I know beef is expensive but the serving size of beef is Ridiculous! I'd rather pay more or have less than be given cubes of beef as big

Usually I would not take time to do a review for a restaurant within a shopping mall, however the Ninja was not ordinary "mall" food experience. I had a couple of people recommend this palace to me and I was finally able to try it. This Asian type meal was cooked fresh, very tasty, and we were provided an extremely large portions. The servers are very nice and the restaurant is very clean. I just could not find a reason to deduct a star.

Ninja Grill is a new Resturant in the lower level food court area of the Kenwood Mall, nice surrounding and space, the workers were nice, and friendly as I was walking by the worker was waving at me, so I decided to try there food, I ordered shrimp fried rice and egg roll it's cooked to order, you choose your base, veggies, cooking sauce, and dipping sauce, the food is good worth the price, I really didn't like there soy sauce just a different taste, but there yum yum sauce is good. Give them a try.

We were greeted upon entering my the host and manager Seated immediately at a pristine table. Our waitress, Devon explained several items on the menu and made recommendations based on customer likes. We started with the focaccia bread. Lightly toasted. With our choice of herb butter or olive oil. Perfect, we ate every bite. Then we had the beet salad Red & Golden beets thinly sliced with fresh herbs and goat cheese. A lot of thought went into making this dish perfect thank you chef My lady ordered the filet and I had the 14oz Choice Strip Steak. Both incredibly tender and served with a variety of sauces. Bone broth, chimichurri, and herb butter. All the sauces were fabulous with me, preferring the bone broth. Our side dish of roasted herbs brussels sprouts, and cauliflower in balsamic glaze, very tasty. We did the big finish with a large slice of delicious carrot cake. The host and the manager Mark came by and checked out on us to make sure everything was perfect, our server Devon made sure everything was perfect & treated us like royalty. Definitely a five star experience

(I will be booking this option from now on.) I ordered the surf and turf seasonal option with lobster and filet mignon cooked medium. I was surprised when a sea scallop I didn't order and a small glass of wine spritzer popped up but this is part of the chefs table experience - it was a sea scallop grilled with a chimichurri sauce and some crispy prosciutto. I would have never ordered this on my own so it was nice to try. I am a not a huge seafood person - the minute I cut into it I smelled the sea which was a turn off and I wasn't a fan of the texture but once I cut into tiny pieces and mixed with the sauce and the proscuitto I was able to actually find myself enjoying the dish plus boy did it look pretty coming out! The chefs table is nice because you get to watch everything be cooked - the mac and cheese looks amazing every single time - omg I must try it sometime. My waitress was phenomenal with purple and blue hair and the glittery eye shadow. She was so attentive and helpful. The steak was so juicy and cooked perfectly - I think next time I would get a larger steak or the grilled shrimp option as I wasn't the biggest fan of the lobster tail but still finished it. The salad was okay - I wish it had ranch instead. I also got the orange cream cloud for dessert to go which was shockingly light, airy and delicious - the citrus flavors with the passion fruit are so refreshing. I can't wait to come back and try something new . The place is beautifully decorated and they offer free parking options - the music is very low so you can have a conversation and even the chefs table wasn't too loud even though it was right next to the kitchen.

We stopped by after a visit to the Newtown Candy shop. We took some lobster roll kits and clam chowder home. They pride themselves on fresh seafood regularly flown in from around the world. Their pricing is double Jungle Jims and triple kroger. Can't say good or bad until we try the fresh fish. For example they have many types of Salmon from around the globe. $49.99 for Sea Bass is pricey for me. I think Halibut was $39.99 a pound and the salmon was $20-$30 a pound. They also make their own sides. The clam chowder had too many potatoes. On Friday and Saturday nights they cook a few meals out back in a small tent/room. Main items are Lobster Rolls and Fish n chips.

Some of the best Thai food I've had between here & Cali (disclaimer: never been to Thailand!). I took my cousin here while she was visiting from Cali last summer and we loved it. I didn't try hers but the eggplant made my eyes roll into the back of my head. + Nam tok: Never have I ever had a place give me so much beef in this. It's like an entire steak. Really amazing flavor on this too. It punched me in the face in a good way! Makes me question the other nam toks I've had before! + Pad see ew: Serious wok hei on this and other pad see ew I have had around here doesn't come close. Wow. + Eggplant: Tender tofu and masterful technique on the eggplant. + Tom kha: Vegetal and punchy. Next time I should get it less spicy so that the acid is the star. + Pineapple rice: Wow, indescribably good. There's so much depth of flavor and smokiness. The curry powder tastes freshly ground & bloomed. This dish transcends itself... I don't know who's cooking here but man I wish I could learn from them. The food was GREAT, we started with the garlic cheese bread it was excellent crisp and uber cheesy. I had the eggplant rolatini it was delicious right blend of ingredients garlicky, cheesy and covered with marinara. There was spaghetti and meatballs by another of our diners which he raved about. Tony's special was enjoyed by another diner. Not one negative was mentioned at the table. The ambiance or lack there of was not a real concern, the pictures and posters were interesting enough. If they could put the lights on dimmers it would certainly help. Food and service were excellent and the atmosphere, strip mall Italian modern hahaha. I definitely recommend and we will return... We wanted to come here because it's very close to our friend who joined us. We have been to Giovanni's many times and always enjoy it. They have stopped lunch service, which is a bummer because Giovanni's is much closer to us than Tony's. Oh... I don't know the family tree, but Giovanni's and Tony's are definitely related. Their menus are identical... well, almost. My favorite meal at Giovanni's is Giovanni's Special. At Tony's the same dish is known as Tony's Special. Anyway... I found the garlic knots more delicious at Tony's. The bread was tender and they had enough garlic butter on them it was easy to see. This same side at Giovanni's was always a 'throwaway', but at Tony's it was a star. I had to order the special, but I forgot to ask for penne rather than spaghetti. I wish the server has asked. When the meal arrived at the table I was a little disappointed, but even with spaghetti it was delicious. I don't know how they turn a tomato/eggplant mixture into an amazing sauce, but they do. Mark had the same thing and our friend had Fettuccine Carbonara and really enjoyed it. As always, there was enough for both lunch and take-home dinner. I hope Tony's stays around and that they continue with lunch hours. Even though it's a long drive, we always prefer going out for lunch over dinner and we'd be willing to make the drive.

Maggie (I think that was her name. It's been a while) was wonderful! Took amazing care of us! Started with crab cakes that were so flavorful & on this really delicious corn succotash. Then the sushi was unexpected delicious. Ours had steak and we ate the whole thing. We also got some brussel sprouts & fries (since I wasn't sure how my kid would react to the Brussels). Get the brussel sprouts! Kiddo ate them over the fries & I was shook. I have to bring my chef partner up with me so he can try to recreate them. They were incredible! Maggie then surprised my daughter with their signature dessert of elevated fried Oreos because of her name. It was so kind & soo so good. I think it was a raspberry sauce on the plate that was next level. I live in Lexington just a lil while down the road & needless to say I have been telling everyone about our experience. We got the NY strip and Filet as our entrees with mac and cheese and french fries for the sides. The filet was cooked perfectly and was juicy with every bite. The NY on the other hand was very tough and hard to chew. It was not tender and had no flavor. We were suprised by this. The fries with the aioli were great and the mac and cheese was perfectly creamy. Over all we wished a few of the dishes were better but thought they could be fixed. The staff was excellent!

My friend and I split the house salad and WOW. A complete showstopper. So fresh, the vinaigrette was bright and delightful, and those fresh bacon bits? Chef's kiss. It's rare that a house salad stands out like that, but this one absolutely did. Now let's talk about the prime rib. I typically do not like steak or prime rib... but our waitress recommended it as the best thing on the menu, and honestly the Yelp photos had already convinced me. When I tell you it was BOMB -- I mean it. So tender. So flavorful. Perfectly cooked. Paired with broccolini and mashed potatoes, it was a whole experience. To end the night, we shared the apple tart with cinnamon ice cream -- warm, sweet, comforting, and the perfect finish to an already amazing meal. Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Great service, incredible food, and such a vibe. I cannot wait to come back.
