First time here. Have been wanting Chinese food for weeks. I ordered spring rolls for appetizer. For my meal I ordered Mei Fun spice level 6. My wife ordered her usual Pad Thai spice level of 4 Very clean restaurant. With a very nice staff. Fast service. Nice atmosphere. The dishes were pretty darn good. I have to give it a 4 star due to the atmosphere cleanliness and how fast the food came out. We will be back for sure.

the food was chewy and we didn't get chop sticks, the service however was quick and everyone was nice. Both meals were what I would call Mid.

I'll start by saying that the family who owns/runs the restaurant was extremely nice to us and made sure we had everything we asked for. They came back many times to refill our drinks and make sure we didn't need anything else. Our food also arrived timely and warm. Inside the restaurant is a quaint environment with cozy booths and tables that were all quite comfortable. As for the food, their presentation was very nice and inviting! It wasn't the best Chinese cuisine I've had but not the worst either. The appetizers (dumplings and crab rangoon were actually fairly tasty) but the orange chicken we ordered (not pictured) had a very strange aroma to it just before biting into it and then didn't actually have much flavor at all. I ended up ordering the sushi because many of the positive reviews talked about how good the sushi was. I'm inclined to disagree though. I ordered the Dragon and Sunday Morning Rolls (usually two of our go-to's anywhere we go) and they both were warm and mushy in places they shouldn't be. The salmon in the Sunday morning roll tasted like it was maybe smoked salmon from a package instead of fresh raw salmon and the inside of the dragon roll (which is usually cold and fresh) was hot and mushy. This was an out of the way place for us that some friends chose so I don't see us going back but if we did I'd probably get just the appetizers again. Those were actually pretty good.

Well priced food that hits the spot, especially when you're craving that salt and MSG. The sushi here is a hidden gem, and isn't available for online ordering. Don't miss out on it though, call your order in or stop by in the restaurant to check availability! It's 100% worth the extra steps, with the Sweet Potato sushi roll being my favorite I have found in the tri-state.

Food: We ordered an assortment of maki rolls. The fish was fresh, but we found that most of the rolls had the same flavor profile. The eel roll was packed full of eel and avocado. The rainbow roll had a really yummy sauce on top which was a nice twist. We weren't the biggest fans of the spicy tuna and the volcano roll was underwhelming. One other note was that the content of most of the rolls weren't explained on the menu picture or online ordering platform. I'd be curious to go back and try their Chinese menu sometime! Wait time: We ordered carryout sushi on Christmas Day and they said it would be done in 20 minutes. When we arrived, they hadn't started making the sushi and said it would be an additional 30 minutes. When we came back 30 minutes later, it was an additional 20 minutes. I understand it was Christmas and they were short staffed, but it just took much longer than we were anticipating.

This is a decently good Chinese restaurant that had some extras in their menu, like sushi and pad thai (I updated photos if their menu for everyone). It isn't the kind of place I'd go out of my way for, but if I lived near here or was visiting the area I would definitely stop in often. I ordered the Kung Po shrimp and it was very good. It had a nice kick and there were plenty of shrimp offered in the dish. I also got a New York roll. It was better than I expected it to be. I like how they gave me orange slices with my fortune cookie at the end, a great end to a big meal. If you are in this area, give New Garden a try.

My husband had been craving Chinese food for weeks. We had not had an opportunity to visit our two favorite establishments. Being in the area, and seeing New Garden, it was decided to try somewhere new. Price for the amount of food provided was outstanding. I can't remember the last time all five of us ate for $30, and had leftovers. Takeaway containers were filled to the brim. That was true for both the entires and rice. Fried or white rice comes with the entires. General Tso's Chicken was a little spicy. The vegetables included in the dish (really all the chicken dishes,) were a nice touch. Children enjoyed the orange chicken. The special of the night was pineapple chicken. It was sweeter than I was expecting. It was also a big hit with the children. Food was made to order. Both take out and sit down are available. While I would not drive out of my way for New Garden, I would eat it again if in the area.

General Tso's Chicken. Delicious sauce with fresh cut vegetables.

What a great find! My husband and I decided to give this place a try and I am glad we did. We ate here on a Friday night and there was no wait. We wanted to try several things so decided to split General Tso's Chicken, Eel Avocado Rolls, and Fried California Rolls. The General Tso Chicken came out first and it was delicious. Probably the best I have had of this dish. The sauce was very good and the vegetables were freshly chopped. It was huge too, we could have split that as our meal without the sushi. About 5 minutes later the sushi came out which was fine because we were splitting everything, but if we weren't then I would have been waiting for my meal as he ate his, but for us it wasn't a big deal. The sushi was freshly made and very good. We were very happy with our food choices. The restaurant itself is very clean, including the bathrooms. They even have umbrellas growing from the lights above, crazy right?! Overall for the food, the price, the portions, it is a very good option in Ft. Thomas and we will be back for sure!

The food for me like the flavor and it didn't taste like your typical Chinese American food.

I warmed it in my air fryer for 6 minutes on 330 so it didn't overcook. The croissant was flaky and delicious, and the kimchi added good flavor without being spicy. Last night I ordered the crab rangoon roll (again, because I really enjoyed it the last time), a California roll, and a sweet potato roll. My fella had a hankering for sushi and found Sake Bomb on google, an easy 7ish minute walk straight up the road from the aquarium. The building was under construction and there was an overabundance of signs not only telling you where to go and where not to go, but also about ordering and pick up and other various things. I found that actually quite charming, along with the unnecessary quotation marks. But we entered and were seated right away (it was a late Monday morning, it wasn't gonna be overflowing anyway). I really liked the look and feel of the place and it made it feel very private in our seating spot. I really wanted to enjoy a small adult beverage (it was actually the start of a 2-week vacation for me and I wanted to feel a little indulgent). But the soju options I was eying all came in far too large serving sizes. BUT THEN the server informed me of the smaller sized options, it was just lost in the very busy and overwhelming menu. Perfect! And kudos to him for not pushing a more expensive, greater volume item! My guy ordered a couple rolls for us to share and I also got an order of the seaweed salad (a staple that I LOVE). The food came out quick. The salad portion was HUGE. And the rolls tasted delicious and we both left with our hunger sated. I would definitely recommend the short jaunt away from the Levee for a quieter, tasty meal, if you are in the area and looking for an Asian meal to enjoy.

My husband set an alarm for 5:58am to get ready to go to the site and try to get reservations for 7pm Saturday night. However, in the couple of seconds it took him to figure out how the reservation site worked, all 8 spots for the 7pm time slot were taken. 5pm was not our preference so he got lucky to get 2 spots at 9pm. Yay. All the sashimi was very tasty and super fresh. The range of flavors varied from creamy tuna taste to some fishy sardines. My favorite, a fish I never tried before, is Jackass - very delicious. Btw it was our first Omakase experience ever, and we look forward to trying more of these places in the future.
