Excited I finally live in the area NimNim covers. The app is easy to use and the prices are lower then what I used to pay before. Put in a request for a pick up at 7pm and they were able to pick up at 5. Even with 6 bags of laundry (I have too many clothes) they were able to drop my stuff off by 5pm earlier than the quoted drop off time. All my stuff is folded clean and neatly packed. I have been using Nim Nim since moving to the Seaport three years ago and they have been absolutely great. Their turnaround time and communication has always been fantastic. I don't know how they have always managed 24hrs, etc but they do. We have a lot of laundering and dry cleaning (loads weekly) because of my husband's work clothes plus our building has efficiency washers and dryers which makes drying too time consuming so it is easier to send out sheets, linens, etc. I have always appreciated Nim Nim's service and have tried other services that our building offers and always go back to Nim Nim. read more

I am very sensitive about my shirts, they are my work body armor, I invest in custom tailored shirts and have my initials in them (something from my Dad), and I struggled before to find a reliable service that paid as much attention to them as I do. I have been using NimNim for the last 2 years and I am very pleased, they pick up and deliver when agreed (and when they don't, they let you know), they take care of each shirt in detail, even gave me a textile transporting bag. Will go above and beyond to help ensure dry-cleaning / laundry delivery on time. Easy to use, and will pick up from my building and deliver quickly. Have never had issues with dry cleaning or laundry. Previously used another service, but switched to Nim Nim and am pleased with the ease of use. My one complaint - I would prefer a heavier duty bag, rather than the plastic trash bag option, as the trash bag option keeps ripping. Hopefully they will replace. At both pickup and drop off they tried to come outside the time window I had selected, at drop off specifically he left the clothes outside my apartment an hour and a half before the start time of my pickup window. Then when I opened the bags I realized $150 worth of clothing was missing, I had other people's things, and my sweatshirt was missing it's drawstring for the hood. I was a huge fan of NimNim -- I switched over to using them from Washio in February of 2015 and have used them 2-3 times per month since then. I've noticed that their customer service has sharply declined in the last 1-2 months. Late or missed pick-ups and drop-offs with no notice or apology, and I usually have to reach out to them to figure out where they are and why they are late. I really want to support them and understand that there are growing pains in small businesses all the time, but the customer service just isn't there anymore and I feel like they don't understand that that's the most important part. I've had too many instances of re-arranging my schedule and plans to be home for them to pick-up/drop-off my laundry only to have it not happen, so I'll be looking for a new service. read more

A local on demand dry cleaning service that operates out of an app on your phone, pretty cool! I tried out their service last week and was very happy with it. On my first order they provided me with a high quality laundry bag that will also hold my dress shirts and suits when it is ready. I schedule the pickup on my phone and they have always been prompt and the cleaning to my liking. Giving an update after using a few times. Nim Nim has reached out to dry and address the problems with their service and did make an effort to have a good customer experience. I am overall pleased with the quality of dry cleaning and really impressed with how fast Nim Nim washes the clothes and returns them. It is not unheard of for clothes being finished the same day or the next day which you won't find anywhere else without a huge fee attached to it. They still have issues with coming and returning on the times that you choose on the app but they usually come around in the ball park of time. Best option is to leave your dry cleaning outdoors for them to pick up and for them to drop off. They send you a picture of where they leave so you can find it if you are not home. I will continue to use Nim Nim though I would like for them to be a bit more on point with the times they say they will be coming or at least update the app to reflect the ball park time that pickup and delivery will take place. read more

charged a $20.00 RUSH fee to my account. Per their website, this fee applies to deliveries within 24 hours. Laundry picked up 02/16/22 and just delivered today 02/19/22. At NO TIME did I request RUSH. Support is pretty much non-existent. No response. Looks like I will have to contest this on my credit card. These guys are passionate. We discovered Nim Nim two years ago. The app got me first. I down loaded it, put my information in and they delivered a bag to our door. For two years they have been taking great care of our clothes and exceeding my expectations. I am a bit obsessive about my clothes and these guys take great care of our belongings. I called NimNim because their app was not working to make sure they could do an expedited cleaning and was happy to pay the extra fee. They assured me they could turn it around (22 hours). Didn't get it even within 36 hours and when I was calling their customer service they simply kept saying they would check on it. Never called back so I called them to ask again. They screened my calls and I know this because I called from a different number and then they picked up. It was unreal that they couldn't even tell me when I would get my clothes so I could just plan on not having them. This is not the first time this has happened, I also asked about a wristwatch in my coat jacket and they have not replied. Super frustrating read more

NimNim- where have you been! This is hands down the best concierge service in the city. Had a last minute disaster just before an important black tie event. I won't bore with details but it was a huge mess. NimNim was at my door in 8 mins and- since I could not wait around, they delivers my cleaned tux - spotless and looking sharp- to the hotel in under an hour. Needless to say I've used NimNim exclusively since. My experience with them has always been the same- they are exceptional! The service is consistently great, the employees are friendly, efficient and actually give a #%+^. Since switching to NimNim no more broken buttons, no more wired new and unexplained stains or marks on my clothes, no more missed pickups, no more wondering when drop off will be, no more guessing how much my bill will be. I am very disappointed by Nimnim's service since I was supposed to get my laundry delivered the next day but I did not get it and nor did they try texting or emailing or calling me to inform me when I will get it back. On top of that i could not use the promocode which would have given me $10 discount. Overall very unprofessional. At least if they could not deliver it on time, let me know. read more

Unfortunately I have to update my review for NimNim. In the past year, I have had nothing but issues. They do not show up when they say they are going to, for both pickup and drop-off; their turnaround times have become longer than in years past; my order was delivered to the hotel across the street in error a few months ago and the only reason I knew was the hotel called to inform me; I received another customer's items in my order and they took a week to come back and pick them up after I informed them of the issue; I have been overcharged on several occasions, especially when they don't acknowledge their own coupon codes in the order; sometimes their responses to issues are quick and other times they are ignored; and to add insult to injury, they have now started adding service fees to their orders. I'm not sure if the volume in my building isn't enough to substantiate them coming as frequently or on time, but I wear a uniform for work and require my items to be picked up and delivered when they say they will. Add that to the other issues that have been popping up in the past year and I will now be finding another dry cleaning/shirt laundering service. read more

I have used them 8 times this summer, and they have not once been on-time. I've filed 6 support tickets. The quality of the wash and fold is really good, but their delivery service, which is their only value-add, is absolutely unreliable. I have waited days beyond my scheduled delivery, and their pickup is also sometimes off by a day in either direction (they've tried to pick up 1-2 days early before, and up to 1 day late) which is pretty stressful if you get down to your last pair of underwear... it doesn't help that their support team is largely unresponsive. Overall friendly people and good quality laundry, but I absolutely cannot recommend them at all because every time I use them I'm afraid ill never get my clothes back because it always takes so long to and they never communicate beyond sporadic texts here and there read more

I've used Nim Nim a few times for laundry, but after my most recent experience I have no other choice than to write this review. They lost an irreplaceable college graduation hoodie, a t-shirt, bath towel, two pairs of socks, and two single socks. Any attempts at reaching out to them have either been ignored or just shoved under the carpet, and after over a month there is still no resolution on the table. They have been unable to locate the items, and are not willing to take any steps towards making this right. Seeing how common it is for laundry services, especially Nim Nim (based on other reviews), to lose laundry, I cannot advise anyone strongly enough to look elsewhere. If they do lose anything, which they most likely will, you will never see the item again nor receive any sort of compensation for it. There are plenty other good options in the area to take a risk with this company. read more

I'd give -100 stars if I can. I never give reviews at all before on any restaurants/ service/ public place, but I feel that this one is NECESSARY. 1. My friend dry cleaned his jacket using Nim2's service, and it came back damaged. The writings/ drawings on the jacket disappeared for some reason, and when he emailed Nim2 regarding his complaints, Nim2 never responded his email. EVER. 2. I tried giving Nim2 another chance, I had to use their laundry service because I am currently waiting for my new washing machine. I ordered the laundry for 2pm but they arrived at 7pm. I waited for soooooooo long, and I needed clean clothes. So I walked to the laundromat in front of my house and did half of my laundry there. Stupid of me, I felt bad because I ordered via Nim2 and I dont want to send them back home once they arrive at my place. So, finally at 7pm (after arriving 5 hours late) I decided to give them half of my dirty clothes. And I am only doing this because I want to do a favor for the delivery person and for your company. I don't want to be a person who ordered and then cancelled when the delivery person is already in front of my door. 3. Guess what happened next? They delivered 5 hours late (again), and by this time I'm kinda used to their delay BUT they gave me the wrong stuff. They gave me other people's laundry, they somehow noticed it so they came to my house to pick it up but I was not home, so they left. By the time I got home (which was only 5 minutes after they left according to my concierge), I called them and they promised that they're gonna deliver it soon at about 10 PM. I waited, and the owner called me saying that it's impossible for them to deliver by tonight because the driver is at North End or something and AGAIN they promised they're gonna deliver the my stuff by 8AM the next morning. I said ok but don't deliver after 12PM, MAKE SURE my clean clothes arrive before 12PM. It's 1 PM and they're not here yet....The delivery man said he's 10 minutes away after I called (it's already after 12) but he's still not here yet. So pls guys I dont want anyone to experience this horrible thing that happened to me, thus please do not ever use Nim2. Promise this is going to be the last time I use this service, I have been using it since 2 years ago but lately the service has been horrible. I dont have anymore trust for Nim2 and I am not gonna use it ever again. To Nim2: Please stop making people wait, improve your service if you still want your customers, and dont make promises that you cant keep. They finally did not charge me for this service. read more

I needed two slacks dry cleaned within 48 hours and couldn't resort to my local dry cleaner (who would have taken at least three days). Having had met Akshay (one of the Nim Nim co-founders) a few weeks ago, I thought there was no better time to give this startup a shot! I quickly downloaded the app from the App Store. Its intuitive layout made it extremely easy for me to choose what services I wanted. I was all set within a few minutes. At the chosen time (early on a Saturday morning), a Nim Nim courier arrived exactly on schedule and picked up my slacks from my doorstep. I love the texts they send to notify customers, "NimNim is on its way!" What sets Nim Nim apart from everyone else is their commitment to the customer - they tailor the experience to the customer's specific wishes, especially from a timing and delivery standpoint. A few days later, my order was ready and delivered right to my doorstep, exactly on schedule. The eco-friendly bag that the slacks were returned in was mine to keep, which was a nice surprise.
