My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Nina's today. We had a large party so it took just a bit to get seated because they were extremely busy. It was well worth the wait. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. To the beautiful young lady who took our order (Jessica) and took care of us throughout our meal, you are hands down the best! You were so kind and made us feel like we were friends of yours! Nina, thank you for coming over to check on us! I love going to Nina's brunch! They have the best omelettes! I was a little frustrated the last time I went because we were charged for a "big party" when there was only 4 adults and 2 small children that were well behaved. There were no messes that had to be cleaned up yet they charged us an additional $15. read more

Very much enjoyed my experience here. In fact, it actually exceeded my expectations! I eat at a lot of breakfast places because I'm in the food business and this place has got it going on!! Every single item we ordered came out perfectly!! The pancakes were so fluffy and some of the best I've ever had. A secret recipe they better hold tight. The chicken and waffles were so delicious and cooked perfectly. Not too much breading on the chicken and very balanced in taste with the waffles. I got the Loaded Hashbrowns w/ added jalapeños. Expecting the jalapeños to be from a jar - but got fresh jalapeños perfectly grilled and they were not too spicy or to weak - perfect. The right amount of cheese and gravy! Delicious!! They have Segafredo coffee which is not found just anywhere but in only the highest quality places! They have a coffee and juice bar as well which we didn't experience but wish we had! This is a family owned business and Nina, her son and his wife run respective parts of the business. It is a very very clean operation! These people know what they are doing!!!!! Fantastic brunch! My sister and I visit different brunch spot every couple of weeks and today we were lucky to find Nina's Brunch in Forney. We were seated quickly and then greeted by Nina. She offered fresh squeezed orange juice. We weren't going to get juice but she made it sound so good we ordered some. And it was very good. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We shared eggs benedict and cinnamon roll french toast. (There were so many choices.) The waitress was kind enough to split the food for us. Both of the entrees were excellent. We had more than enough food. And before we left Nina came back to the table and checked on us. They also have a large lunch menu. I highly recommend Nina's Brunch. read more

Live in the area and love to try new restaurants. Wait was over an hour so I thought food must be great. I was really surprised when I received it. The omelet was extremely dry and the hash browns over brown. The best part was the biscuit. The price was 9.00 plus tax and I ended up taking almost all of it home to my dog. read more

I went to ninas café this morning and had an estimate of 1 hour to hour in a half wait. We were a party of 7 but only three of us were there. About 48 minutes in I received a text that my table was ready. I went in and the MANAGER asked where my party was but it was so packed that they were looking for parking. He told me my table was ready and pointed to the table and to wait on the side. I am 36 weeks pregnant and he didn't care as to let me sit down. I still waited on the side until he would let me know. The owner I believe her name is Nina sweet lady told asked if my party was coming I said yes and I asked if I could sit and she pointed to the same table and said Ofcourse. I went to sit and 3 minutes in the "manager" came and said I had to get up and wait until the whole party was here. I told him that my party was here but they couldn't find parking. He told me that I had to get up and wait because other people have been waiting longer. I told him I had received the text message that my table was ready and that the rest of the party was coming already. I began to be rude and started saying I had to get up and that he had told me to wait on the side. He told me I had to wait for another table to be ready because my party was not there yet. I asked to speak to a manager and he said he was the manager which I was very surprised as in the way he was handling things. My sisters a frequent customers and love this place and when I finally decide to come with them this happens. Such a sad experience very unprofessional and rude because of this experience I will never go again. read more

Visited Nina's Brunch while on vacation and was not familiar with the area. Took a chance and the experience was a highlight of the trip. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. The mimosas were good. The vanilla latte was not too sweet but sweet enough were you could still taste the flavor of the coffee. The coffee was favorable but not too bold.The waffle light and fluffy. The portions are large so bring your appetite. Took my left overs and they heated up well the next day. I almost forgot about those crispy lightly seasoned waffle fries that came out piping hot. I bit into them and they were crispy but bursting with potato. Next time I'm in Forney will stop by for brunch. read more
