This review is strictly on the customer service I received from this company. I made a reservation request on the Elite Trans United website for a planned surgery @ Northwestern Memorial in June. At the time I did not have any friends or family that could assist in picking me up after an outpatient surgery (and NW would not release me to take an Uber/Lyft home alone) but Elite Trans United confirmed they would be available on the date and time I had requested. Derek had personally called me to confirm my appointment. He explained the process to me and the cancellation policy. I was emailed a confirmation and directed to a website to pay for the requested reservation. As my surgery date got closer, my plans had changed and thankfully had family in town to help care for me. I no longer needed Elite Trans United to transport me. I contacted Derek and he provided great communication to me and offered me a full refund. He was out of town but remained in constant communication with me which I extremely appreciated. I definitely plan to use this company again if ever I have a future surgery scheduled and am in need of transportation services. read more

I am not local I reside OUT OF STATE....so the experience was totally horrific. The time that Elite Transport took to write this dissertation (rebuttal) a week LATE is appalling. I fault myself because the times I spoke with Derrick on the phone he always had babies and small children in the background constantly interfering in on our phone conversation. I wasn't alright with and thought then red flag along with unprofessional. This is a company that doesn't accept responsibility for their negligence neither the health of patients/clients. Derrick likes to PR situations without taking the initiative to reach out and rectify the situation. Instead this is what he does and again after viewing glass door indeed along with other sites it was brought to my attention that this guy is not trustworthy. Not once did he reach out to me to contact me after the incident. He is running an Uber service not what he "false" advertises. On his site he states that the company offers various means of transportation. I requested ambulatory service with wheelchair access which was offered and he was super friendly and helpful until he received my money. Bottom line I would be reporting this company further to Illinois BBB & Attorney General office in the event in the future someone is in a fatal situation like myself so the public can be alerted. read more

My mom needed a ride because she was having surgery and after calling several companies we almost ran out of hope. 4 companies quoted me $300-$400 for roundtrip pickup but who has that type of money for a ride especially for the elderly? I called Elite and they were really professional. They quoted my mom like $100 bucks, took her to Walgreens to get her prescription and stopped to get her a bite to eat because her sugar was low. When my mom told me all the stuff they did, I went back and tipped them well. They treated her like she was family. She loves them and we will definitely use them again. read more

I wish I could give Derek (owner) 10 stars! While on a family vacation from Arizona to Chicago, my Mother fell ill with Pnemonia and was Hospitalized @ Northwestern Medical Center. I found Elite Trans United on YELP and and contacted Derek. As my mom's situation evolved, I spoke to Derek daily to discuss transportation options. He was courteous, professional, and accommodating. When the time came for her to be released, Derek took care of her personally and made sure she made it O'Hare Airport. When they arrived at the airport, my mom had to wait 30 mins for a wheel chair. Derek stayed with her the whole time and when she was on her way to the gate, Derek called me to let me know she was safe and sound. I recommend Elite Trans United and Derek to the higest degree. I was so glad to have found Elite Trans United -- I had to schedule a ride from the hospital at the very last minute, and after calling around to other non-emergency medical transporters and being told I could not be scheduled, Derek at Elite Trans United accommodated me. My procedure was also delayed by hours, but Elite rescheduled my pickup time without issue. They were right on time and waiting for me when I was ready for discharge. I was surprised to find Elite probably the most reasonably priced of the NEMT services I've used or asked for quotes. read more

I was having an unexpected surgery and the doctors office told me that I to have a medical transportation company to pick me up (due to anesthesia) so I called several companies, which were attempting to charge me over $200 dollars. Luckily I called Elite and they were able to get me squared away for less than half of what others were charging. They were nice and helped me out in a jam. The last thing you want to think about after surgery is how to get home. I would definitely ride with them again. read more

My husband is ill and needed to go the hospital for treatments. We were going from the south side to U of I hospital on the west side. My daughter help us out on her days off, but he needed to go every day. I was at wits end when I ran across an ad online for Elite Trans. I called and talked with Derek. I called Elite Trans United to assist with bringing my mother home from the hospital because I was out of town, I needed more than an uber driver, someone who cared. Derek, the owner, was very helpful over the phone, gave me a great quote, and I booked. He called me about an hour before picking my mother up to let me know what time he would be there, and he was there. My mother raved on and on about him, he was pleasant, helpful, and played good music. She said she jammed all the way home. I was very impressed with the service. I will definitely use this company again, even for airport transport, just to hear that good music my mom talked about. Five star company! read more

I was trying to find a reputable service to get my in-laws to the airport with medical transport and was only able to secure Elite Trans United. I was apprehensive, due to the newness of the company, but was thoroughly satisfied with the company's performance. Derek, the owner, personally handled my in-laws transportation and exceeded all expectations. He arrived early and patiently waited for them to gather themselves and get to the vehicle.
