Honey barbecue steak tips calzone with peppers

You really can't go wrong with Nick's Place . Their menu has a great variety, and delivery is always fast and reliable. I find myself craving their calzone at least two or three times a month, it's just that good. It's definitely a must-try spot. Every time I call, they're polite and professional on the phone. I haven't dined in yet, since I've always ordered delivery, but based on my experience, it's worth going to dine in!

The Shard discovered in the mix

I am Absolutely Disappointed at how the quality of the ingredients in their Greek food. They used to have a delightfully tasty and high quality Feta cheese in which they used to drown their salads in. I'm not entirely sure what they substituted it with is real feta. Also , The Tzatziki sauce in their Gyros seems now more like a watered down miracle whip salad dressing. No flavor nothing much to it. Add to the fact that I had to cease eating my gyro because I found a Hard and Sharp almost glass like plastic shard in the mix. It cut my mouth and hurt my teeth. I was pissed at the lack of quality control in the service . Absolutely unacceptable .

Food was delicious. The plate could have fed four people. 2 big salads were a meal in itself. Our waitress Lucy was very attentive and took great care of us. Best restaurant I've been in in a long time.

The roast beef sandwich was really good here. Ordered it a 3 way and it same warm and very tender.

The "Beat the Clock" pizza deal here is absolutely insane! Every Monday a large cheese pizza pie can range between $4-$9 dependent on the time that you call in for the pie. If you order at 4pm, it's $4. If you order at 5:30, it's $5.30, and so on. Such a brilliant concept! We came in a little after 4pm to pick up a pie and ordering was super easy. They already had stacks and stacks of large pizza pies ready to be picked up. Immediately after ordering we were handed a pie and we were on our way, pizza in hand! Food: The pizza itself isn't anything to write home about (the crust was on the thicker side which isnt my fav) however, the quality is better than I would expect given the price. If I lived closer I would 100% be a Monday pizza pie customer! Can't beat that deal.

To burnt asked for it light

I order from here a lot due to working close by, I order a few times an got some really rude cus service, telling me I'm wrong an I didn't order it that way it, I didn't order it at all. i would like to have a pizza that's cooked thru or not burnt to where I can't eat it. They use to at least ask to due a refund or replace food but not anymore you just waste money because they don't want to be wrong.

Got the Super Beef on an Onion roll, a medium steak fries, and a Greek salad

Literally the best service I've had. Gabriella was there for us with extra cups, ice, and boxes. Our food came out in less than 3-4 minutes. The super beef was the best roast beef sandwich I've ever had. Arby's has nothing on them. The fries were fresh and the food was all plentiful. If I lived here I'd go once a week. Much love to Gabriella and Tony.

"Junior " spinach and feta calzone was fantastic.

Oh my goodness, my favorite spot in Boston area. We go here every time we are in Boston. The food…read moreis delicious, especially that grilled octopus. The flavors are crisp and distinct. They activate all the senses and are wonderful. The tapas style servings seem small but my recommendation is to order many dishes and see which ones you like. Of course if you drink ask the waiter/waitress which wines go with the food. Pairing is great. The service is wonderful and they really take their time talking with you. I especially enjoy the fish here. Something important to me is how people treat my wife who is a different race than me. Many restaurants don't treat her with respect, so I leave and leave a bad review. However, KAVA is excellent treating her and me with great respect even providing free appetizers to try since they were new. When we were there in May, the place was packed but warm and the ambiance reminds you of being with friends and family in a close knit community. Really enjoy coming to the restaurant. Make reservations in the morning for the evening. You will enjoy it.

I especially enjoy coming here in the summer when the outdoor patio is open. It has such a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere and makes for a great meal in the South End. The service has always been very good as well. Definitely a place I'm happy to come back to again and again.

I came here last night with my friend after an event in the Seaport area. We went around 8:30 pm…read morewhich meant street parking was free and thankfully we found one around the corner a few feet away. They do offer outdoor seating but given that it was slightly drizzling and extremely windy, we stayed inside. We sat at the bar and I ordered Nick's world famous cocktail ($18) while she ordered the afterglow ($20). Nick's was a little thick and almost had the consistency of a puree. It was not too strong or sweet but still fruity tasting. Instead of a garnish, there was a picture of a Nick clothe pinned to the side. We weren't too hungry, so we ordered a couple of small plates: the tuna tartare and the feta 2.0. This place is actually perfect for snacking / light meals since their menu is a modern take on "Meze," or small shareable plates (think tapas). The tuna tartare was incredible. The fish, cucumbers and tomatoes tasted very fresh, but the star of the show was definitely the sauce which I think was a mixture of ponzu, togarashi, and cilantro tzatziki. It was spicy, but slightly creamy, but very herby and light. I loved that the pita chips were crispy; they paired well with the dish and they brought out a good ratio of chips to tartare. The feta cheese was also good. It was wrapped in crispy phyllo and topped with honey and sesame seeds. The honey provided a slight sweetness but not enough to overpower the salty and sharp taste of the fresh feta. This plate does not come with anything which was kind of odd so we asked for pita on the side. I wish we had asked for warm pita, or baked pita because it was a little dry. I was impressed with the flavors and quality of each dish as well as the attention of the servers and staff. There's a relaxed vibe as the lights are dim and interior design is classy.

Not a vegan friendly restaurant. One of us is vegan so I called ahead and asked if they had any vegan options. They said yes, and that the server would help us pick out items. Our first server was very nice but timid and did not check on our table much however at shift change we got a very confident, quick server who we loved. Just like the servers, our first drinks took over 20 minutes to come out despite there only being 4 other tables but our second round was much quicker. What we ordered: -Limani Chips 4.5/5: super crispy alternating zucchini and egg plant with a thick tzatziki dip highly recommend -Feta wrapped Phyllo 2/5: not enough honey, idk didn't end up being very interesting -Ceviche 10/5: my boyfriend said this is some of the best he's had, super super fresh and good portion -Lamb chops 4/5: cooked well and tasty but a little dry and maybe needed a fun sauce to stand out? The fries were thick and crispy - Halibut 4.6/5: beautiful presentation, super fresh, fish was cooked really well and I loved the seasonal veggie selection I just wish it had more of the olive oil/pesto sauce

A very popular, long-established Greek restaurant in Boston. Last time I walked in and was told…read morethere would be a two-hour wait, but this time I made a reservation and finally got to enjoy a delicious meal! Tiropita Rolls: Very straightforwardly delicious. The bread was warm, soft, and airy, with a rich aroma of butter and cheese; the spread was a rich blend of honey butter, and olives, sweet and delicious, perfect as an appetizer. Tzatziki: A slight disappointment. The cucumber and Greek yogurt spread was surprisingly heavy, a bit cloying, and the pickled kumquats weren't as sweet as I expected, but rather had a slightly bitter taste. The pita bread was thick and soft, probably better suited for dipping in soup--like Bourdeto--than for the spread. Bourdeto: The tomato fish soup was a pleasant surprise. The freshly caught grouper of the day was thick and tender, lightly seared to create a crispy crust. The broth was a vibrant, tangy tomato base, with onions, fennels, and red peppers contributing a sweet, layered flavor. Trahanas, fermented wheat and dairy, added richness and a smooth texture to the soup. The broth also had a slight spiciness, making it incredibly comforting on a chilly autumn day. Portokalopita: The dessert that elevated the entire meal. A traditional Greek orange phyllo, the cake, made from crumbs of phyllo pastry, becomes incredibly soft and moist after being soaked in orange syrup. Every bite was bursting with rich orange sweetness and fragrance, followed by a slightly bitter orange zest--perfectly balanced. Paired with Manouri cheese ice cream, the creamy flavor was incredibly rich and creamy, creating a harmonious and layered flavor profile.

We chose to sit outside; it was a chilly fall evening when we went last year, but we got some lap blankets which was a nice touch, so brownie points for service. My friend and I split the pastitsio (meat pasta dish), kotopoulo (a chicken dish), louza charcuterie, and tiropita (halloumi rolls). The rolls were stuffed with halloumi and were dense in the best way possible. Coupled with the louza charcuterie, the appetizers were a hit. The two entrees were small but mighty - they were packed with rich meats but also featured microgreens, herbs, and other tangy, bold flavors that really balanced the dishes. We got some glasses of Greek orange wine that I can't remember the name of but it paired excellently with the food per our waitress's recommendation. Overall, a solid Greek option if you're in Back Bay! But definitely make a reservation if you can.
