I visited this store several times in the mid to late 2000s, but I've rarely visited in the 2010s because I have all the clothes I need. However, I did find myself back here recently and the store was pretty much just as I remembered it. While the layout has changed over the years, the overall store design mostly remains the same. There haven't been any significant or major renovations. I like Gap jeans. They fit me well enough, the quality is good enough, they last a long time (many years), they're comfortable, and they're affordably priced. I'm a small guy and Gap carries men's jeans as small as a 28 waist and 28 length. However, most of the smaller (and bigger) sizes aren't carried in stores and must be ordered online. This is what I've had to do most of the time. I did find a particular pair of jeans in my size at the Gap store at Lenox Square years ago, but that was an anomaly. What I've normally ended up doing is ordering online, trying on at home, and returning what doesn't fit or what I don't like at this store in Atlantic Station (since I live in Atlantic Station, it's a very quick trip for me). The returns process has always been fast and easy. At regular price, most of my jeans have cost about $50-70 each, but I've almost always purchased during a special sales offer or promotion or used a coupon. In the end, my jeans have worked out to more like $40 apiece, with free shipping too. I like the different cuts the jeans come in. For example, standard, straight, and slim. They also come in a variety of colors, washes, and styles. Over the past decade, I've opted for the simple darker washes. The color does transfer so you have to wash the jeans a few times which is annoying. It's important to note that not all of the same colors are created equally. For example, I tried on two "indigo" colored jeans, but one pair was noticeably darker than the other. So in actuality, colors between pairs can vary even though the labels might say they're the same color. I've also purchased a belt or two from this store. Like their jeans, Gap's belts last a long time too. Most, if not all, of the employees I've encountered at this store have been nice and helpful. Park in the Atlantic Station parking deck on level P2. It's less trafficky on P2. You can directly access P2 from 16th Street. Parking is free for the first 2 hours.

I was in a bad mood (mostly because I was at Atlantic Station and because no one had what I was looking for), so I honestly wasn't expecting much from Gap - it was mostly just a last ditch effort. I ended up finding exactly what I was looking for for $13 - holy crap! I walked in and was immediately greeted by an employee who walked me over to a sale rack - and I actually found a pair of pants that fit!!! The staff was really nice, the clothes are great, and I was generally impressed. The only negative I could see (other than being in Atlantic Station) was that the store was pretty small.

I've been dedicated to the styles - and brands (translation, the very spendy ones) - that work for my figure, which means in recent years I have been dedicated to never wear skinnies. Well. I got great new boots for Christmas (btw, not BR but BR does have a great shoe selection, and mid-season sales on them), and I thought I just miiiight try some skinnies on this body. Love! I also found a great semi-slouchy cap sleeved sweatshirt like top. Again, love. Right now, BR has lots of good layering pieces like this top, from long sleeve tees, medium and heavier sweaters . . . Big store, with great mens, womens and petites selections. Prices are reasonable to a bit high on most things, but the look is stylish basics with a kick, and again - the sales multiple times a year can really get you some scores (oh, the jewelry selection is particularly good on deals). As a customer of…read moreExpress for over 15 years, I am highly upset of the new third party vendor, BB Dakota, that they use on their site. I placed an order over 2 weeks ago over $200. That order is still in processing and has not shown shipped. I called Express customer service for a refund. Then in return, they tell me since it's a third party vendor they can not process my return and I need to contact BB Dakota on my own, via EMAIL only. Another upsetting action upon Express. You are quick to take my money, however to get it back I need to jump thru other people. I sent the email to BB Dakota. I immediately get a response in what appears to be a generic email they send automatically for refunds, telling me I have to wait 2-3 weeks for an item to be inspected before getting my money back. UNACCEPTABLE! These items haven't even left their facility. I will NEVER order from BB DAKOTA again.

(I have ordered items that are a completely different color then the stock image) So it's nice to be able to see some items in person before ordering (theoretically) but they are far from having a full assortment and I have a hard tome finding items in my size (a 2 - typical 0 but in Ref I'm a 2). I usually have to try a size up and sort of hold it with my hand int he mirror and imaging the correct fit. I have maybe gone in 3 times and actually found the time I am looking for in the color I am looking for where they had a size that is maybe acceptable to try on. So that's frustrating. But I always feel oddly judged and like the employees are judging me. Even when they are nice, I get an odd vibe here in store. I imagine it has to be part of the training, and that maybe they deal with a lot of theft possibly? So maybe judged is the wring word, but watched is maybe more appropriate? It's also never busy. Like I can't remember the last time I was there and there was anyone else shopping with me, which just sort of amplifies that feeling. Also they do not validate. Just a heads up. I previously bought a blue floral maxi dress from their Austin store for my older sister's wedding that made me look snatched so I trusted my gut that I'd find something here. Like the other reviewer, I was a little sad that there wasn't much selection in store. Of what WAS available, I sifted through a few pieces that I found cute! I was aware that inventory differs between locations but I would have preferred there to be a smart screen formatted like a website that allows you to swipe through products. For ex, the Austin store has that installed and you can find things that might not be displayed on the racks. Just something to consider to elevate the customer experience here! Other than that, I spoke with both of the sales associates who were working as I had entered the store close to the end of day. They were both super friendly and gave me multiple recommendations. I came in interested in a shorter green-toned dress. I tried on the two pictured. I felt the dark green one was too similar in style to my other Ref dress and I didn't want another maxi dress (at least not yet). I also didn't realize until after the fact that the lighter green dress I bought was intended to be worn as an off-shoulder dress. Regardless, the sizing was perfect and I looked great in all the photos!
