Generally a super good car service. We use them every time we leave Chicago for more than two weeks and don't want to leave our car in the parking lot. Generally they are on time, online booking is easy, the cars are super nice, and the drivers friendly. So why only three stars? In two words? Car seats. We've had multiple issues with requested car seats (which costs an extra $20 per seat per trip for a forward facing seat) being broken or inappropriate for the age of the child. I find this totally unacceptable for a high end car company that is going for a premium experience. Car seats aren't complicated. Good ones aren't even expensive. For the price of a single trip from the loop to O'Hare they could Amazon a car seat that would last them 10 years. Don't know about car seats? Neither does anyone else before they are parents - so it's no excuse. 10 minutes of googling should be enough to get an idea of which one to buy. And to any claim of "parents should bring their own" - really? Should you bring your own plates to high end restaurants if they give you dirty ones or ones that are too small for the food? No, because that would be crazy. You expect to get functioning accessories for the activity you're paying for. Or if it's really so hard - don't offer car seats at all and force people to either bring their own or book with a different company. Bottom line, this part of the service needs to improve as it's not fun to get off an 8 hour transatlantic flight with an 16mo old only to wait and additional hour and a half waiting for the company to go back and get the car seat they forgot to add to the car, realize that car seat is broken, then drive with our child in our laps to a gas station where someone else brought a functional one. Appreciate the hustle to get the issue resolved but it really shouldn't be happening in the first place. read more

Our driver was kind and professional. He arrived early and communicated immediately. He insisted on loading and unloading our six pieces of luggage, two of which were extra large and heavy. He even double checked with us that we had all our bags before leaving, a gesture which most drivers do not do. His driving was smooth and the car itself was clean and comfortable. The only reason I didn't give five stars is that the car had a mild cigarette smoke odor, which was difficult for me because I have a reactive airway. I couldn't believe how AMAZING this service was. I booked a 2 hour time slot to take me, my bride, our photographer, and two of my groomsmen around the city to take photos on my wedding day. Our driver could not have been better. She was attentive, helpful, complimentary, and aggressive in her driving to make sure we weren't late for anything. She even went as far as helping the bride in and our of the front seat with her dress which had a rather large train. I'd highly recommend this service to anyone that wants an extremely professional and incredibly prompt and helpful driver. This isn't Uber people... This is next level service. In the past year we have such trouble getting ubers/lyfts to and from the airport, so when it came to holiday travel we could not risk it. We also have a 3 month old baby, and didn't want to chance standing out in the cold with her and all the stuff traveling with a newborn comes with. So we booked our travel to the airport then booked from the airport. We booked them individually, maybe you can book round trip but we didn't figure out how to do so not that it really matters-we got two rides booked either way! Even though we mentioned we were bringing a car seat they also brought one upon pick up, which was nice in case we decided last minute not to bring our own on the trip. The driver arrived early to our home but was not intrusive and did not rush us. He helped with the bags, had waters and gum in the car and drove us safely to the airport. I know that seems standard. Yet sometimes you just need someone to spell it out so you know when doing your research on a company. On our return we had two flights cancel on us and the company was quick to be alerted and reached out to us about the cancelation and finding us a new driver with our new arrival time. That driver was at the airport and ready to swing through baggage claim as soon as we texted that we had received our bags. So we didn't have to wait. We were safely dropped off at home in no time. Both drivers were extremely courteous and friendly. Although the price may seem a smidge high, we felt it was a safe option with covid, safe transportation, door to door service and help and appreciate the work the company did when our return flight was completely changed. Also, parking would have cost us over $400 at ohare and round trip including tip and tax (it's already calculated in) was half the cost and we didn't have to lug our stuff from the garage. Car was exceptionally clean: A+ Car arrived earlier than our reservation time. Excellent overall experience with Echo! We needed a one way transfer for 6 teenagers from downtown Chicago to a small town in Michigan 3 hours away.
