When we first came into the store, Henry was so thorough in his explanation of the different features of the spa we were interested in purchasing. The electrician (Nick) and the landscape person who installed our patio extension(Jose) who were recommended to us by Henry and Jeremy were also terrific. Once we had the spa delivered, I had some questions about some of the features of the tub, chemicals, as well as a small issue with one of the diverters that was leaking. I drove over to Southwest Spa to speak to someone in person, and Jeremy was kind enough to take the time to answer my questions, and also instructed me how to fix the diverter leak when I got home, and it worked perfectly after that. Easy-peasy! Having our own spa at our home has been on my husband and my bucket list for YEARS. We are so happy we were finally able to make it happen with the assistance of Southwest Spas!

I needed to get my household goods out of their storage quickly to stop the situation from getting worse. Just-In Time Moving was gracious enough to fit me into their schedule last minute. Their office was communicative, their estimate was thorough and clear, and the final bill matched what they estimated. The crew showed up on time, communicated throughout the day, and was professional, careful, and kind. This was not a simple move. They had to unload my furniture and belongings from storage crates, unwrap items that had been wrapped by the prior mover, take care with everything, rewrap my furniture, load it, transport it, and unload it into my new storage unit. They completed the entire job in 7.5 hours. By comparison, the prior mover had tried to bill me 16.5 hours for the move into storage alone. Just-In Time Moving did a fantastic job, and I am extremely grateful they were willing to help me on short notice. After the experience I had before them, their professionalism, clear communication, and honest billing meant everything. My advice to anyone hiring movers: read all reviews carefully, do not take online ratings at face value, check whether the company is listed with moversaz.org, review BBB ratings, and read how the company responds to 1-star and 2-star reviews. So, I was getting a new dryer and decided it would be a good time to clean out my dryer lint vent…read more I ordered a kit with a round brush and some flexible rods that you attach to a drill and feed through the vent to clean out the lint. Sounds simple enough, right? So the flexible rods that screw together unfortunately separate while I'm using the drill and the brush and several of the rods are stuck inside the duct. I watch a YouTube video explaining how to remove it (it apparently happens frequently) by buying additional rods and attaching a "corkscrew" made from a wire hanger which you feed into the duct by hand to hopefully "grab" onto the brush and pull it out. You guessed it, that got stuck too. I called King Air Duct Cleaning and Lance (the owner) assured me that he understood the issue and he would be able to squeeze me in so I could start using my new dryer. Lance was here this morning and he was amazing. Within 20 minutes he had both of the pieces removed from the duct and all of the built-up lint cleared. Then he hooked up my new dryer, tested the airflow and assured me everything was good to go! And the cost was about 1/3 of what I thought it would be! Highly recommended!!!

I am so impressed with the work I had done by AZ Oasis Pools! They drained & rebalanced the pool, cleaned the filters, fixed a broken pop up and cleaned the tile. The last company I used to drain my pool drained the water and then left it for 3 days so all of the dirt from the water sat on the pool floor and baked in. When they did return all they did was turn the water on to fill it so we were left with a huge black stain at the bottom of the pool. AZ Oasis vacuumed out all of the debris, sprayed down the entire pool surface and made sure it was thoroughly cleaned before starting to fill. I would highly recommend AZ Oasis to anyone and will be looking into using them first my routine maintenance as well. read more

The quality of service has been consistently poor -- it feels like the pool techs rush through jobs and cut corners instead of doing things correctly. On top of that, the communication is terrible. Trying to reach anyone is nearly impossible; calling them turns into a constant game of phone tag, and responses are either delayed or nonexistent. Scheduling is another major issue. They show up at completely random times with zero notice -- no heads-up, no consistent service day, nothing. That alone makes it incredibly difficult to plan around, especially if you have pets or a busy schedule. To make matters worse, they've complained about animals on the property, yet they don't provide any notification before arriving. That lack of communication makes their complaints feel completely unreasonable. The biggest problem, though, is that they ended up damaging my pool and have refused to take accountability or work toward any kind of resolution. That's where this goes from frustrating to unacceptable. Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor communication, inconsistent scheduling, and refusal to resolve issues make this a company I would not recommend. If you care about your pool and want reliable service, I would look elsewhere.

We have had a dirt pile in the corner of our pool for over 3 weeks now that has not been cleaned (I have photos with time/date stamps). Our pool level has been way too high for 6 weeks causing the pool to leak through the top and causing damage to our travertine and surrounding trees and plants. Checking the pool level and auto leveler is NOT a part of their service we have come to find out. Which in the opinions of 3 other companies, is routine maintenance. This is a shame as we loved working with Kenny when we first moved here a few years back. Once Kenny left, our services from this company have been on a down hill spiral. The pool equipment has had a leak for quite some time now which could have been easily identified by any pool technician that performs routine maintenance. This company is not recommended.

Update 2026: After 3 years I've terminated service with Tartan Pools. This last half year has been…read morenothing but problems for us. Vacuum busted, no big deal I get it things break but it took the tech 3 weeks to notice the vacuum wasn't working. It wasn't until I noticed a bunch of debris on the pool floor and then I had to notify THEM to come fix it. They recommended one other than the Pool Vergneugen and that thing just never worked, then replaced with a Vergneugen and it worked right away. Now just recently they cleaned the filter and recommended to replace it. Not only did they charge for the cleaning, but the charge to replace the four filters was over $630. The filters themselves are $200-300 depending on if you want to get them online or through Shasta Pools. Would've gave em the $100 most people want to install new filters, but I'm sure as hell not paying $750+ between a cleaning of filters that should've been replaced and then paying on top of that to get them replaced. Our pool is a cartridge system, so literally all they have to do is empty the skimmer baskets, balance chemicals, and ensure the vacuum is working properly. I don't have the extra maintenance of a sand filter and the system is hooked up to automation. We've been having an issue with the system running with air in it for about a month now. Paid for a flapper repair and they said everything was all fixed. Spoiler alert: it was not. They just don't care to validate that the system is working properly after a repair is done as long as they get paid. Today the main pump is running bone dry so I had to shut it down. I love Dominic as a person. I still to this day would trust him if HE did the repairs, but he doesn't do it anymore......and his office staff are clearly lacking on holding techs to satisfactory repairs. Very sad I liked this company.

After getting 8 quotes with prices all over the place, Jimmy stood out immediately--quick to respond, personable, and clear about exactly what needed to be done. He came out the next day, confirmed the work, and gave me a fair and final quote. At the same time, I was dealing with a pool service company that kept breaking our flat-rate agreement and overcharging me for chemicals I likely didn't need. Jimmy went the extra mile--testing my water himself and even running a sample to Leslie's. He identified extremely high copper and hardness levels and explained why the pool needed to be drained--something the other company never mentioned. Jimmy offered to fully drain, clean, refill, and balance the pool for a very reasonable price, and had it crystal clear within three days. That level of honesty and service sealed it--I fired the other company and hired Aqua Vision for ongoing service, even though they charge a little more. It's worth every penny for the transparency and professionalism. I'll be recommending Jimmy to all my friends and neighbors--this is the kind of service every pool owner deserves.

I was able to send some pictures of our system so they had an idea of what we have prior to the appointment as well, which I thought was awesome. The pool tech who came out was as knowledgeable and really nice. He explained what he was doing and what he thought the issue was with our filter. He gave us some options, and even found a cheaper price on the part we needed, and went and got it to bring back to fix our filter. He came right back, got everything switched out and then showed us what to do. We got a follow up message a couple days later making sure everything was working great, which is was (and still is)! Our pool is sparkling now :) 100% would recommend them to others!

Overall picture of pool and the brick on the hot tub overflow…read more The main point is the overflow from the hot tub. I selected the brick as I thought it would look good. After install there were supposed to be some stainless steel inserts on the sides of the overflow to keep the water directed into the pool and not running off to the sides. They didn't install and "J" said later if I wanted them they would put them on. The water did run off to the sides and I chose to leave it as at that time the chlorinated brick was not noticeable The problem, which would have been nice as a warning as this was my first pool, was the bleaching and color distortion on the brick. The brick keeps on shaving/chipping off into the pool which is a pain. And if you see the closeup pictures you can see how bad the bleaching is. I want to have the brick pulled off and replace with tile. Called and told "B" the issue and left a message for Kevin at Caribbean pools on February 24, 2026 to see if they could do it at a discount and I pay for some of it. No call back even to discuss. You would think with all their "extensive" pool experience, they would have warned me about the brick looking bad after a couple years, I would have gone with tile, which is easier to clean and it would not be falling into the pool constantly. Even during the construction, it took him forever to get crews out here and I had to call quite a few times and then when the company came over to get the pool turned on, it wouldn't work. Turns out the electrician, that Caribbean used, didn't even hook up the wiring to the controls. So luckily, there was a person that didn't have anything going on that Saturday and he came out. And he had to put three wires in about ten feet long each, or so, they get to pool started. Pool was finally operational on April 6, 2021. I had to constantly call and harp on them, to get crews out here and do the work, and then they couldn't even get it started.The brick looks like garbage now so I wouldn't recommend them if they can't even give me straight forward advice or even call me to talk to me about this, give me a little discount or something.
