I dropped off a jacket in December for a significant alteration job. I gave clear instructions to the attendant working and was told to expect a call back shortly. The Christmas holiday went by and soon it was the end of January with still no call. At first I didn't think the timeline was odd because of the holiday. I called for a status update and could not get a clear answer. Eventually after multiple calls I was able to reach the tailor in March... who informed me that there were no instructions for the alteration so nothing had been done. I attempted to explain the alteration over the phone but was told that I needed to explain the job in person and that I needed to make an appointment. I made the 45 minute drive to the "appointment" where the tailor was hostile, gave me my jacket, and told me to leave. Also they lied about dry cleaning it, which I would have paid for. So in summary they had my jacket for 4 months, did absolutely nothing and returned it to me in the same condition it was left. At least they didn't ruin it or lose it. read more

Although I was satisfied with the quality of their work and the presentation upon pick up, I find their prices to be exorbitant. I paid more to clean one of my blouses than what I initially paid for the blouse itself, which is ridiculous! read more

WORST PLACE EVER - AVOID AT ALL COSTS This place ruined my wedding dress and then robbed me for it. I was quoted no more than $300, but when I picked it up they demanded $519--an extra $219 for "steaming" that they NEVER mentioned. They refused to give me my dress until I paid. The alterations were a joke--my dress was NOT shortened at all, so I stepped on it all night. The train buttons were cheap garbage that kept falling off, even though she told me days before she had better ones. She blamed me for bringing it in "less than two weeks before" and used that as an excuse for her sloppy, lazy work. Unprofessional. Dishonest. Horrible quality. They ruined one of the most important days of my life. Writing this a year after my service with Ms. Maria... I took my blanket in to be dry cleaned. I was desperate and so thankful they promised a two day turn around. Upon coming in with my Ugg Comforter (folded in a black bag) Ms. Maria asked if there were any stains. I told her no and she advised when the blanket would be ready. I picked up the blanket when she told me to. I thought it was weird that it was folded to where the top of the comforter was not showing, but in a rush I just went home. Upon making my bed, I saw a few brown stains on my comforter and called immediately- they weren't there when I dropped it off to be cleaned... and they really shouldn't be there after being "cleaned". I was told to bring the comforter in by another person via text. Ms. Maria was in the front of the store and took my comforter and maintained that they were not responsible for the stain. I reminded her of my answer of "no" when she asked if there was any stains on the blanket. She then replied that "She didn't see it so she couldn't tell if that was the case." The gaslight and attitude was unexceptable. SO- after a breif back and forth and her realizing she was in the wrong, she offered to attempt to get the stain out. She advised me to come back in 3 days. I came back when she told me to and the blanket wasn't even ready. I drove one hour both ways only to have to come back. There was no call or communication advising the comforter was not ready. I go back a day after she advised the second time and called before I left to ensure the blanket was ready. It was and when I picked it up, it was folded with the top of the comforter facing the outside. She said the stain was makeup.... I don't do my makeup in my room or near my blanket- SO WHERE DID IT COME FROM? Thankfully the comforter was not damaged, but I don't beleive it was cleaned well and the customer service was terrible... so much so that again- after almost a year to date I am writing this review. read more

Brought in a Pottery Barn linen drape to have one spot removed. Draper came back with at least 10 spots of mold/mildew and large areas of dirty skid marks. It also shrunk by 10 percent. Attempted to get a refund and payment for half of the damaged drape. NOPE! Reported business to the state. Ended up out $125 for the cleaning bill and $300 to replace the drapery. Good Luck. I went for the first time to this cleaners because the blazer I wore recently had a yellowish stain around the collar. I rarely wear the blazer so did not notice before. Maria said she could get the stain out by means of using a series of chemicals, from weaker to stronger. She was so knowledgeable and friendly! She warned me that because this blazer was black with white collar and cuffs, there was some danger of the colors bleeding. I said it was worth the risk and appreciated the warning. I picked up the blazer today and it looks absolutely brand new! The price was much lower than I expected. Gorgeous! And the blazer is 25 years old! I will use Master Cleaners exclusively from now on. read more

This lovely woman actually just saved my wedding dress with less than 24 hrs before the wedding, all with a smile on her face and reassuring us, and then charged us nothing for saving the day!!!!! I will be bringing all my dry cleaning and alterations to her from now on: best ever!!! read more

I went there do have my a pair of slacks and shirts to get cleaned. I have a shirt with padded stars on the shirt, and those stars cannot be ironed directly, I told them specially DO NOT IRON ON THE STARS OR THEY MIGHT BE FLATTEN, I'm sure I made myself clear. But when I got my shirts and slacks back, those padded stars are FLATTEN, I told you specifically and they did it anyway. For my slacks, they're $900, just bought them 1 month ago, they did a great job on removing the stain, but they ripped a piece of fabric off the waist. For all of my shirts, they did a terrible job on ironing, there were multiple wrinkles everywhere on my shirts, so I had to steam them one by one to fix all the wrinkles from them. They just seem don't care about your clothes, if you have clothes that you really like need to be cleaned, MASTER CLEANERS is not a place that I would recommend. read more

I typically don't ever leave bad reviews (we all make mistakes here and there) but I'd thought I'd give others an honest review and warning. Shirts were ruined not once, not twice, but the 3rd time I had to give up on this small business. Tried to reason with owner that something in their process or work must not be done properly for me to constantly have broken buttons, weird marks, and ultimately holes in my shirts. Even gave the owner an opportunity to right their wrongs but she refused. Taking my business elsewhere and for folks reading this good luck if you end up choosing this place for your dry cleaning needs. You were warned. read more

Great service! I have now taken 2 dresses here to be altered, and I'm very pleased with their alterations. Both were about $35 to be hemmed and one was an additional $25 for shortening tricky lace straps. I've had dresses shortened or altered at other dry cleaners, and these prices are extremely reasonable. They do a very nice job and are prompt. I've worked with the woman who does alterations as well as a few different people at the front desk, and everyone has been very friendly. read more

Went here to get my wool coat liner, pocket, and buttons repaired and to have it dry cleaned. The owner gave me a quote right there and they even had a coupon on their website. She was very friendly and had the work done sooner than she stated! My coat looked brand new! I will definitely return for future cleaning and alterations. read more
