On moving day, I was stuck in traffic and took me longer to arrive than expected. I called them to let them know and they informed me that the crew start their clock upon arrival at the destination unfortunately and had to pay extra time, but I understood. Before they even arrived, I got a tracking link to follow their location just like Uber, which immediately made me feel at ease. Crisanto and his crew showed up right on time and were incredible. They worked quickly but carefully, wrapping all of my furniture and somehow managing three giant mirrors without a single issue. Not one complaint and not one moment of stress. What really stood out was how above and beyond they went. They helped me figure out which part of my couch would actually fit in my space, laid out my rugs, and organized everything so I could still move around my studio comfortably. Also shoutout to one of the crew members who was on his first day. You truly could not tell. The whole team was professional, efficient, and just genuinely great to work with. But Movers and Packers gave me a a flat quote! Included the uhaul, gas, mileage, tax, blankets, tape and shrink wrap! $249 for 2 hours!! That's probably cause we were moving some furniture given to us as a gift vs moving a studio of stuff. Heaviest items were the washer, dryer, and long tv stand. They nicely wrapped it with blankets and tape. And they were able to do it the same day, Wednesday, at night too (7pm)! Most companies allow 5pm the latest. We gave cash of course. We added in 20% tip. They did such a fab job, well deserved, hopefully that was good in industry standards. We were really lucky to find these guys. Vinny and Edward were super friendly, genuinely good guys. They even helped move my mom's other tv stand over just to replace it with the new stand. And when the dining table didn't fit through the front door, they offered to un-assemble but we were too lazy. If you are deciding whether or not to book them take this review as a sign that you should NEVER work with them and go with another company. I had gone with them for my move because I had used them last year. And even though the move last year was mediocre (late arrival, workers spending time to use my bathroom without asking, slow communication, etc) I still decided to go with them because they gave a really nice return customer discount which was far below all of the other quotes that I saw around. When I first started to communicate with them everything was going pretty well. Communication was quick and I had all my questions answered quickly and efficiently. However, after I paid my deposit and COI charges everything went downhill from there. I had worked it out with David before to have my COIs sent out ASAP due to the request of my buildings since I was told they usually send out the COIs 1-2 days before a move. They were able to send out the COIs early last year during my other move so I knew it was possible albeit they were also very laggy on that last year as well but still got done. David told me to message him a weekend two weeks before my move to make sure my COIs were sent out which I did with no answer. I gave them till the following Monday and still no message after asking again. After some badgering I finally received a message on Wednesday saying he would check in with me by tomorrow and let me know. And still no update or answer. This went on till the next Monday where I never received an answer to a simple "Is my COI sent out like you promised" question. During this whole time I am pretty sure they were fielding my calls as well because I was always sent straight to voicemail. Finally, after no actual response and no idea what was going to happen with a move that was seeming to probably never happen I asked them directly if this move was going to happen and never received a response. So that forced me to find another moving company around 4 days before my move. Which really amplified my anxiety on top of an already stressful situation such as moving. This whole situation just felt like such a scam - they got their money and completely ghosted and did not give any service or just basic communication. They handled this situation so unprofessionally. Heed this warning and NEVER work with Clean Cut Moving.
