Called them about pool service since I have seen their trucks in my neighborhood. So first you get a message that says "pick one of the following or you may get disconnected". Forget talking to anyone. Then you leave a message that is supposed to be returned within 24 hours. While waiting I secured three other estimates and got someone I am really comfortable with. I was referred Nexus by my pool guy saying that they are great with technical pool issues. I have had a problem with my pool lights not syncing properly and was not able to figure it out online. I spoke with Logan on the phone and within 10 minutes or so he was able to help me get my lights reprogrammed properly and working perfectly! Did it without even charging me too! Stay away from this company. The service has been an absolute disaster. They were contracted to help us with energy efficiency and installed one of the new variable speed motors. However, the tech that came out for the installation left a huge mess in the backyard. When I was asking him about instructions on programming he said look it up on the internet and left. Since the pump was installed it has been one problem after another. Have an air leak that they're blaming on my system and not the installation. I have been working with this set of equipment for 20 years and have never had any problems until this recent service. Owner was confrontational when approached. STAY AWAY! read more

I recently had a Nature2 mineral cartridge housing that sprung a leak on my 7 year old Rondo Pool. I called Leslie first, their technicians were almost a full week out, not to mention that when you call their (800) number you speak to someone across the country... Not knowing any pool repair/service companies I turned to Yelp for answers, and by this time my pool water was in need of help from the pump not running for a week. I came across S.O.S. Pool repair. Sheila answered the phone, was local and truly wanted to help. Her technicians were also extremely busy and we're going to be another 3 days out, but she recommended Nexus Pool Care in Queen Creek. I called and spoke to the owner Trent, he had someone out to fix my N2 problem the same day. They also discovered I had a broken auto filler and replaced it as well. Since then, Nexus has been maintaining and servicing my pool on a weekly basis. They are extremely knowledgable and email me a weekly report that shows all chemical levels and states if it is safe to swim in. I am extremely happy with the service and expertise of Trent and his team, and highly recommend their services! read more

My experience was great at first, then they canceled services for me "due to route changes" yet my neighbors were still on the route. Come to find out it was because they didn't want to work with me, but didn't have the balls to say that, because it is not justified. I am a fair and honest guy - I do ask questions about my pool, pressures & chemicals as needed. I guess they want a silent customer and someone who doesn't ask questions or care about anything. They are very quick to respond when we have any questions. They are very organized and on top of all the yearly needed maintenance. My service with Nexus pool care started out great. However, I started noticing my pool being dirty right after service, baskets not emptied out right after service. Filters being overdue for a cleaning and no mention of needed service by Nexus. Ultimately, the service tech was comeing over and doing the bare minimum, if that at all. In addition, my in-laws are home and said the service person would be in and out in less than 5 minutes. I attempted to address these concerns with Logan, the owner. He is a very reasonable. However, the service tech continued to provide bad/rushed service. I even had Nexus acid wash my pool only to see stains appear on the floor one month after the acid wash. When I took care of my pool, I did a better job than that. I paid $95 for the convenience of having someone else do it but I guess at the end it did not work out that way with Nexus. That said, the owner did spot treat the stains that formed and got most out. He went out of his way to make things right even though the relationship between customer/company was irreparable. I initially went with Nexus because a coworker recommended them and because of their good reviews on google. However, I learned shortly after contracting them that they give discounts to customers that leave 5 star ratings. That's disappointing. I hope Nexus is able to obtain quality staff that actually takes care of their customer's pools. I apologize about the 2 star rating but you took my money for a long time and did not provide the service I paid for. So this rating is well justified. Two stars because at the end the owner tried to make things right. read more

I have used Nexus for my weekly pool service for over a year. Unfortunately the quality of service has gone down hill. They use to spend time cleaning and scrubbing, along with going though the equipment to verify everything was functional. Now they spend 4- 6 mins top and leave. The guy that has been doing the service spends more time in his truck writing the report that gets emailed to me then he does on the pool. They are also on the high side with their prices compared to other companies. read more

Couldn't be happier with this company. Not only is my pool looking fantastic, but they send weekly reports on the pool as I am out of state and in the process of selling the property. Trent and his team have been very responsive to any questions and gave me options when I needed a repair. You don't see customer service and a strong work ethic like this much these days! They provide automated service logs, same day estimates/notification for repairs and are always able to provide the most up to date information on products that keep our pools in tip-top shape. I thought they did an ok job. I was told they would brush the sides as well as skim the top...the basics. Time and time again we would sit at our window and watch them. Maybe 1 out of every 10 times they would brush the pool. Every now and then they would skim it. I called the owner and he said the brush it every time ...that he as a GPS on every one of there trucks to know how much time was spent at each house. I guess he didn't know they would just go back and sit in their pickup until enough time passed. Also, we asked him if he could set the timer for the cleaner while he was here...that would be $75 extra. We saw this was just a small fish in a large pond trying to make an extra buck. We let them go and could not be happier with the way the pool looks now. Buyer beware! read more

Nexus Pool Care did a great job on my pool. They provided weekly reports and provided fair opinions on whether something really needed to be replaced or repaired. They always cleaned up after any repairs. When I called for any reason they always picked up and took the time to answer questions I had.
