I'm consistently impressed with this unassuming spot for sashimi, nigiri, and sushi. Everything I had was incredibly fresh and they do not skimp on the cuts. The service was attentive and intrusive, and it was a lovely quiet spot on an earlier Saturday evening. Recs: Peacock roll and salmon deluxe. The first time I tried them, we had their miso ramen (solid 6/10) and crab wontons (solid 4) which were alright - if I'm coming here it'll definitely be for the fish.

You'd never know you struck gold when looking at this spot from the outside.. but this is a gem of a place! Customer service was great and we didn't feel rushed to leave. We ordered Thai iced teas, soup and lots of sushi! Everything was great! I absolutely loved my sweet heart. Beautiful in presentation, I almost didn't want to eat it! And a wonderful journey for your tastebuds! Everything was so fresh! My friend got the lunch special which was a great deal 3 rolls for 12.99 and add soup or salad for 2.99 more. She got the sweet potato roll, eel with avocado and shrimp tempura. She enjoyed all her rolls! I'll definitely be back for more!!!

Food: excellent - we tried 4 rolls and had miso soup. The tuna roll had some of the largest pieces of tuna I've ever had at a sushi restaurant. Service: super speedy & friendly Atmosphere: tucked in an inconspicuous strip mall, pleasant music playing, clean Price: really affordable Will be returning!!

Food: Very good, unique options for rolls, nigiri quality was questionable on some fish - some seemed frozen prior and not fresh. Service: long wait for take out on a week night Pricing: reasonable for the quality and compared to the area Decided last minute to do sushi take out and found this spot. Everything was packed nicely and miso soup was packed separate. Plenty of soy sauce and chopsticks. Ginger and wasabi was fresh. Overall would eat here again but probably skip the nigiri.

A Staple in Our Love Story -- and Our Stomachs! Sushi Toro has become one of our all-time favorite spots. Jason took me here on our very first date, and it was an instant hit. Ever since, we've been coming back as often as we can -- and every time, it's just as wonderful. Last night, after a long, exhausting day at work, we headed over again. We were seated right away and chose to sit at the bar. The staff kindly switched the TV to the basketball game for us, which was such a thoughtful touch! We started off with a round of strawberry soju (so refreshing!) and the spicy hangover kimchi ramen as an appetizer -- and WOW. That ramen was out of this world. I genuinely had a moment where I wished I could rewind time just to enjoy it all over again. For drinks, I sipped on a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, while Jason had a beer. We shared two sushi rolls that were incredibly fresh and flavorful -- we honestly couldn't get enough. We also ordered the vegetable fried rice, which rounded out the meal perfectly. From the atmosphere to the service to every bite of food, Sushi Toro continues to impress. We'll absolutely be back -- again and again!

Very yummy! We got the Lunch special which was 3 rolls for 13.50, not bad at all! Cozy place to get some good sushi.

Service was great and the sushi was decent. Small spot but busy with orders and customers. I was happy to see so many take out orders and customers dining in. It seems like a loved local spot. I ordered the White Flint roll and Green Monster roll. The White Flint roll was tasty, not spicy at all even though the yellowtail was listed as spicy. The green monster was pretty bland. The spicy tuna inside the roll didn't have much kick. The seaweed salad was ok. I would come back to try other items, particularly a different roll and their poke bowl.

10/10 everytime! I love going back here. The sushi burritos are my favorite thing ever.

Everything's plated so nicely. I strongly recommend the Ponzu Salmon. The zesty citrus taste is spot on. Service is speedy and friendly. Love the store's atmosphere. Pictures taken from my friend's Little Red Book account. ID at the lower right corner.

New secret menu toasted rice with spicy tuna, avocado, and mango at sushi Toro. Yum!

Secret menu items at this AMAZING and small, great service sushi place? Yes please! Check out their new experiments with toasted sushi rice, spicy tuna, avocado, and a tiny dice of mango! Delicious. Their California rolls are always the best though. Don't miss this gem with plenty of free parking and great prices.

This is just a food stand, near currently Pollo Campero. I ate at iSushi perhaps 2 or 3 times. One of the noteworthy times was on Saturday, January 12, 2019. I had started a Biggest Loser challenge at my work and was trying to lose weight. I got sushi rolls, which was fairly healthy, not a whole lot of food, which a bit of a negative as I was hungry not that long later. iSushi is decent, but nothing to write home about. I've had worse sushi like one time a year earlier in January 2018, I got Safeway grocery store sushi. Now that sushi was weak! My girlfriend at that time was significantly late, like an hour late. We were going to go to a sit-down restaurant in Wheaton before a game night at apartments above the Safeway, but because she was so dang late, we grabbed sushi quickly from Safeway. Interesting side note about this day at Wheaton Mall: On this particular Saturday, I had a 2nd (& last) date with this woman for the movie at AMC Wheaton called On the Basis of Sex about Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg's early days in law school trying to get into law, which was almost unheard of when she started in 1956. At the end of the movie, there were captions about Ginsberg in her real life with pictures. When seeing the real life facts, my date said I didn't realize this a true story. I was surprised she was thinking Ruth Bader Ginsberg was some nice fictional story. In summary, staff at iSushi was nice. It is not a place I'd rush back to, but it's not a bad option in the food court.

Ultimately, on the evening commute, someone on the Metro was nice to let her borrow his phone. I met up with her. We had a movie too and weren't able to coordinate timing. So, we didn't have time for dinner and went straight to movie. We got popcorn to hold us over; I think it was my birthday popcorn I get from AMC. After the movie, we ate a late dinner at Moby Dick.
