This is a fantastic "gem" in the middle of an area not known for it's cuisine. Sure Newburgh has some fantastic Spanish spots but as far a healthy/vegetarian option, not a whole lot out there. Came here on a Friday afternoon with a vegetarian friend for their lunch buffet. Having had experience with Indian food in my family I felt pretty knowledgeable as to what to expect. The food was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious - easily comparable to what I'm used to. For those worried about it being spicy, it wasn't (I'm assuming they keep the spice tamed down for everyone to enjoy). The lunch buffet menu options rotate apparently so any day you come you can try something new. They will start having dinners in the summer but other times of the year are only open for lunches so plan accordingly Staff was friendly and helpful explaining what everything was to my friend. Some other review noted that it was overpriced... Not sure paying $15 is alot to ask for an all you can eat buffet that won't leave you greasier than a car engine and make you gain the dollar amount you spent in weigt afterwards. If that's what you're looking for by all means head over to Golden corral and have yourself something you probably should not be eating

An extremely solid 4 1/2 stars. I am a card-carrying meat eater, but I do love well done vegan…read morefood. I drove over from Kingston, just to have dinner here. I was seated right away. My server True, was very nice and she took very good care of me. When you sit down, they give you their regular menu, but then, they also bring a chalkboard of their specials, right to your table. I decided to go with the pasta marinara with the Un-meatballs. To drink, I ordered a ginger ale. That "ginger ale" was a full on ginger beer. It definitely had the ginger "kick" to it, it was very, very good. My food comes, and it is a huge portion. It came with a nice sized side salad, the lettuce was beautifully, crisp, and I'm not sure what the dressing was, but it was delicious, and it, was dressed just right. Not over, not under. It also came with a garlic bread with a "vegan butter" very well done. The main course, was also very very good. The pasta was perfectly Al dente, and the marinara was very good. It had a rich flavor. The Un-meatballs, I could tell that the texture was a little bit different, but they were 100% delicious. Seasoned oh so very well. If I didn't know, I might have thought they were the "real thing" . The only reason I'm taking away a half a star, was the meatballs were just a little bit cool in the middle. Not enough that they took away from the flavor, but enough that I did notice it. Not worth sending back. Maybe they should double check the meatballs with a thermometer. I took some of my pasta in a to go container, and was about to get my check, but then True asked me if I wanted dessert. The "Apple crumble à la mode" caught my eye. I asked her what they used for the "ice cream" and she said it was a cashew based dessert. Curiosity piqued, I decided to go for it. Wow! A total Home run. The apples were not over sweet, and just had a tiny bit of a " bite" to them. Just right. There was a granola topping, and that "ice cream?" it had a softer consistency, but other than that, it tasted just like the real thing. I would gladly plop down in front of my TV with a giant bowl of that stuff. I jokingly asked True, "are you sure you didn't slip me a scoop of the real stuff?" it was that good... The Price for everything was a bit on the high end, but for the quantity and quality, very reasonable. I will come back. Thank you.

It gets pretty busy but very efficient when ordering drinks at the counter. The space is small and a little crowded at times. I would definitely like to try food next time too!

The Wild is modern and cool and open with a magnificent bar. Banquets line the outer wall in a serpentine wave in cool beiges and neutrals. We ordered the braised cabbage - OMG - with a nori aioli cream. Perfectly cooked and good for a table. We also shared the cashew Caesar - with kale and parmesan - lovely. The short rib was spectacular. A large meaty rib surrounded by polenta with a great taste of tamari. The chicken was delish as well with parsnip puree. So, for 4 people we had 3 mains 1 salad 1 veg and we shared the spiced chocolate creme brulee which was very, very good. We also had a total of 5 glasses of wine - the wine list was great. Oh, the service was incredible. Yes, the bill was over $300 for 4 - well deserved but it's more of a special occasion place for dinner in Beacon. Now, for lunch - that is probably something I would do instead in the upcoming months. This is the place to go for 2026. As Beacon grows so does its sophistication and options. What a wonderful additional to Main Street.
