She also charged me for a double hem since my dress was lined however, she never hemmed the lining of my dress but charged me for it. She offered to do it again but there was absolutely no way I was going to risk it. I also took it back to show the lady...all of a sudden she couldn't understand me, gas lighted me accusing me of bringing in a different dress (not the original) and told me she didn't do this work! She is awful! Workmanship is unacceptable and I had to have it re-hemmed elsewhere. AVOID Binh's tailoring! Please don't make the same mistake I made. I'm now hearing more and more people who have had similar experiences with Binh's. How they are still in business I have no idea. And her cash only policy is not forthcoming or honest. I will never ever go back.

We were both told it would be an extra $30 each for overnight. Since when do you charge the customer when you make the mistake. When we talked he was very adamant that the extra charge was going to happen even though the suit size was wrong. How can I argue when the wedding was the next day. What bothered me most was the inconsistency in how customers were treated. I was told that I had to pay the full amount upfront before any work would be done, but while I was there, another customer was told she could pay when she picked up her clothes. The pricing also seemed arbitrary, and I was given the impression that prices were being made up as they went along rather than following a clear, consistent policy. Being treated differently from other customers and spoken to disrespectfully left a very bad impression. Customer service should be fair and consistent for everyone. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here, and I would not recommend this business.

A couple of times, the alterations were very subpar. She will blame you, the customer, for her errors. The last pair of pants I took in were to be brought in around the waist by a couple of inches. They were still way too big. She tersely told me that "This happens all the time" that I tell her where I need the waistline to be and then not be happy about it. So untrue and happened only two times and it was completely her poor work. I just walked out knowing I would never come back. Bad manners, so-so quality of work and her below average English is not a reason to patronize her. Take your money and clothes somewhere else.

They were thorough about the alterations needed and their service was fantastic. I went to them in the first week of August and they had the dress ready in three weeks, in time for the wedding. While the dress wasn't ready when I went in, they kindly delivered it home as I couldn't go back the next day. Regarding the price, they did charge me a higher amount than expected (I'm a graduate student on a limited salary), they were better priced than the other places I checked out. Also, they are a cash-only place. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I'm glad I chose right! And a huge thanks to my friend who recommended them.
