a two-story house, patio cover, and driveway cleaned. It looks great! I see the other reviewer's comment about getting through on the phones. They're pretty busy so I just called back if I didn't hear back from them in my timeframe. read more

No Moss did an excellent job cleaning my roof and house exterior. Rather than using harmful pressure washers, No Moss used a cleaning method called SoftWash to clean and sanitize my roof and siding. I was also given a 5 year moss free warranty on the roof! The technicians that came out to my house were very professional and careful. The office staff were very polite and efficient. I would recommend No Moss to anyone looking to get their roof and home exterior cleaned correctly. read more

I posted a review earlier today which implied that their service was less than 5 star. I did not mean to suggest this. So far as coming out and providing an estimate, they were prompt, efficient, and very courteous. They have 5 stars for that. I should also mention that the ~$5000 quote is for a 4200 sq. ft house which they have told me has an appoximate 6,000 sq ft roof including the slopes. It's not something we can afford but maybe others can. read more

This is a very professional company with good crews. Cleaning seems easy but actually might not, it is easy to deal with them always with good attitude and they are willing to come back twice to complete the extra requests. I am glad to have Vince whom is very nice and easy to work with read more

My roof has not been cleaned ever and the moss buildup was ugly. I didn't think it could be cleaned. Well, after removal of a garbage can full of moss and the soft wash, my roof looks new again! Jonathan and TJ went above and beyond. They showed up on time, scrubbed the heavy yellow lichen off, washed everything and cleaned up after themselves. Such professionals! Scheduling was easy, they sent me a link to pick dates, billing was easy and the people....amazing! Family owned business and you can see the pride in their work. read more

After reading about the soft wash moss removal process and excellent reviews, I contracted with No Moss to remove patches of moss that had accumulated on my composite roof. After contacting No Moss, I received a reasonable quote within three days and the work was completed shortly thereafter. The technicians (Santiago and Meshach) that performed the work were easy to work with. They were very knowledgeable, courteous and answered all my questions. I am very happy with their work. The complete job took approximately 3 hours. They cleaned up the area surrounding the house after the job was completed. This included washing down walls and windows. I would definitely recommend Soft Wash to friends and neighbors. read more

Great and timely service. I would highly recommend this business to anyone who needs mobile services.

Wow! I am so impressed with how Chris, Vince and their team at No Moss Softwash handled the extremely stressful situation we had with receiving a Non-Renewal letter on our Homeowner's Insurance. The letter stated we had moss/mold/mildew on our roof, and we were going to lose our insurance. I contacted NoMoss Softwash, and they got us in for an appointment much faster than expected. They asked when it had to be done by, and got right out to assess the situation. Vince explained the details of what issues our roof faced, and possible repercussions if it wasn't taken care of. They offer a 5 year warranty as well as have a very responsive, professional and polite customer service style, which is very appreciated. We are so pleased with how good our roof looks, and it feels good to know we can call if anything comes up and they will go to lengths to make sure it's taken care of to our 100% satisfaction. I called and spoke with other companies, and not one of them were as patient and thorough with their explanation of the process and why cleaning the roof is so important. This keeps your roof healthy and strong, so it can prevent further issues later on. I recommend having your roof soft washed even if you don't have any insurance issues. Other companies may 'power wash', but using the wrong amount of pressure can do more damage to your roof. Do yourself a favor and give No Moss Softwash a call and have it done correctly and safely the 1st time. Thanks Chris, Vince and team! Our Insurance policy has been RENEWED and it sure is a load off our shoulders and our minds! We built our home 25 years ago. When we built it we wanted to have the front facade covered with ivy. Well, 25 years later the ivy was out of control. So we hired someone to get rid of the ivy, but that left a lot of residue on our exterior walls. We had a lot of moss growing on the north side of our roof, so we called No Moss and they also clean exterior house walls. They did a great job. Our home looks 100% better. The only comment I would make is that they give you a slip of paper when they're done telling you the names of everyone who worked on your job, and ask you to name them specifically in your review. They also tell you what you should highlight in your review, eg. quality of work, etc. We're Boomers. We don't let the younger generations write our reviews for us. These guys did a great job and we recommend them highly. That's the best we can do. read more

Knowledgeable, dependable, thorough. There aren't enough good words to describe the service I received from No Moss. You simply won't get this level of quality and service elsewhere. Our house needed a good cleansing. The wife and I weren't sure how to go about getting it done or how much needed to be done. We had received several quotes from other professionals, but after an in-person consultation from No Moss I was instantly sold at how knowledgeable they were and their professionalism. These guys REALLY know how to get the job done! The work they did put a smile on our faces. I'm simply astonished by their expertise and the results they delivered. Protect your investment and go with No Moss. You won't find another company that can do the job as well as them. read more

These folks did a great job! It looked like my house had never had its roof cleaned of moss in 20+ years. Chris came out and gave me a menu of pricing options, so I could pick what fit my budget and needs best. First called No Moss 2 weeks ago to get a quote. They requested pictures which I texted them immediately. I didn't receive a response after a few days so I texted again. No response, so I called again a few days later and someone just answered and hung up. I called yet again a few days later and spoke to the receptionist who apologized and said she would talk to the owner and get back to me. 2 weeks later, still no response. The receptionist was nice and polite but unfortunately I just can't seem to get a response from anyone who actually does the work/pricing. read more

I had them get rid of all the moss on my roof. Cleaned the patio and back yard. They even fixed a tile that was broke cleaned my gutters and sprayed my plants with food at no extra charge. We had an unusual day of rain in the late summer/early fall this year. I had a waterfall spring on the back patio and realized one of the gutters was clogged. I'm a typical DIHerself person when it comes to home repairs, so I started to clean the debris from the gutters. I noticed some unusual moss growth on the northside of the roof, and that's when I knew I needed to hire a professional. I first did some research on what causes the moss and how it can be treated, and also sought the advice of friends. A friend's parents used an unlicensed handyman that sprayed chlorine on the roof and it destroyed some of the paint on the side of the house. I started contacting contractors listed on Yelp, and shockingly there were more willing to pressure wash the roof with water than to treat the issue. One even told me he could try a treatment he saw at Home Depot. Sorry, I don't want my house to end up like my friend's parents with paint peeling. I wanted someone who knew what they're doing. No Moss was the ONLY company that exceeded my expectations. The owner, Chris, was very responsive and able to meet with me within one business day. He inspected my roof, solar panels and gutters. He took photos and showed me the areas that needed treatment. There were a few cracked tiles that he said they could also take care of. Chris was knowledgeable in what causes the moss, how they could remove and treat it, and their treatment plan also included a preventative from the moss returning right away. I appreciated their 5 year warranty as well. I didn't need to take a day off of work when they came to do the job, and it was completed in less than a day. I came home to the cleanest roof and solar panels in the neighborhood! I'm thankful they were able to take care of a project I could not have completed myself, and at an affordable cost. I highly recommend No Moss for your roof, solar panel and gutter needs. read more

We had a top-notch experience beginning to end. Our first contact was Chelle, at the office, and she was very accommodating in scheduling the estimator and the actual project. The estimator, Jordan, was very pleasant and explained the process in its entirety. The crew - Mekhi and Giancarlo - arrived on time, introduced themselves properly, and went over all the details - the work to be done, the price, etc. Their truck was impressive - it has various pieces of equipment mounted on it, looks very professional. Mekhi and Giancarlo worked tirelessly from about 9 in the morning until 5PM, and spared no effort in cleaning up before they left. They communicated very eloquently - as if they owned the business. They even reminded me of the 5 year warranty and encouraged me to call them again for a checkup before the period ends. I was very impressed with these gentlemen. Overall - extremely professional! read more

No Moss did a great job on our roof spray, gutter cleaning, and gutter guard installation, and I highly recommend them. Scheduling the consultation and estimate was really easy. The inspector was very thorough and took a fair amount of time with me to make sure I understood everything and to show me why he was recommending what he was recommending. After that, it was really easy to schedule the spray and gutter work. The day of the job, Jordan and Jonathan worked their tails off all day. They basically worked nonstop for around 6 hours to get everything done in one day. They were also very professional and personable. After the job was done, the company sent me extensive before and after photos so I could see all the work that was done. I think they did an amazing job. read more

Good experience. Everyone involved was polite, professional and competent. Job went fine but we had a minor issue with some electrical outlets and one light when they left. I called and they sent out one of their guys to see if he could fix the problem but he couldn't.
