I'm come here all the time. The sushi is super fresh and made quickly. The menu is full of options. Also the servers are super sweet and polite. Five people, takeout, we had sushi - regular rolls and special rolls. Overall excellent food. Good sized portions, well made, tasty, good presentation on a big round takeout platter, lots of ginger on the side, accurate (what we ordered is what we actually got), friendly staff, comparable prices, leaning to the expensive side but definitely worth the money. We will definitely be back again and will recommend to others. The reason I did not give it five stars is that the menu of special rolls is rather limited. Many were 'spicy' or included tempura, both of which are not favored by us. A wider select of special rolls would be great! I'm so disappointed. We've been going to Ninja Sushi since they opened, and the food has been very good. Due to the pandemic, we always get take-out. The wait time for pickup has steadily increased, and this time was terrible. The food came out nearly 90 min. after I received a text saying it would be ready for pickup in 30 min. Hmmm...not a fan. Was in the area and saw that this restaurant recently opened and was offering carryout. Craving Sushi, however trying out a new restaurant I decided to keep it simple. A Spicy Crabmeat roll and the specialty Fuji Roll...atound $23 how can you go wrong? RIGHT! I was quoted 10 min and arrived 15-20 min later. Upon arrival, I wasn't welcomed, there wasn't a host or anyone in the front area but it was...barricaded, due to COVID and hand sanitizer was available. Additionally, it was a little after 3pm and I'm guessing everyone working decided it was lunchtime. Most of the staff was eating, the Sushi chef's just kept looking at me but never an acknowledgement and 7 min later a women emerges from the back. Not even a hello. I gave her my name, my card, and she pointed to her pens. Not even a thank you. I have had much better Sushi from a good court. Sorry to say but after trying one piece of each roll they were like the service...TRASH. read more

I really wanted to love this new spot. The young people working there are enthusiastic and sweet. The owners have renovated the space, resulting in a clean, slightly techno, finish. During the pandemic, they are serving carry-out. Mine was ready on time. The miso soup was fine, the tempura, not-so-good. I suspect the oil was not hot enough; the panko was rubbery (mushy in some spots) and absolutely flavorless. It may have been from frozen. The fried rice was mushy and similarly flavorless. The pan-fried dumplings, however, were yummy, as was the gyoza sauce served with them. The servings were ample. (I would rather more freshness and taste...) Total price, $26. Next time I'll try the sushi, and report back. P.S. People in this area are so delighted to have a new restaurant (in this culinary wasteland) that the ratings for most are really inflated... read more

Really great sushi and hand rolls! They don't over do it on the rice and you can taste how fresh all of their ingredients are. Also their vegetable gyoza is not oily and packs a nice crunch. We give them a 3.5. Our family ordered avocado rolls, Godzilla rolls, hibachi chicken dinner with fried rice and ramen noodles. The food was good. Our favorites are the yum yum sauce that came with the hibachi dinner and the Godzilla rolls. We ordered online and walked in about 10 minutes later than scheduled. The overall quality isn't bad; the fish and included side salad were fresh, texture of the rice is right, the rolls neatly made. Everything tasted right. That said, the portions were rather less than what I was expecting and left me hungry afterwards - not just in size but the proportion of the good stuff to the fillings. If you look at just the price, it's quite reasonable compared to the typical sushi joint in this area but I suspect not necessarily in value. Some of the other reviews are effusive in their praise, but I'd temper my expectations.
