They make it SO EASY to enter in the type of vehicle you need, the service you want (point to point, airport, or by the hour), and when you need it, to find out ALL IN pricing (tax and tip included). There is nothing I hate more than having to call a company to get a quote or send a request form which just leads to a ton of spam. The drivers were polite, drove safely, and arrived on time; the vehicles were clean and stocked with water. We also got an upgraded vehicle for one of our trips which was a nice perk. Truly outstanding, reliable, and professional service. I had to arrange a trip from south Chicago to O'Hare for my daughter, who had to catch an early morning flight to the Caribbean. Having had inconsistent luck with finding a rideshare at that hour and in that part of town, I wanted to book guaranteed transportation. At first I was going to get her a cab through GO Airport Express, which was the top hit on a Google search, but was stunned to see how poorly rated it was on Yelp. Further investigation turned up this place. 413 five-star ratings out of 470? I don't think I've ever seen a business of this type that was so loved by its customers. Booking online was easy and transparent, with the cost clearly broken down including the added gratuity. I was able to choose the type of vehicle (she got a "regular" Lincoln Town Car - she didn't need a limo!) and enter my payment information, but my card was not charged right away. We received the email confirmation (sent to both my daughter and me, who was acting as her "booking agent"), but as I am wont to do I called a couple days before the trip to see if I needed to verbally confirm the booking. The polite woman with the familiar Chicago accent assured me that so long as we received the email, everything was assured. The day before the trip, we received another confirmation. According to my daughter, on the day of travel the driver was there precisely at the agreed-upon time. The car was "fancy", clean, and comfortable. The driver was polite and drove her safely to the airport, dropping her off at the specified terminal. Everything was just right. No fuss, no stress, no uncertainty. My card was not charged until the end of her ride. Definitely a first-rate operation and deserving of this 414th five-star rating. read more

I'm so glad we booked with Echo! Just as we got on our plane in Phoenix, I decided to book a car so we didn't have to worry about figuring out transportation when we landed. I was travelling with my teenage daughter and felt safer having a car service set, especially since our flight was arriving after midnight. I saw the reviews on Yelp and decided to give Echo a try. There is a reason they have so many 5 star reviews- it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Booking was easy and fast through their website. We got the booking confirmation quickly and by the time we landed at O'Hare, our driver had texted us, too. They provided the vehicle description and license plate and gave clear, easy instructions on where to meet the car. We only had to wait a few minutes for the car to arrive from the staging area- not bad at all. Our driver, Vijay, was professional, very polite, and a very safe driver. The SUV was comfortable, pristinely clean, and had plenty of space. Vijay had water bottles in the car for us, too. We were at our destination in the northwest suburbs before we knew it. It was a wonderfully stress-free experience to end our travel day. I highly recommend Echo and will be thrilled to use them in the future. I used Echo three times and each time I experienced some sort of issue. My first trip was a point to point trip. The driver arrived just a bit early but got lost trying to leave the downtown area. Once we made it into the freeway she was great for my hour long ride. The second trip was hourly service. I can't walk long distances due to surgery (my first trip was to the hospital for my procedure). The driver arrived on time but rather than coming up to the door for my building, he parked on the street and waited there. When my doorman went down to ask him if he was there to pick me up and to direct him to where he should go, he got a little huffy with him. After my appointment, when I went back to the car he was stretched out with the seat leaning back into the back. I giggled and got in. He was mortified at not paying attention. Nice guy tho. My third trip was with the nicest man but was the worst trip. The guy was a few minutes late picking me up. We had a great and uneventful ride. The problem came when I left my appointment to go back to the car. He wasn't there. So I called him but got no answer. I then called dispatch who told me he was parked about two minutes away. Ten minutes later, he still wasn't there so I called again. This time a different person from dispatch got on and told me I didn't have a reservation. I was LIVID. I gave him my reservation number and he exclaims, "He was supposed to wait there for you!" I said, I know but he isn't here. The dispatch guy then says "Well maybe he went around the corner." Excuse me??? The driver then showed up and we went on our way. Unfortunately, due to the treatment I received from dispatch when I called the second time, I will not be using Echo Limousine again. I'm more annoyed at the lack of service than at waiting 11 minutes total for the driver to come back. read more

I have used Echo in the past without issue when traveling to Chicago; in fact, I tried to be a repeat client. A new issue arose today. In April 2021, I had a car service in Chicago booked. I was unable to make the trip due to a weeks-long hospitalization for a severe neurological condition exacerbated by COVID. Once discharged from the hospital, I did receive an email about my no-show, but was told I would be charged in full. I did not contest this. I tried to book them again six months later, and was summarily told "no availability." (It turns out this was almost surely punitive, as my situation today was punitive). Today, I called to book for the first time since 2021. I was told my account was disabled - AFTER they asked me for my credit card number, no less. They cited "non-payment." DESPITE the fact that I was told via email, on 4/15/21, that I was going to be charged in full, and I didn't argue about that. So now I have sent my hospital admission paperwork to prove that I was unconscious and sedated when my car service was booked to get my account reopened. I find a few things about Echo severely disconcerting: 1. That they would be punitive to someone who was lying unconscious in a hospital bed without explanation. 2. That they would tell me I am being charged, and then cite me for "non-payment." (I am verifying with my card issuer that I paid this bill; I certainly thought I did, and would have, based on their email). 3. That, instead of reaching out and explaining when I tried to use them six months later, they send me a condescending "we have no availability" email when in fact they were punishing me for an unbeknownst issue six months prior. Echo: I don't know if you remember 2021, but there was a pandemic, and people were dying. I was hypoxic and on oxygen. I apologize for not meeting your standards that week. Edit: Florin, this is a masterclass in how not to run a business. If my card was for any reason denied (which, by the way, it has never been, nor have I EVER not settled a debt), then you probably should have made ANY effort to contact me. I have no emails from you after April 15 (when, again, I was in the hospital) regarding the matter of an unsettled debt. If you had attempted to collect, you would have done so successfully. And YES, your company did ask for my credit card information today, and I read it to her over the phone. If it wasn't clear, I'm obviously not interested in booking with you. Was that not clear when your receptionist called me an hour ago asking me to book? If only there were other car services in Chicago! read more

Generally a super good car service. We use them every time we leave Chicago for more than two weeks and don't want to leave our car in the parking lot. Generally they are on time, online booking is easy, the cars are super nice, and the drivers friendly. So why only three stars? In two words? Car seats. We've had multiple issues with requested car seats (which costs an extra $20 per seat per trip for a forward facing seat) being broken or inappropriate for the age of the child. I find this totally unacceptable for a high end car company that is going for a premium experience. Car seats aren't complicated. Good ones aren't even expensive. For the price of a single trip from the loop to O'Hare they could Amazon a car seat that would last them 10 years. Don't know about car seats? Neither does anyone else before they are parents - so it's no excuse. 10 minutes of googling should be enough to get an idea of which one to buy. And to any claim of "parents should bring their own" - really? Should you bring your own plates to high end restaurants if they give you dirty ones or ones that are too small for the food? No, because that would be crazy. You expect to get functioning accessories for the activity you're paying for. Or if it's really so hard - don't offer car seats at all and force people to either bring their own or book with a different company. Bottom line, this part of the service needs to improve as it's not fun to get off an 8 hour transatlantic flight with an 16mo old only to wait and additional hour and a half waiting for the company to go back and get the car seat they forgot to add to the car, realize that car seat is broken, then drive with our child in our laps to a gas station where someone else brought a functional one. Appreciate the hustle to get the issue resolved but it really shouldn't be happening in the first place. read more

Had a 5:30PM pick up last night to a wedding in Naperville then a return back home at almost midnight. Both on time. My pick up gentleman's name was Adam. What a genuine nice person. Great conversation. Safe driving when it started to rain en route. Their dispatch is top notch. Originally had a 5:45PM pick up time. Requested yesterday to change it to 5:30PM. Dispatch emails you back confirming what you wanted it changed to and then a reservation confirmation of your modification.
