Was visiting the town and was hungry. Saw some pictures on yelp and thought they looked interesting so we stopped by to eat. Looking from the outside, thought it was a nice big place but when you walked in, it was two restaurants in one building. Once you walked in, you can see the restaurant filled with smoke from the grilling and I mean, smoke was everywhere. Not sure if they have a vent to suck up the smoke from the grilling but you knew once you were in there, you're coming back out smelling like the grill. You would think they had the section blocked off but the grilling was cooked basically next to the tables where people would be eating. The next con I notice was the tables. It was sticky and the staff didn't seem to come wipe it down when customers were done eating. Felt nasty. Onto the food, the sandwhich was really good. Lots of flavor and they stuffed it up. I was craving a sandwich today and decided on Nguyen's Kitchen, specifically their Garlic Chicken Breast Sandwich. One word: AMAZING. Also, it's a pretty big size for what you pay, keep that in mind. The chicken is mixed in a creamy garlic sauce and sits between perfectly baked, yet light, bread. They also put a small slice of cucumber in the sandwich, too. You also get this creamy, spicy sauce that goes perfect on the chicken. It's not too spicy, but just enough for some added flavor. The service is quick there, too. I didn't wait very long for my food and yet it was still quality. The cashiers/service team are kind, too. While the first half of the sandwich was very satisfying, I ended up putting some of the garlic sauce on my second half and OMG!! The garlic sauce made the sandwich even better and brought out all the flavors to a perfection. All the ingredients were fresh and paired well together. Such an amazing spot for a quick meal. You really can't go wrong with any of their menu items. Every item is so flavorful. We both got the Garlic Noodles with Grilled Pork and Vietnamese coffee. The garlic noodles are pretty good, with perfect portions, and plenty of pork on top. I love the pork, it's tender and sweet, but the noodles are just okay. I love my noodles on the firmer side and this one is a little overcooked. Perfect place for late night snacks after Disneyland. The food is delicious and always made to order and always very hot. The vermicelli bowl was delicious. Very good portion size for the price. The garlic fries was excellent very fresh and hot. Even though it got soggy by the time we got back to the hotel the fries were still very good soggy. The shrimp was okay and the noodles themselves felt a bit oily. But the flavor was good. The crawfish pasta was AMAZING 9/10. I loved the sauce and the sausage and crawfish! The noodles were chewy and soft. Finally the pork banh mi I would rate a 7.5/10. I wish the bread was crispy, but the bun was soft and the meat had good flavor. The noodles were average but the pieces of pork were really fatty. The sauce on the side was weirdly sweet. I wish there were veggies in the garlic noodles and if I had realized there wasn't, I probably would have added that to my dish. The banh mi ($9.95) was also average - other places are better. There were no napkins in the place - there was a big roll of paper towel that people had to rip off if they wanted a napkin. We had planned to return to the park after eating, but we all ended up in a food coma and headed back to the hotel instead. Ordering at the front was easy, and the staff was quick and friendly. The noodles and chicken were both super dry and there wasn't really any sauce in the dish. It did come with a sauce on the side, not sure what it was, but it ended up being really spicy for me. One of the worst and most disgusting dining experiences I've ever had. We just left and I feel disgusted after my boyfriend told me he saw a worker prop his feet up on the kitchen prepping table. We got with my family and all the tables and chairs were dirty with food and tables were all sticky. It took a few minutes of me trying to get someone's attention (we were the only ones in there ready to order) to get someone to clean the tables. A very rude gu came out with hot liquid in a water pitcher and proceeded to pour it directly onto the tables and wiped it down with a wet rag (which only moved the liquid around and didn't absorb anything). After saving our table for last, he left with the water still on the table and at this point it has dripped down all over the chairs that I had to go grab a bunch of paper towels to wipe our table and chairs so my family could sit. He then came back with a broom and started using the same broom they use in floors to brush off the chairs that I just cleaned! The tables were still sticky and at that point our food was done and we didn't feel comfortable even eating it but just dropped over $200 collectively on so we ate. We asked for a high chair for the baby and went to grab it ourselves and had to use 6 wipes to clean the high chair (which was also sticky and left all 6 wipes dark gray after using) The food was mediocre that none of us finished and after we cleaned up after ourselves and was preparing to leave, the same rude server yelled from the kitchen for us to put the high chair back. There were only three visible employees working and all three seemed to really hate their job and clearly do not want to be there. The owner really needs to pull cameras and look at how their employees are running their business. If the owner is reading this, pull the cameras for Sunday, September 1st at 2:30 as evidence of disgusting experience. Crawfish pasta: 5/5 - my fave dish of them all. The flavors caught me by surprise as it had a slightly sweet taste to it. The sausages added a nice touch that kind of reminded of me the sausages used in filipino spaghetti. Bulgogi bowl: 3/5 we loved the portion and the amount of pickled veggies that came on the side, as found the bulgogi to be slightly lacking in flavor. Still devoured it anyways though. Came at 1:30 am and this place was packed but the wait for my food wasn't bad at all (~10 mins). Ordered the bulgogi short rib sandwich for $13 and was well worth my money. Flavor was so good and food was filling for so cheap!! I've gotten the egg rolls and sliders as well, the sliders were so cheap for being so delicious.
