Really cute spot. I appreciate that they mostly have open seating and are friendly. They seem like they take reservations as well because I noticed a few of the labels with signs on them. The food options are lovely and are very large in size imo..we stopped in before dinner. Next time I know yo build in more time since we order the brie and was very filling. Drinks were very good and of course a long list of wines. I'll be back for sure. When I asked about the wine boxes the lady bartender seemed a but apprehensive.. I get it, we are 1st timers but we literally live around the corner. She shared usually thise are for regulars who stop in every few days for a bottle.. totally could be us. But for now, ill visit anytime I'm out for dinner in the area.

Good wine but the food was really good!! Very nice ambiance and good wine. Service was friendly! Looks like you can book their back area for events and also reserving the couch area

We (three adults) walked in on a Friday evening around 7PM and had an absolute blast! We were able to snag a table, but if we had been even three minites late, we may have had to wait. There was live music, which was a really nice surprise! A pianist and a singer. We shared flash fried peppers and warmed mixed nuts. The peppers needed a little more salt, and I was able to get more salt fairly quickly from the staff. They had a decent selection of wine, and the vodka martini I had was nice. I think it's a lovely place to stop by for pre-dinner drinks (i think they had a full menu of heavier foods, not just appetizers if you're wanting something more filling), or after dinner drinks. It's also right by the movie theater, so probably nice for that as well I probably don't need to list all the occasions a drink could be had, hahaha. Friendly staff, casual and welcoming vibes, and a small intimate layout made the place feel really cozy and accessible. I would totally visit again next time I'm in town!

I had a lot of fun here on a Thursday night which happened to be music trivia night. The pianist, Tom, played different songs and you have to figure out the song and an associated trivia question. The bar was really packed but there were still a few open seats. Generous pours of wine and the Castaway pear martini was so tasty. Great locals type spot

We stumbled upon this little bar/restaurant upon waiting for our reservation at x fish, which is right across. KJ was just the sweetest!!! she took her time and explained all the martinis to me and my friend and highly recommended the caramel apple martini. It was sooooo good!! And so strong! Definitely worth it. We only had the drinks but I saw her take out a charcuterie board for another customer and it looked so pretty! We will definitely be coming back. We didn't finish our drinks when our reservation for x fish was ready and she even offered to have a to go cup for us! She was just the sweetest! Highly recommended! The place has the cutest decor as well, so cute for photos. The parking is at the structure across the Ralph's, a lot of parking.

The charcuterie, lemon cello, and castaway martini were all delicious!! The service was quick and the staff were all very kind. The decorations and vibes were so incredibly cute. This place is a must see and we will definitely be back.

The ambiance here is so cute! I love the dim lighting in here. I had tried a couple of drinks and the charcuterie board. Everything was so good. Service was fast and super friendly! I had went on a Thursday which is their trivia night.

This is the perfect spot for a glass of wine and a small bite. There are a great variety of wines to choose from and majority of them appeared to have been from Ca. I think the thing that truly makes this place stand out is the ambiance. This place is straight out of a fairytale and was just so whimsy and beautiful. Highly recommend it in the area.

Took our daughter for her 21st birthday. Loved the vibe as soon as we walked in. Quaint and whimsical decor and intimate interior. We came early on a Wednesday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. Dylan was great. Very attentive and cordial. We ordered the bbq chicken flatbread, Bavarian pretezel with cheese, and the mini charcuterie with our cocktails. Everything was delicious. Daughter might have had too good of a first experience. . Sadly we didn't know about the live music, so we will be planning a return visit.

Very cool little spot with nice vibes. Staff was attentive. Amazing live music around 7pm till 10ish. Come early and ask if you can get a table in front of the piano or try to wait around for one to open. Charcuterie board was good and so were drinks.

We checked out this bar last night and loved it!! Such a cute little spot in downtown Brea where they have live music by Chris the piano man. It's self seating with a great wine selection and full bar. The campfire smores drink was delicious!! My husband got the part time lover which he always enjoyed as well. We loved the live music!! We would most certainly return especially for the music. Loved the atmosphere! Service was great.

Where is parking? Is it hard to find parking?

There is a multi-story parking garage literally across the street.

What time do they close on Sunday?

8pm

Are reservations required?

No. But it helps them staff appropriately so service remains excellent.

Are they 21+?

Yes and no. Bar top is 21+ , the lower tables will be ok for kids. Just remember it's a classy adult space escape .... No one wants loud kids or crying children. A good balance day is their bubbles and brunch on Sundays

The staff are always so attentive and kind and are part of the reason that we keep coming back. We felt the need to speak up for something we witnessed. When we were visiting this Tuesday, September 1st, a bit after happy hour, we couldn't help but overhear how entitled and rude the table next to us was being to our server. I'm someone that has been working in the food and beverage industry for years, but it doesn't take that experience to see that the restaurant was clearly full. Our server was tending to every table on the bar side including ours and was attentive and kind. The table next to us was making a scene and acting like our server was supposed to wait on them hand and foot. We were having a great time and decided to ignore them for a while, but eventually we noticed the gentleman from that table get up and follow our server into the kitchen when she was clearly in the middle of something. She informed him that he could not be in the employee's only area and to that he told her "Shut up, I'm not listening to you anymore". We're not sure if he felt like he had the right to talk to her like this because she's hispanic, but there is no excuse. The staff put up with too much nonsense here. 5 Stars for the craft, the service, and the patience. We've never seen this couple here and we hope to never see them disturb the peace at this establishment again!

We returned with friends and were pleasantly surprised by how lively it felt. The space is still a little tight, but it was filled with younger couple, though maybe I'm just the old person in the room now. In any case, we enjoyed our meal, and the service was excellent. I'm planning to come back and add this restaurant back into our regular rotation. We usually go to Summit House or Brea Chop House, but we'll definitely give this place another try.

Date of visit: Sep 8, 2026…read more What a disappointing birthday dinner. I came here with high hopes of finding one of those hidden-gem, hole-in-the-wall Italian places, but unfortunately, it all ended up blowing up in my face. The biggest problem was simple: everything--from the soup to the main dishes--was way too salty. We were a party of six, and three of us ordered pasta with the garlic cream sauce: the Pescatore, Shrimp & Scallop, and Clam. The sauce wasn't thickened enough, so it was much too soupy for a pasta dish, and the taste of white wine was very prominent. The garlic cream sauce was salty too, although nowhere near as crazy salty as the Chicken Piccata, Tortellini Giovanni, and Minestrone. Chicken Piccata: Like everything else we tried, this dish was just way too salty. The lemon-butter sauce was completely overwhelmed by the capers, and eating it honestly felt like shoveling forkfuls of salt into my mouth. The only saving grace was the chicken itself, which was cooked well and had a nice golden-brown exterior. Tortellini Giovanni: Just okay. I've definitely had better. The cheese filling inside the tortellini wasn't particularly good, although the Italian sausage was pretty tasty. The more I ate, though, the saltier, heavier, and oilier the dish seemed to get. Overall, there was really nothing special about it. Minestrone: SO salty that I couldn't even finish it. I'm not sure if this is simply their recipe or if the soup had been refrigerated and reheated to the point where some of the water had evaporated, leaving the salt increasingly concentrated. It's too bad because the underlying flavor was actually there--it was just completely ruined by the amount of salt. Pizza: Just okay. The dough wasn't bad, and I actually liked that it had some chewiness to it. But for the price, I'd rather go somewhere else. I really wanted to love this place, especially since this was my birthday dinner. I wasn't expecting fancy or perfect--I was hoping for a charming little hole-in-the-wall with really good, comforting Italian food. Unfortunately, we left super disappointed.
