My husband and I traveled from LA to Chicago for the first time with our 5 month old and NM Car Service was one of the smartest choices we made on the trip. Neil was incredibly personable. I just wanted to make a minor edit to my prior review from past years: the owner's name is Neil--not Nick (my bad). Apart from that, the service is still excellent and I would challenge the reviewer complaining about 'subpar' (?) rides and high prices for a car service. Perhaps that reviewer has never taken a taxi or an alternative car service but NM is reasonably priced and quite competitive relative to any comparable ground transport service in the Chicago area. Moreover, if the A/C was actually blowing with a higher velocity than the wind on Lake Michigan (questionable) and potentially threatening a bad hair day, why didn't the passenger simply ask the driver to turn it down? Most A/C systems have a thermostat and can be adjusted. On multiple occasions, NM Private Car Service has always been perfectly punctual and reliable. There is no credible reason not to give five stars for this business. read more

We used this car service when we were in town for the Chicago Half Marathon. Neil was prompt in picking the three of us up from the airport and then from where we stayed in the suburbs.
