She's the best of anyone else on The Ridge in my humble opinion. I'm addicted and crave her food at least once/week. When I asked her about some of her ingredients, I found out she uses quality food ingredients such as Rib Eye in her Philly Cheese Steaks and good quality lean hamburger for her burgers. Her fries are always crunchy...I try not to have them too often but they're so good it's difficult. Lol The Patty Wagon moved recently in the 8000 block on Skyway and has many more tables/seating. Plus lots of shade and protection from the rain now. So that's extra nice for me now. I also found out recently that she was one of the first places to open after the Camp Fire. She wanted to help feed all the workers on The Ridge and she also helped feed some people who were literally homeless pro fire. Thank you Janice for toughing it through the difficult financial times and dealing with some of the initial reconstruction.

I'm new to the area so I don't have any previous experiences with the food from before the fire but I will say it was good, not over the top but the type of fare I would expect in a pub. But it arrived hot and appealing. The burger I had was delicious as were the fries. They had a nice selection of craft beers along with a full bar. The ambiance is fun, locals, families, friends getting together for a break away from the everyday so it can get a bit noisy, don't let that deter you.

A specialty of the house are their "thin" pancakes. Crepe-like but not a crepe, it is a pancake and you can get them plain or blueberry, I recommend the blueberry but I'm partial to blueberries. I don't ever order pancakes EVER but, this caught my eye so I gave em a try. I order pancakes now. Well, I order pancakes at Debbie's. Parking can be an issue, they're a small place and parking is limited but thankfully you can park on the street if the lot is full. If you're traveling in this area, this is one of those local gems you definitely don't want to pass on.

And I had a chardonnay and my boyfriend had a margarita. Both were satisfying! We shared the burban burger with fries. The bourbon burger had nice crispy bacon on it and the fries are crunchy and delicious! We also ordered the coconut shrimp ( that was on the happy hour menu) and they were good too! A True Diamond in the Rough!…read more My wife, Jennifer, and I had the pleasure of attending my best friend's wedding and celebrating with him and his beautiful wife in Chico on Saturday. On our drive home Sunday morning, we decided to make a stop in Oroville and try Big Foot Eats. What a fantastic decision! From the moment we walked through the front door, we were warmly greeted and shown to a comfortable booth. The restaurant is spacious, exceptionally clean, and has a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. Then we met Elena, our server--and what a gem she is! Elena was attentive, friendly, genuinely kind, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Since it was our first visit, we asked her about some of their most popular breakfast and lunch dishes. She patiently walked us through the options, and she certainly knew how to make a recommendation! She sold me on the Idaho Omelette--and I'm so glad she did. This delicious creation was packed with bacon, onions, and Cheddar Jack cheese, stuffed with crispy tater tots, drizzled with sour cream, and topped with green onions. Talk about comfort food taken to another level! Jennifer went with the Western Burger, featuring a perfectly cooked beef patty, bacon, American cheese, Bigfoot onions, and a delicious BBQ drizzle. "Scrumdidlieumptious!" is about all we could muster as our taste buds were doing backflips! Every bite of Jennifer's burger was outstanding. The ingredients were top-notch, everything was cooked to perfection, and the combination of flavors was fantastic. My Idaho Omelette was every bit as delicious and satisfying. But what made our experience even more special was Elena herself. She wasn't simply our server--she was a true ambassador for Big Foot Eats. Her warmth and genuine hospitality made us feel like we were visiting an old friend rather than simply stopping in for a meal. We also learned that Elena and her mother run the restaurant together, which made our experience feel even more personal. And, as is so often the case, my wife chose the right place! The food, the hospitality, the atmosphere, and the pride behind Big Foot Eats all came together to create a wonderful experience. I have a feeling the Oroville community already knows what a special place this is, but for those who don't: Big Foot Eats is truly a Diamond in the Rough! I wish they served breakfast all day though, because those breakfast options looked delicious! I ended up ordering an iced banana latte (delicious) and the Loaded Mac and Cheese. The flavors of the meal were delicious! I loved the pulled pork, fried onions and bbq sauce toppings but the dish was a bit of a let down because the Mac and cheese was cold under the toppings. It took awhile for our food to come out so I didn't feel like returning it, but I was a little disappointed. The portion sizes on every meal that our table ordered was huge, I don't think anyone finished their meal so keep in mind you could share and still have plenty! I would not hesitate to visit Bigfoot Eats again, despite my cold noodles, because there's a lot on the menu I'd love to try!
