    Tonkatsu ramen and Chicken Karaage
    Lilianna G.

I got the Chicken Katsu sandwichs and some chicken karaage for an appetizer. They were both very very nasty and incredibly delicious. I also had some of the Tonkatsu ramen, it was very good all around and I would recommend it. We also got the Miso and seafood ramen and both of them were very very good. The person that waited on use was very nice and very kind while taking our order. The inside of the restaurant was very cute and clean, and well decorated!

A former coworker of mine always raved about this place and even went at least once a week. So, I knew that, eventually, I'd have to check it out for myself. Was it as good as he said? Definitely! Excellent service, great food, and an atmosphere that looks like something straight out of Japan itself. My boss and I went on a Thursday to check it out. The place itself is rather small with only about six tables, but don't let that fool you, because what it may lack in size it makes up for in character and flavor. The menu features lots of tasty appetizers, ramen (of course), rice dishes, and soups and salads. No sake but that's okay because I was on the clock anyway. We started out with an order of gyoza, an order of shumai, and two green teas. Both the shumai and gyoza were cooked just right and delicious. As for our ramen, my boss got the seafood bowl and I got the shio (because I love bok choy). We didn't wait long at all before everything was ready and it really hit the spot. Hard to beat good ramen on a cold winter day. Overall, for the price, it was a really good deal too. If you've read any of my other reviews, you likely know what I'm gonna say next, and yes, I'm likely gonna visit here again sometime with my lady because I know she'll enjoy it too. Absolutely worth checking out!

Small , sweet and straight to the point.this was a random search near work . Food was great and you have the option of making entrees spicy .boring details include plenty of free parking and you can get it to go or eat in . I ate in and the waitress was nice . Bad news's is, they use imitation crab on some entrees . I opted to not having it . And the house salad was literally green lettuce with ginger dressing . No cucumber onion nothing . It was $5, so there's that. I'd totally go back . Anderson, you Kept this place top secret!

My friends and I were going to Jungle Jim's and wanted to try some place new! The choices they made were perfect. From the darling decor to the concise menu to delicious Raman and Curry Rice with pork cutlet! Their curry brought back memories of my childhood in Japan. My friend loved her Raman and their green tea was perfect on a cold day. Great food and service! I recommend you try them!!

The aroma of fresh delicious food, and the smiles on customers faces told us had a winner the minute we opened the door to this quaint Japanese restaurant, located in Anderson Township in a strip mall next to Dairy Queen. I had the Seafood Bowl. chicken broth curry flavored with fresh ramen noodles, vegetables, shrimp, scallops, and fish. The waitress said the dish might be spicy but I found it perfect for my pallet. A little heat, but not overpowering. My partner had the chicken bowl, ramen noodles, vegetables, chicken breast, and an egg. We found both dishes, very satisfying. Expect to wait about 10 minutes for your food to be prepared because everything is made fresh to order.

Stopped by here Saturday night while roadtripping through Ohio. The place was not crowded and each dish was extremely affordable ($6-$7 for appetizers and $13-$15 for mains). We got the Gyoza to start, the Miso ramen and the Tan Tan ramen. Everything was solid but the broth in both ramen dishes was a bit on the light side and not the best I've ever had for either style. I'd definitely still encourage anyone in the area to check this place out.

This it's a quick and easy dinner in option. Not too busy and take out is available. I wouldn't normally spend that kind of money on ramen, but it's good.I guess it's the new fad. My friend has Katsu, which I was unfamiliar with. She let me try and I think it was better than my seafood choice. The seafood was good as well. I didn't have an egg and I feel that may have been an important part of this meal. The ambiance is casual and quiet. Kids love it too. What kid doesn't love ramen, right? The drinks are just individual drinks from a bottle out a can.

3.5 stars! I had a hankering for some ramen since it's been getting colder and found Osaka ramen house! Yelp and Google ratings were pretty high so this was where we chose to go. First off, I want to just put out there that I'm from Socal and have had a lot of good ramen as well as Ramen from Japan. So my taste buds could be very different from the locals. Anywho.. we ordered the karaage, gyoza, and tonkotsu ramen. The karaage was pretty good! I know each establishment has their own recipe for karaage and I really enjoyed this one. It was simple, but still juicy and flavorful. Gyoza was good, nothing too crazy there. I thought the Tonkotsu ramen was good, it satisfied my ramen craving, but it wasn't anything super amazing. The broth wasn't as rich as I would like, but it felt light. The chashu was very different from what I'm used to- it looks like they seared it first which I found interesting, but it was a nice additional texture. The restaurant itself is super cute and has such a vibe which I love. Service was great and timely - I definitely will come back here to try their other ramen.

I had an overall good experience here. I know I will frequent this place more in the colder months. I am SO happy with the fact that they serve potato croquettes here and it doesn't have meat. From what I saw, it only had potato, onion and a little bit of carrots. It came out so fresh that it was worth burning my tongue over. The chicken katsu curry was good but I definitely had to add a lot of spice to get it to the level of heat that I want. Overall it was nice and mellow. I know next I'll try to see if they have pickled ginger for me to add to the curry. It went amazing with the potato croquettes. The chicken ramen was good but I definitely had to add spice to it. Lots of spice. I am sensitive to pork from time to time so I am glad they had a chicken broth ramen available but it was definitely on the more mellow side. If that seems to be the spice level that they are going for, I can't really knock them for it. I'm just glad there were options such as chili oil and this spicy powder that was on the table to bring it to my preferred level of heat. Overall good experience, will definitely be back.

All seats at the bar were open, but we hoped to sit at a regular (not high-top) table. As it turned out there were a few options in the back. That said, it wasn't long before the place was packed. Our server Tyra was fantastic. Down to earth and helpful with recommendations. She made us feel welcome and comfortable. We started with Jumbo Ebi Shumai. Tyra asked if we wanted a fourth (the dish comes with three) so we wouldn't have to rock-paper-scissors for the third dumpling. I thought they were delicious. I loved the spicy mustard that came with them. I admit they had a slight fishy flavor. I mean it was shrimp and I enjoyed it. Mark is less of a fish fan in general. The dumplings didn't really hit the mark for him. If you like seafood and you like shrimp you should enjoy the Shumai. I opted for Tonkatsu Ramen - Ramen and thick creamy pork broth with roast pork, soft boiled egg, bamboo, wood ear mushroom, ginger and green onion. I added black garlic oil and did not go spicy at all. I thought it was very good and I ate literally every drop. Mark had Spicy Miso Ramen - Ramen and spicy creamy soybean paste pork broth with roast pork, soft boiled egg, bamboo, wood ear mushroom, and green onion. He said it was spicy, which was perfect for him. He also enjoyed his meal and finished every drop. We still had time to kill before the show so we opted for dessert. There were two options - Green Tea or Red Bean Ice Creams. Tyra recommended Red Bean and I'm glad she did. It was sweet with just the slightest crunch from the beans. It was a good size serving, hand dipped by Tyra. The proximity of Zundo to Memorial Hall or Music Hall makes it the perfect pre-show stop for dinner. We will definitely be back.
