The owner, Eugene responded in a timely manner and was helpful in answering all of my questions. My friends and I booked a one-way ride after a late night music festival. I was initially nervous whether the driver would be able to find us in congested traffic with road blocks amongst a sea of people, but after receiving his call we found each other fairly quickly. My friends and I felt like rock stars as we piled in and pulled away while most everyone else were waiting around for their Uber...if they were able to find one. The SUV was very clean and our driver, Vitale (sp?) was professional and friendly. When there was a song that we liked, he would turn up the volume but if we wanted to talk to each other, he would turn it down without us asking. Very attentive! We reached our destination safely and he gave us a warm and courteous farewell. I was pleasantly surprised when Eugene followed up with me to ensure we enjoyed our experience which we absolutely did. My task seemed rather simple: find a reputable, reliable limo company to take my elderly neighbor and her caregiver to the airport in a nice Cadillac, Lincoln or Mercedes sedan. SUVs were NOT an option because she has trouble climbing in to taller vehicles. I scoured Yelp for an hour looking at various companies and getting estimates for the one-way trip. Prices ranged from $80 - $150. Most companies didn't have a luxury sedan or wouldn't guarantee they'd have one available. Some seemed a little suspicious to me. Some offered a step stool with their SUV (too dangerous). Some had really poor communication. Some just seemed flatout disinterested in earning my business. Some never responded. But Eugene at Excellent Chicago Limo stood out as easily the most professional, responsive and courteous person I reached out to. He understood my concerns, listened attentively and then GUARANTEED a luxury sedan for my elderly neighbor. Better still, his price was the second lowest quote I received -- just a few dollars more than the cheapest quote I received. He booked the ride, I received a confirmation email, and he gave me his cell number in the event any issues arose. In short, he gave me supreme confidence that my elderly neighbor would be in the best of hands. But my gratefulness doesn't end there... My neighbor's trip got canceled due to some personal issues. When I called Eugene to cancel her ride I expected his company to retain a small non-refundable fee for the cancelation. NOPE. He refunded the ENTIRE AMOUNT. No penalty. No fees. No kidding. I have not taken a vacation in a while, This ride to the airport is the beginning of my journey for the week. It will start really great or really bad! Well, I got the best driver in the fleet I bet! Never meant the man before in my life.
