Relatively clean but the person I had recently was so rough that I jumped a few times during the pedicure and said it was painful. She basically says what's your problem? Do you want a pedicure or not??!! That's a bad attitude! read more

Love my nails. They always do a good job here. Whenever I get a new set I take a pic and post it up here so they have more pictures of the work for everyone to see. read more

Newtown Nail Spa - Chrome gel set - Nail Salons Near Me - Newtown, Connecticut

Love this place. My MIL introduced me to this nail salon a few months ago. I just recently moved from CA to CT and have been here at least once a month for the last few months. The people are super nice and they do a great job at pampering you. I usually get a gel mani/regular pedi and haven't been disappointed. Many times while you are getting the manicure, they will also give you a back rub/neck rub at the same time which is nice. They offer chair massages and waxing services as well. read more

Newtown Nail Spa - Red gel manicure. I like my nails short - Nail Salons Near Me - Newtown, Connecticut

Great place to get your nails done! Make an appointment and enjoy the pampering! Reasonable prices and very friendly workers. Been going here for quite a while and will continue into the future! read more

First off I see there aren't many recent reviews... Took my daughter here for a mani/pedi for her homecoming dance and decided what the heck dad will get a mani with her! Decided to come here because my girlfriend recommended it as she's always had good service and been happy with the results. Who knew a mani could be so enjoyable and relaxing?! Nail trim, cleaning underneath, filing, buffing, even a paraffin dip! Woohoo! I appreciated the attention to detail on my manly working mans hands and they came out looking and feeling great! Even got a nice brief shoulder & neck massage! Ahhhhhhh! My daughters nails came out great and she was very pleased. Friendly staff from the man at the front counter to the 2-3 ladies that worked on us both. :) read more

I live in Fairfield, but I was in Newtown yesterday and desperately needed a fresh UV gel manicure. Booked a same-day appointment and received the best manicure of my life from Ingrid, who was professional and friendly and meticulous. It took an hour and $60 which is more than I'm used to paying for UV gel manicure, but in my opinion, it was worth every penny, my nails look amazing! From now on, I will make the drive to newtown to get my nails done every two weeks. Thank you, Ingrid! read more

Located Newtown Nail Spa through Google. Immediately greeted upon entering salon. Clean environment. Friendly staff. Took advantage of Green Tea spa pedicure. Jelly massage left me feeling rejuvenated. read more

Always a top notch job. Conscientious and clean! I've been coming here for several years and love the quality of the nails and the attentiveness of the staff. They are concerned for the hygiene and health of the nail as well as the beauty of the work they do. They offer so many options for nails. I always get UV gel nails and usually gel polish too. It never comes off and lasts so long. Even when I have gone way too long due to my schedule, my nails still lasted far longer than they should. Thank you for consistent perfection! read more

Have been to some five star spa resorts and Newtown Nails remains far superior with all of their services! Have fallen asleep often during a fabulous Italian spa pedicure! read more

I'm from out of town (Boston) and wanted to get my nails done on a Friday afternoon. It was 1pm and they were quite crowded but got me in immediately! My boyfriend's mother recommended Newtown Nails and they are longtime loyal customers. I went with a regular pedicure and a gel manicure and was not disappointed! The quality of the pedicure for the price was incredible. There's a massaging chair, free paraffin treatment, and you get a stone massage. They were very sweet considering this was my first pedicure in 8 months and my feet were a disaster. The manicure went well too but I did get cut twice in the cuticles pretty badly and days later I'm still experiencing issues and had to cover up my beautiful manicure with bandaids. I give it five stars because they were truly great and I even got a shoulder/back massage while getting by manicure; nonetheless I was bummed not to have a few dollars knocked off the $35 price tag. I will probably go with a regular manicure next time since it's something like $12. But the gel has stayed on for 4 days so far with no chipping or discoloration so major credit to them there. IMPORTANT: Bring cash for tips. I knew ahead of time because of my boyfriend's mom, luckily. read more

Walked in and walked out. Well first I waited for about 2/3 minutes nobody even turned their head to say hi can we help you? I well never go back. Service and greeting your customers are very important. read more

First time there last weekend and it was the worst gel manicure I've ever gotten. Should last 2 weeks and 6 days in, 3 nails peeled right off. A $10 regular mani would have lasted longer than this waste of $35 garbage. Also, I watched as every customer there except me got a massage. read more

Newtown Nail Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Newtown, Connecticut

I have been going to Newtown Nail Spa for years and never have had a problem. The women who work their are so friendly, do a fabulous job. I get the UV gel extensions with gel polish on my nails and occasionally one will break or start to separate from the nail. No matter how long I have had them on they will always fix it real quick free of charge! Was sad when I couldn't go here while at college but happy I am back! read more

This is a great place in a plaza next to Big Y. A group of 6 ladies went to the salon last Saturday morning, for our friend's wedding that was later in the day. We got a few different services done- I got a 20 minute chair massage (really great and she even used a hot stone at the end), while some of the other girls got mani/pedis or just manis. The pedicure chairs are fabulous with massage built in, I sat in one and got some extra massage in while I waited. The mani/pedis all come with parrafin treatment & neck & shoulder massage, which is nice. The prices are pretty good -$12 for manicure and $25 for a 20 minute chair massage, and $25 for pedicure. This place is owned by Koreans, and by my experience those spas tend to be very clean and neat, and this one was the same. All of the people who worked there were very friendly. We were all pretty pleased and they got all of us out of there in an hour or so. If i'm back in the area I'd definitely come to this place again! read more

I went last week and had powder manicure. Over priced by at least 10.00$. The women took way longer than necessary. My nails are already chipping. Never has that happened before. read more

Do NOT get powder extension nails here. I had a terrible experience. The powder went on clumpy and un-even not to mention the shape of my nail was terrible. After trying over and over again they finally gave me gel and didn't charge me extra which is the only reason I gave two stars instead of one. They are not experienced with acrylics or powder so if that's what you are looking for this is NOT the nail spa for you. read more

I love coming here for my pampering! Suzy and Jack are like a part of my family now. All of the technicians are very friendly and attentive. I love to bring my grown daughters with me. We are never rushed, we are offered refreshments and of course the best mani/pedi in the state. Best prices and the cleanest spa around. Thank you for consistently being the best!! read more

I love this place. The spa pedicure with hot stone and massage is my favorite :) but what keeps me driving back is the clean, relaxed environment and friendly staff! read more

Will Not be going back. Went there with my daughters and felt rushed through the entire process. Two teenagers walked in the door and they were immediately given attention for neck massages (while they were sitting and getting their nails done) however no one walked over to me or my daughters the whole time we were there. Staff seemed disinterested and tired. With all the nail salons around and so much competition, more attention should be given to the customer. (especially when they were not bust and there were seven technicians sitting around, most of them playing on their phones.) NOT worth $140 for one adult and two "kids" manicure/pedicures. (Not even the spa kind) read more

I hadn't been to this salon in years, so when my friend said she had a gift certificate and wanted company, I thought why not? Now I remember why I never went here. I got a regular manicure while my friend got a gel manicure. We were both in and out of there in 20 minutes. From start to finish, my manicure took 10 minutes. That's absolutely ridiculous. People come to nail spas for a relaxing, leisured time. The woman that was doing my nails seemed so rushed and disinterested in what she was doing, the shape of my nails are completely uneven and the paint was just slopped on. I will not be back again. (I highly recommend toe toe nails in Bethel, cheaper and prime service) read more

I continually return here for my pedicure but unfortunately I have to stop. When I get a pedicure, I want to be pampered and I would like it to last more than 10 minutes. I continued to go thinking maybe they would change but they haven't. Even when they aren't busy, it's in and out. I was in Boston, in July and went to a nail salon for a pedicure, it was amazing. I was treated like a queen. That was just a normal pedicure, I didn't have to spend upwards to $80 for a special pedicure. The price was the exact same that I pay in Newtown. I'm sorry but you need to change Newtown Nail Spa. I won't be back. :( read more

Best place BY FAR for mani pedis. Super clean, friendly, welcoming and they do a superb job. Won't go anywhere else.

Friendly owners, Suzy and Jack. Clean facilities and great pedicures. I never feel rushed and they get me in right away, even when I'm a drop in. read more

The green tea pedicure is AMAZING! Prices are reasonable and definitely worth treating yourself!

I am very upset at the service I received. My pedicure was short and and I did not receive a foot or leg massage. The woman next to me had the same complaints. Great location but I will go somewhere else. read more

The nail tech cut my toe with her cuticle scissors and acted like nothing happened. She finished the pedicure but it began to bleed so the owner administered first aid. I refused to pay for my pedicure and they became upset. No one apologized for their mistake. Their customer service was horrible. read more
