The Christmas holiday went by and soon it was the end of January with still no call. At first I didn't think the timeline was odd because of the holiday. I called for a status update and could not get a clear answer. Eventually after multiple calls I was able to reach the tailor in March... who informed me that there were no instructions for the alteration so nothing had been done. I attempted to explain the alteration over the phone but was told that I needed to explain the job in person and that I needed to make an appointment. I made the 45 minute drive to the "appointment" where the tailor was hostile, gave me my jacket, and told me to leave. Also they lied about dry cleaning it, which I would have paid for. So in summary they had my jacket for 4 months, did absolutely nothing and returned it to me in the same condition it was left. At least they didn't ruin it or lose it.

Ready next day or in 2 days. I went to one alteration/dry clean place near us and it asked for 14, for 1 week, with the man not very friendly. Surprisingly that place got pretty high reviews!

It had a lovely draped bodice and very short train. Joyce made it fit perfectly and added a nice little hook for the train so I'd have a tiny little bustle after the ceremony (I felt like a bright-blue bride!). She was not the friendliest woman, but the tailoring was perfect, done when promised, and I thought the price was outstanding (compared to what a fellow bridesmaid paid out in the boonies for similar work). I would go there again with any formal wear without hesitation.
