My roof was filled with moss. I looked through Yelp to see which roofing companies offer moss removal service and stumbled on Triple R Roofing. I called to get an estimate and was assisted by Alejandro. He scheduled a date that worked best for me to come out for an estimate. On the day of the appointment, Alejandro kept me informed on when he was arriving. Once he arrived, he asked all the questions and started the necessary inspections. He inspected every inch of the roof and even used a drone to help. He itemized everything that needed to be addressed and broke them down into sections with estimates listed next to them. Based on the inspections, he identified there was moss present that needed removal, few shingles were damanged, gutters were detached, etc. He took many before photos of what he identified that needed to be addressed. He went through each item with me very thoroughly. I decided to hire them on the spot. He said his crew can come out the next day. They require a 10% deposit. On the day of the project, his crew showed up promptly. They got straight to work. The project took around 4.5 hours long to finish. Triple R gave the most detailed estimate many of the quotes I received were emails with a number and no explanation on the scope of work I was agreeing to. Within the estimate was also pictures of previous work completed so I could see samples of their work. They were on the more affordable end also out of the many quotes received. I dealt primarily with Alejandro he was always very responsive through text and call and took time answering questions I had. I had three 5 star companies come out to bid the replacement of the back half of my roof. They were the least expensive by far. The other companies added on because they said it would cost additional to go around the solar, to take out a skylight, and to refinish the bottom of the chimney. Triple R didn't add a cost for any of these things. Also, I had the same 3 companies bid for the repair of one of the leaking skylights last year. Those bids were similar and they were the only ones who would warranty their work. Also, I wanted 22' of rain gutter, they did charge extra for that, of course. But seeing that there was a 15' rain gutter on another part of my house that was cracking, they replaced it as he felt he might as well, they were out there, it would be problematic soon and they didn't charge another cent!!! Definitely above and beyond I was also really impressed with how they followed up on their work. They had pics and videos of before and after, and videos of the work while it was being done, so I could see what was happening on a day I wasn't there. Rojelio is a fantastic professional. Noticed some roofing material in the back yard after the horrible storm of New Year's Eve 2022/2023 and feared the worst. Based on the reviews here, I contacted Triple R Roofing to have them take a look. There was a bit of confusion about the appointment and they got here well over a week early, but I was home and it's fine. Given what's at stake, better early than late! Anyway, I can't speak directly to the quality of their work since I wound up not needing any, but I can absolutely speak to their honesty: They went up to inspect and found that for some reason I have a pile of composite shingles up there that may well have been sitting since 1997! They found nothing wrong with the roof itself and didn't charge me for the inspection or try to say I needed work that I did not. I'm in no hurry to have to get roofing work done, but if I ever need it, I will absolutely call them first. read more
