I finally tried this new place out due to everyone bragging about their soups. I must say their soups are phenomenal! BUT everybody left out the salads! The HUGEST and BEST salad I have ever tasted - and I have tried them all! The freshness is like they have their own garden in the back of the restaurant! The size is to die for! I got a to-go order here and when I came to pick up they noticed instead of half salad they had given me half mac n cheese. Not only did they correct the mistake, they gave me the mac n cheese with no extra charge and included deserts no charge as well. I've only been here twice but I left both times full and happy. I tried the lobster and crab bisque today and while it wasn't bad, I found out that I'm just not a bisque person. I'm also not a pizza person but there's something about personal pizzas that scream EAT ME so I ordered 'The Debra' which I have to say was great with a touch of Sriracha. Pesto pizza is so much better than tomato paste pizzas!!! My boyfriend got the club sandwich and four cheese mac&cheese (he loves mac&cheese) and he really enjoyed his meal. The sweet tea isn't very sweet so that was a little disappointing BUT my favorite part about Newks is their little buffet of pickles, bread sticks, croutons, garlic, and so on. Tried the Newk's Eatery by Katy during lunch and loved it. Definitely would go back. Its more of a Deli place; you can order half a sandwich with a soup or salad like most deli places have. Definitely recommend their salads, they are huge and so good. They also use romaine lettuce not the iceberg type which is a difference for me. Their broccoli and cheddar soup is really good, definite must try. My friend ordered the vegetarian pizza, WOW! best pizza I have ever seen. The veggie pizza has huge artichoke pieces and huge pieces of veggies, definite worth the price. read more

You can't go wrong with Newk's, they have something for everyone and no one ever complains about the food!! I always get the Newk's favorite which is a salad that is ginormous and there is always leftovers. The pizza is actually pretty good, as I have tried my kid's plates, just to see. The food is always fresh and you never have to wait too long, even when they are busy. Love the condiment bar where you can get olives and capers! Parking would be my only complaint because everything stays busy in that shopping center. read more

I have been an avid Newk's fan for a few years now and had a craving for their food today, was slightly disappointed with this location. I bought Mac and cheese along with the corn and crab soup, both were prepared perfectly and tasted delicious. I also decided to buy one of the Caesar salads from the grab and go section, quick drive home so it wasn't left out. Went to open it and was quickly overcome by a rancid smell, I was a little taken aback but thought maybe I was being picky. Loaded up some lettuce and a sliver of chicken on my fork and dipped it in the dressing and wasn't even able to chew once before having to spit it out. I'm quite disappointed with the grab and go section, I'd make sure to open whatever you pick and smell to make sure it's fresh otherwise you'll end up spending money only to be let down. The fresh food was much better but still disappointed that I've wasted money on inedible food. read more

We go to Newk's all the time. We love it! We always receive our order right and the food is always fresh. We love the chicken salad sandwiches and caesar salad. The chicken salad is so good you don't need the bread. However, the french bread is so good. The sweet tea is really good too. The teenage workers are very nice and always have a friendly face. Newk's has great salads and sandwhiches. We love going there. The salads are huge but their sandwhich aren't as big. I like the caesar salad, turkey sandwich, and the macaroni and cheese. Pricing is above average. It gets expensive when going with the whole family. They bring the food to your table but you have to get your own drinks/refills. It can get pretty loud and busy at times so we try to avoid peak times. read more

This place it's a good place to get soup and sandwiches. We paid $19 for lunch. Good mac and cheese. Chicken salad sandwich was given to us on toasted bread. It was pretty good. Got a side salad which was actually more than just lettuce. It had tomatoes, carrot, cuke and croutons. They have a condiment bar where you can get breadsticks, pickles, etc. Kind of like Cafe Express. Big salads. Pizza looked good but we didn't try it. Kid friendly. The desserts look awesome. Sick of this! Every time I order a SMALL salad they deliver a large salad. I tell them I ordered a small. They say I paid for a large. And say "oh, would you like me to return it and bring you your money back". If I were to say yes it would make me look petty and cheap to my party. And my party would feel bad not sitting around while their food got cold waiting for my replacement. Stupid question! Horrible service!!!
