I haven't been to a hibachi place in years, mainly because I felt the ones I went to were just okay, until my lady wanted to bring me here. And honestly, this was the best hibachi experience I've ever had. The service was great, the food was very well cooked and filling, and our hibachi cook was pretty entertaining. We went on a Sunday afternoon to meet with a friend of my lady who's a big fan of the place. The place itself isn't huge, but has two main sections, one is for general dining with a bar area as well, and the other is the hibachi area. Their menu has lots of different options to choose from, including stir frys and specialty dishes and sushi. Of course, we were all about the hibachi. You can choose a single protein or get a combo for a little more. I opted for the steak and shrimp, my lady got the chicken and scallops, and her friend got the chicken and steak. Our hibachi master was excellent and definitely knew his stuff. He cooked all of our food perfectly and really put on a good show. If you're adventurous and a little daring (and legal drinking age), ask your hibachi master for a shot of saki... But be prepared to catch it in your mouth. I never thought I'd say this about any hibachi place, but this is now my favorite, and the price is very nice too. You absolutely will NOT leave here still hungry. I know I didn't! read more

My friend at work raves about this place. She dines in at least twice a month. Since they were open for lunch, me and my friends from work wanted to try it. I looked at the pricing for both lunch and dinner and they are much cheaper than most Hibachi restaurants. My friend also tells me they give you a good amount of food, especially the rice. The inside is very small but clean and open. There is a sushi bar and if you don't want Hibachi, there are tables for you to order from the menu. I opted for the Hibachi lunch combo. Fried rice with extra egg. Proteins- Scallops and Shrimp. You get a side salad (ginger dressing) and soup. You get veggies but I just wanted mushrooms. I wanted to pair a glass of sake with it. When our cook came out. He was so energetic and very friendly. Jay was entertaining and got our table yelling. Lots of flames so sit back and enjoy! If you volunteer, he will offer to squirt sake in your mouth. Which my friends picked me since I recently had a birthday. It was so much fun! He also threw fried egg and I had to catch it with my mouth. I caught the sake but not the egg. The food was amazing! He kept piling the rice and also gave me some steak and chicken! Everything was perfect. Only $26.00 dollars for all of that?! Definitely left a generous tip. What an awesome experience and I can't wait to take my Mr. here because I know he will enjoy it too! Went here for the first time for a Valentine's Day lunch with my husband. Service was pretty good, but we were disappointed with the food in general. I ordered a sushi roll that was not at all as described and when I asked for something different they told me they would still have to charge me for the food they made that wasn't described correctly. I talked to the manager and he only offered half off. I had to pay half the money for them to throw the gross food away. Will never return again. After 40 minutes, I went up to the counter to ask what the delay was. The woman working there had a total meltdown and started screaming at me, then went into the other room and started screaming at my wife who was still seated. Ordered a $20 plate of the chicken katsu. Breading was awful. Was falling off barely touching it, flavorless, chicken was flavorless, dry. Sauces lack in flavor too. The yum sauce was weird compared to other hibachi places. I thought the teriyaki was weird too. I was offered a 30% discount for the 3 bites I took, evidently they deserve reward for cooking a bad dish. The ginger dressing for the salad was good. So if you want a good tasting ginger dressing go here but for anything else I can't recommend this over any other hibachi place. read more

It's decent value. Feels a little bit like a poor man's Benihana. The hibachi meals are good (less butter in the rice than Benihana... no! Lol) and the sushi rolls are fine, but I don't get terribly excited. Also, if there are more than a handful of diners, they can be slower than you might find at Benihana or Fuji Steakhouse (Eastgate). Still, for convenience more than anything, we probably go to Hibachi Master as much as Fuji Steakhouse. It's just so close to the house. read more

The only feedback I would give is that they tend to overload themselves on reservations and the wait always seems to be quite a bit longer than promised - but that's something that can easily be corrected. read more

As we all know, the law requires good Asian restaurants to be in strip malls. This one fits the bill. I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but my goodness is their chicken hibachi delicious. They put a slight char and grill flavor on the zucchini and chicken that elevates it far beyond normal hibachi. The veggies are all perfectly tender still. I don't know that their sauces are anything special, but the execution is so perfect that it doesn't matter. I drive 25 minutes to get here now because no other restaurant produces hibachi like this in the area. Highly recommended. read more

Terrible service! horrible service! the owner is a rude nasty person. I ordered noodles that came with onions that wasn't listed on the menu. I am allergic to onions. When I noticed that it was covered in onions. I asked the server if I could order something else. The owner came out from the back and told me that I would have to pay for another meal. I told him that I didn't understand why I would have to pay for another meal if I didn't eat the first one. I told him he could check the cameras. But it was clear that I didn't eat that plate of food. He started yelling and stating that, " you want free food". Mind you no one said anything about getting free food. I just wanted to re-order a replacement that I could eat that would send me to the hospital. He said he could discount the $16.00 plate for half off. I told him no, that I didn't not feel comfortable paying for food I didn't eat. And that I was NOT GOING TO ORDER ADDITIONAL PLATE AND PAY FOR THAT IN ON TOP of that. He ended up calling the police. And the police told him that this wouldn't go anywhere in court. And the judge would very upset to even review the case. I ended up just paying for the plate. And the officers that came apologize to me even know they didn't do anything wrong. And stated that you should never have to pay for food that you didn't even eat. And that they multiple calls to this restaurant for VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. All I have to say that this is horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible service and the owner of this restaurant shouldn't even own a restaurant with this type of attitude. The food is good, the hibachi chefs are fun and sweet. The service, not so much. However, this is only from one server. She is a shorter Asian woman with a thick accent, and she is the meanest and most miserable server we have ever had. We have spent over 400 dollars at Hibachi Master in the last couple of months. We sit at the hibachi and drink quite a bit, we love to have a good time here. We always tip the hibachi cook cash and we always tip over 20% to our servers. Our checks get racked up and as former servers ourselves, we treat waitstaff very kindly. There is no reason for this woman to be so atrociously rude. When we went a few days ago we had our friends from out of town with us. We were excited to show them our favorite spot to eat out and have a good time. Our friends are vegan, and they decided not to eat anything from the hibachi because they didn't want to irritate the cook by requesting no eggs, butter, etc. When they told the server they wouldn't be eating from the hibachi and were ordering sushi and appetizers instead, she paused, rolled her eyes and said "So, you're not going to eat from the hibachi?" and our friends said no. She then sighed dramatically and muttered something in her native language. (Likely talking about us) I had also ordered a shot of Captain and she brought me Captain on the rocks. I was very polite and told her I had just wanted a straight shot. She, again, rolled her eyes and stormed off. Inside the glass was clearly the same Captain with the ice strained out. It was extremely watered down, and chilled now. I wanted a straight shot. The fact that she probably spitefully strained out the ice and felt like she was getting me back for our friends lack of ordering from the hibachi is infuriating. Aside from this, she never returned. We didn't get another drink, any refills, nobody pre-bussed our tabletops. Prior to this last experience, the time before we had this same server and my fiancé and his friend were ordering sake bombs. This clearly infuriated her because she gave them attitude again, and she also, never returned that time either. This woman is just awfully mean and really shouldn't be working on the floor. We have decided that we will never go back based on that server alone. This is a shame because we love to support small business and we spend a ton of money there when we do go. This isn't a threat to try to get something from Hibachi Master, this is just honest criticism. We are now on a search for a new hibachi and sushi spot. read more

When the gentleman came to our table I mentioned the issue with my mother's food. Just had supper here with my fiance, and it was wonderful! We had the hibachi dinner for two, scallops, lobster, shrimp, filet mignon and veggies. Also came with soup, salad and rice. It was delicious! Or service was perfect, will absolutely be returning. Price was perfect for the quality and amount. I'm not a sushi fan, but their display and selection looked amazing. Also ordered a seven and seven, was made just right. My fiance and I were very pleased with every aspect of our early dinner. Very nice inside,comfy and welcoming dining room. I'm going to plan to return at the end of the month for fiance's birthday and have the hibachi table experience, our server highly recommended it, and we are def looking forward to it. My son wanted sushi for his birthday dinner and we tried this place on a recommendation. I wasn't thrilled about it when I saw the "Luciferian" symbol on the outside of the building (c'mon guys, really? It's a restaurant, not a death metal show). Anyway, the service was a disappointment, we had a party of five. They do not wait for everyone's food to be served at the same time, they kept bringing out our dishes at separate times, making us feel awkward to eat while others did not have food. They did this with appetizers and also with our dinner. My husband ordered hibachi steak medium rare, it came out looking grey throughout. He could not eat it. The waitress did discount the meal, but I thought it should have been comped seeing how he did not eat it. The rest of us had a good meal, but no one was impressed. Carryout-- The salad had lots of water in the bottom like they didn't drain it before putting in the box and the dressing was bland. We ordered the pork and chicken katsu. On the menu it states you get salad, soup, rice and vegetables. Our meats came served on lettuce. The same lettuce that is the salad. Also we ordered sushi that our server forgot to ever bring out to us. Everything that we did eat was very mediocre tasting. The chicken katsu was like a crappy chicken nugget and the pork katsu was like a bad pork tenderloin... on lettuce. Management was dumbfounded when we brought up the photo on the menu had actual vegetables and they told us that is the wrong photo.
