Our server, Chloe, introduced herself with a smile and provided us with a quick refresher. I knew from her energy that we were going to be in great hands for the evening. (and I was not wrong, lol) Chloe was personable, attentive, friendly, and down to earth. The service she provided us was excellent! I ordered the Swamp Thing for a cocktail. Sweet, fruity, and pretty... that green cocktail did exactly what it needed to do, lol. FIVE STARS! Now, on to the food... The Gator Bites are a MUST. I ordered the hot honey sauce on the side just to play it safe and I am glad I did, because babyyyy, that spice had no boundaries. If you're a lover of spicy things, you'll be good to order as is, lol! I also ordered the Roasted Oysters. Another MUST! The oysters had a parmesan crust with lemon garlic butter drizzled over them... They were gone in minutes! I was on the fence for my entree, but then my girl Chloe clocked that Pasta Mardi Gras and the rest is history. It was creamy, savory, and packed with flavor. I knew my girl wouldn't let me down! Our experience was excellent! I definitely recommend reservations. Pappadeaux wasn't terribly busy when we arrived, but by the time we finished up & headed out, they had a line out the door. If you're in the Cincy area, add to your foodie list! Overall, a great restaurant for a GNO, date night, or any celebration.

For appetizers, we had the roasted oysters and the hot honey gator bites. Everything was phenomenal. The special had a white wine sauce to die for and everything was wonderfully seasoned, I also had my salmon blackened which was chef's kiss. The gator bites were tender like chicken and the oysters were so flavorful! For the drink, I had the Swamp Thing cocktail and I was happily buzzed after finishing it. It was sweet, refreshing and the alcohol wasn't overpowering. Highly recommend Pappadeaux's if you're ever in the Cincinnati area!!! Customer Service: Chloe was our waitress and she was knowledgeable, sociable, funny and caring. She did a wonderful job in giving recommendations and telling us about the specials. She checked on us consistently and was never overbearing. The staff was timely with the appetizers, and the ebb and flow of the crowd seemed under control and all waiters/waitresses were ensuring orders were correct. Thank you Chloe for the top-tier service!! Ambiance: Pappadeaux's is typically upscale causal to business casual, but everyone is free to come as they are! It is family friendly for all ages. The decor gives an intimate open dining vibe. When it gets busy, it's BUSY. But the wait will be worth it! I guarantee there is something for everybody. This place is perfect for any occasion, celebration, graduation, birthday, date night, family dinner, a day trip - whatever your heart desires. The Cincy location is the best!

We didn't order anything but baskets, clam and whiting. They were better than the Inland Seafood festival on the levee this weekend but still wasn't up to par for the price. More like $6.99 deals instead of $12.99. They also automatically charge 18% gratuity because the neighbors don't like to tip. Sad. The place was clean and amply stocked with digital aquariums (tvs) and seafood decor. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. That's it. That's all.

The staff was friendly and helpful with menu selection. I ordered a grit bowl with the toppings. I also got their favorite lemonade. My family also ordered from the menu. And the dirty gravy is very different- it's hard for me to put in words but it definitely tastes similar to your New Orleans style fish and grits. My only complaint about that meal was that there was not a lot of the dirty sauce. That's what makes the dirty catfish grits its meal so I wish there was more to offer in that regard. The dirty breakfast bowl was good with a proper amount of dirty gravy. My complaint here was that we ordered for the eggs to be scrambled but they fried the eggs. Not a big deal, but definitely check your carry out orders! The salmon croquettes were made very well. No complaints there. However, overall for this meal and the catfish grits- the grits almost taste like instant grits. But they do give you a whole lot of grits. The service was very friendly and welcoming. There's a couple of tables for seating but it's pretty much a carry out restaurant. I see the potential of how great the DirTy BreakfasT can/will be! I will try it again!

First thing first, we got there for an early dinner so the place wasn't packed, with plenty of parking space too outside. We were greeted and seated immediately in one of their booths. I enjoyed the little details they put on their sea-themed decorations, definitely made me smile. The menu was very clear and straight-forward. I wanted to order everything. I got the 1/2 pound of shrimp and crawfish in their buttery garlic sauce, while he got the 1/2 pound of shrimp and crawfish with sides of 1/2 pound of sausages with their Boom sauce (all of their seasonings mixed together: Original/Crafty Cajun, Lemon Pepper, and Buttery Garlic). Man, it was all so juicy and paired well with the sauce - my head wanted to explode from how good every bite was. I gotta say that his Boom seasoning was better-balanced compared to my buttery garlic though, they did the spices right on that Boom sauce. I also ordered the Pina Colada for drink, you can't go wrong with some Pina Colada. It was fantastic, I couldn't be happier with everything. Service was great, there was a minor error with the bill but the server quickly fixed it with no issue when informed. Will I ever go back here? A thousand times yes.

You'd be better off buying calamari from the freezer section at Kroger.

Ordered the Empanadas entree, very good, needs sauce/salsa in my opinion, though. With the creamy sauce from shaddai it was excellent. Ordered super shaddai (4 piece fried chicken) with prepared fries (fries with sauces) and both charro and black beans. Also ordered the Russian salad (carrots either dressing). The chicken was soooo delicious. Super crispy and flavorful. Not greasy. I am pretty picky on fried chicken and this is the best in the area. Hubby agrees! Would skip the Russian salad, not much flavor; needs acid and spice. Hubby loved the saucy fries but I'd have preferred them plain and dipped them in the sauces for the shaddai, which had a creamy spicy sauce that I loved. Plain red Salsa was ok. Loved the verde salsa. Also ordered the cantaloupe melon again fresca and horchata - the horchata was a bit too sweet for me but I just watered it down a little and it was fine. The cantaloupe agua Fresca was delicious! Definitely try it! So fresh and lovely, just enough lime. Will definitely be back, want to try the enchiladas and soup and tacos. A great secret of Fairfield, try it!
