Prior to the surgery I developed excruciating back pain and brutal sciatica pain. My back was overcompensating for the bad shoulder for years, doing all the work, and the muscles were petrified in a state of flex. I had had chiropractors, physicians injections, a team of massage therapists, Physical Therapy, you name it nothing loosened it up. The Physical Therapy definitely helped and eased the degree of pain though! Fast forward, the shoulder has been operated on but the back, shoulder, and neck pain still lingers... albeit the sciatica was gone! I have done a tour of massage places (spas) what have you in this area I must have hit each one at least once... Cindy was the first to give me some hope the back wouldn't be like this forever. I felt a little pop and it felt like such a relief I can't explain it. It took a few visits but I can turn to my left now without excruciating pain. I'm also doing core exercises and stretches everyday that focus on eleviating back pain but I'd been doing most of them all along, the only variable is Cindy. Give it a try! The two ladies took us in, you get ready in the room and after a couple minutes your masseuses come thru and get started. Now deep tissue was an extra $20 for the couple, we said sure, honestly didn't look at the price list but we went with the promo for couples massage. Not sure if that's just the standard Thai massage. The ladies went straight to work and i just say, they are some super strong ladies haha. I was in so much pain from the deep tissue massage that i was sore in my upper back / shoulders and calves for the next 2 days. I guess you can say no pain no gain. Definitely felt better. The calves hurt like hell when she was working out the tightness, i almost kicked her off haha. Overall one of the better deep tissue massages I've had in a long time.
