That pandemic weight gain, you know? The wedding was in 2 weeks. I messaged many tailors and only 2 got back to me. One said no, and Binh said yes. He was super nice and understanding. 1. She has no idea about pricing: without looking at the job she eyed me and blurted out "$15". I started to leave, she then she abruptly said "$5". 2. The job was the sewing of a small hole in the top of the chest on a nice light pink sweater. When I got back she put on a blotch of inappropriate thick bright pink thread that ruined the whole sweater. Rather than make her pay for the sweater, I just took it and left. 3. Called on a Wednesday to see if they could hem some pants for me for a wedding I have to attend on Saturday (so pickup Friday). Said no problem, just a small extra fee, swung in and was in and out in 5mins and he had the pants pinned up to the right height. Very displeased. I am new to the area and needed to have alterations done on a bridesmaid dress. I needed the dress taken up an inch or two on the bottom (two layers of fabric) and the chest area sewn up about an inch or two. $105 for the whole thing! I have never in my life paid so much for alterations! The owner was rude, not communicative and the service was not worth the outrageous price. My alterations came out great but the dress was incredibly wrinkled, something I wouldn't expect when paying so much. The owner did not tell me she takes cash only, so I had to leave to grab the money and come back. Compared to other local alteration shops, I was very disappointed. I was hoping to find a new go to spot. This place is not it. I'm only sharing this experience because I decided on this place after seeing the great reviews on yelp! Very puzzled by that.. read more

20/10 this place is a hidden gem. Took 3 button ups here that I was ready to donate because of their fit and Binh not only understood exactly what I wanted, he executed everything timely, affordably, and perfectly! These shirts are now a favorite of mine! He also tailored a dress for me and by tailored i mean he took it in, added an extra button, and sewed together a weird leg slit. We dropped my daughters prom dress off two weeks ago. This was a $500 dollar dress with lots of detail, layers, sequins, etc. he finished in two weeks and hemmed and shortened the straps perfectly. I am happy with the price. Don't be confused when you pull up to a tech store- he has a set up right in the front. Very friendly, but cash only would be my only downside. We will be back! read more

Before coming here, I was aware that most places offering hemming services do not work with leather/faux leather. I stopped by and asked her if she was comfortable working with faux leather and she told me she was. I was also in a time crunch as I needed this done before a last minute trip. She told me she could get it done before my trip and she did. HOWEVER, she did a terrible job with my hem. It was not evenly sewn therefore leaving my hem bubbling on both sides. The communication online was good and smooth, but the tailor at the store was not very friendly which gave a bit unpleasant feeling. She did an ok job with the hemming of the pants, and we are not sure if we would return in the future. read more

So, it's very small and inside Tech Heroes, but the tailor is friendly, available, and helpful. I had some iron-on patches that didn't work and wanted them stitched on some harder to do places; he had all 4 done in about 20 min or less from when I walked in the door. I called Men's Warehouse and they wouldn't even bother considering sewing my patches on. I will definitely come back for my future needs. read more

I came to get a suit and pair of jeans altered, and I was happy with everything. The pricing was good -- $10 to shorten my pants, $20 to take in my suit jacket -- and it took about a week. When I tried everything on, it looked perfect, and he steamed it for me, too. I took two blazers and a pair of jeans to be taken in. Very minimal work needed to be done. One of the jackets had to be done fairly last minute (4 days notice) and he said it was no problem. I went in on the day he told me I could pick it up and he hadn't started on it yet...however, he apologized and tailored it while I waited and had me out the door in 20 minutes. It looked great, too! I went to pick up the rest of my items a week later and the only complaint I have is that he only takes cash. NO check or card. This was a bit frustrating, as I was running around town trying to find an ATM. Prices were a little high for the amount of work I needed done, I wish he set prices based on that, but each piece turned out well. read more

This was my first time at Bihn's Tailoring and with few tailoring businesses, I decided to give this place a try. I brought in three items - one formal dress, a one piece business-like dress, and a skirt. These pieces all vary in quality, material and style. I was a bit concerned at first, but after receiving my three items I have to say I am very impressed. The stitching was done well and the measurements were done meticulously and accurately.
