It's the first time I booked a car service without talking to a live person, but decided to pull the trigger. They send automated texts and emails, including the name and phone of your driver. I tried calling and texting them the day before just to be sure everything was set up, but they never called or texted me back. Of course, the next morning the driver is nowhere to be found, so I call him and he says "I told Grid yesterday I couldn't pick you up". I call the service and they start scrambling to figure out what went wrong. They call me frantically with some BS story that the driver went to the wrong address. The. They said they had someone on the way (20 mins away). I told them to cancel it and I just ordered an Uber, which arrived in 10 minutes so we could make our flight on time. I'm clearly in the minority here, given their ratings, but you don't get more than 1 chance to let me down for something like this. They still have not emailed or called to acknowledge cancellation of the return pickup or to apologize for totally screwing this up.
