    Crispy Duck
    Eljay C.

I came here after work and tried their crispy duck. I didn't think it was that great. Deep fried w/ sweet n' sour sauce and a little dry. If you're paying $23 for duck I would have expected something better like it being roasted and a bit more tender. Overall, it was a good experience.

I want to thank Yelp for helping us find this restaurant. We were craving Thai food and Sushi so my Mr. looked up a couple in the EastGate area and found this. The ratings and menu were very impressive that we had to check it out. So glad we did. Everything from beginning to end was perfect! We dined in on a Friday night. They were steady and had a lot of take out on orders. We were seated and waited on right away. They have everything on this menu. Sushi, appetizers, salads, entrees, bento box, lunch specials, full bar however no specialty drinks. They only serve hot sake not cold. We ordered: Drinks: Pinot Grigio Singha Appetizer: Thai Rolls Dinner: Crispy pad Thai (add tofu) Philadelphia roll Salmon avocado roll The Thai rolls came out first and following the sushi. Both were delicious and paired well with our drinks. We wanted to split the crispy pad Thai. I haven't had one in years. The spice level, medium. It was so good! Not Americanize (sweet) and great flavor. We didn't get to finish the paid Thai because they gave us a lot. So we took the rest home. The restaurant is very clean and open. Very welcoming. The service was great! Attentive and friendly. I cant wait to come back and try something different. I would say they are on my top three for Thai restaurants in the Cincy area.

My lady and I were heading to Eastgate and wanted to get some sushi, so I looked here on Yelp for a good spot, and happened upon this place with some great reviews. Glad I found it because the place was excellent and easy to find. Plus we had more than just the sushi. We stopped by on a Friday night for dinner. The place itself is very nicely decorated and actually reminded me of my time in Thailand many years ago. Can't say that of many Thai restaurants. Their menu is a nice combination of Thai and Japanese cuisine so I'd say they have something virtually anyone can enjoy. They also have a full bar and a good list of libations, but I was a little disappointed by the lack of sake (they only had one hot sake option). All the staff were super friendly and worked as a team. We started out with an order of Thai rolls, a glass of pinot grigio for my lady, and a Singha for me (one of my favorite Thai beers). The rolls came out pretty fast and were very tasty. They were even good without the sweet and sour sauce. After that, we ordered two sushi rolls (one Philadelphia roll and one salmon avocado roll) and an order of crispy pad Thai with tofu (medium spicy). Again, we didn't wait long at all, and everything was delicious. The sushi tasted very fresh and the pad Thai had a nice spicy kick. We both definitely enjoyed the experience and are already planning on going back. I really want to try their rad nar, which is one of my all-time favorite Thai noodle dishes. So maybe I'll try that next time and introduce my lady to what I consider the perfect Thai comfort food. I have a feeling theirs will be good.

So much better than I thought I would be. Crispy duck is a must order. Pad Thai is good everywhere and the rolls are really good also. They were really quick. Ordered on the spot and it took about 12min. Place looks nice inside as well. Would order from again.

We have been coming here for a while now. Each time has been a good experience. Good atmosphere and service, and the food is consistently excellent. Can't miss with the crispy pad thai.

We came here because I was craving Thai food from our move. It was nearby and it looks like it had really good ratings. When we got there I was surprised how fancy the restaurant looked inside lol, I was not expecting that. Anywho the staff was really attentive and our food came out super quick. We ordered the wonton cream cheese crab rangoon and that was pretty good. It came out within like a couple of minutes of ordering and it came out hot. Pretty tasty. My husband and mother-in-law ordered Curry and they both really liked it. My husband really liked his because the sweet potato was something different and he really enjoyed it. My mother-in-law, it was her first time eating Thai food and Thai curry - she really enjoyed it. Her only feedback would be that she would want her veggies to be cooked a bit more and less crunchy, otherwise it was good. I ordered their pad Thai and it was pretty good but what I didn't like was that the noodles were really short. I'm used to long rice noodles so this was kind of new to me. Other than that the flavors were good, I wish it was spicier though because I ordered a level spicy and I didn't really taste any spicy at all. Anywho... nice gem in the Eastgate area if you're looking for some good Thai food.

This is not based on the food "yet." This little cup full of ice of Thai tea is $4. It was bland and watery because y'all filled it up with nothing but Ice. Coming from San Diego and LA. I'm having a hard time finding a good Thai spot out here. Extremely disappointed.

The Pad Thai is superb! The best I've ever had, once a local favorite for me, now is a destination! Service here is impeccable! And Ban Thai has a pleasant atmosphere for lunch that becomes romantic as the sun fades!

After a search on Yelp we landed on Thai Pavillion and I'm so glad we did. Here's why... 1) I ordered on their website and it was a very seamless process. I liked that we were even able to select how spicy we wanted our food on a number scale. 2) The pick up time was not long after we ordered, even with it being in the middle of the busy lunch hour. 3) There's parking directly out front so I was able to simply pull up, throw my flashers on, and run in. It was there waiting for me when I arrived. 4) We both ordered the same thing, the pad Thai (spice level 1) with shrimp. We also shared an order of vegetable spring rolls. It came out to about $50 and that included a $5 tip. We both really liked what we got, but I'll stick with my specific opinion. The spring rolls were crispy and definitely hit the spot as an appetizer. As for the pad Thai, it was a great portion size, the spice level was exactly what I wanted, and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. It didn't have an overwhelming amount of bean sprouts, which was appreciated. The sauce was rich in flavor and the noodles were just right. We both agreed that we would order from here again. It was the best pad Thai I've had in a while. Definitely give them a try!

The restaurant is quaint, yet open, and totally family friendly. Servers are warm and courteous, even when they are slammed during peak dinner time (6:30-8). You get to choose from a Japanese and Thai menu, which contain a wide selection of equally delicious dishes, including fresh Sushi. You get 3 good restaurants in 1! Some dishes we've tried multiple times and recommended based on balanced flavors and consistency are: THAI: Spicy basil pork- has sweet scent of holy basil and abundant sauce. Our favorite to pour over rice. Papaya salad- full of flavor, but be conservative on your spice level selection ranging from 1-10. If you want "medium" spice, go with 2/3. Panang curry- you can choose your meat, but it's traditionally served with beef, which I think it's the best pairing as well. You can never go wrong with Thai curry, unless you order above your spice level ;) Pad see ew- stir fried wide rice noodles, also known as soy sauce noodles, comes with your choice of meat and veggies. Kids love it because noodles are soft and sauce is sweet. Crowd pleaser. JAPANESE: Katsu don- crispy chicken or pork cutlet drenched in sweet & salty sauce mixed with scrambled eggs and caramel used onions served over rice in a bowl. Total comfort Salmon teriyaki- great, nutritionally balanced meal with perfectly grilled salmon basted with teriyaki sauce over rice, and a side of shredded and steamed carrots and zucchini. Never regret ordering this. APPS: shrimp shumai and miso soup SUSHI: Cincy roll, spicy yellowtail, salmon nigiri As you can see, there are a lot of good options here. Go with a bigger group and dine family style to get the most out of your visit.
