When I say New York Pizza in Mountain View knows how to do it BIG, I mean it literally. We came for the King Kong slices and these things are no joke--easily bigger than my hand (pics don't lie). I went half on the Combination and Meat Lovers, and both were stacked. The Combination was loaded with fresh veggies, melty cheese, and just the right amount of sausage and pepperoni--every bite felt balanced, not soggy or greasy. The Meat Lovers? Pure comfort. Hearty, flavorful, and the kind of slice that makes you forget you were "just gonna eat one." My son called it the best pizza he's had in a while, and honestly, I can't argue with him. When the kid approves, you know it's real. The shop itself is small but has enough tables to sit and enjoy. We were told 15 minutes for our food, but it came out quicker than that. Staff was super friendly, and I loved watching the constant flow of delivery drivers running in and out--it's always a good sign when a place is that in demand. They had a $0 delivery on "deals" when I ordered it added $6.49 delivery fee. I immediately cancelled order and it only gave me $17 of a $38.50 charge. 40 minutes with support to get a refund, they stated delivery fee was for "dash pass" which is totally untrue (see attached pics). Been to New York Pizza several times and it always hit the spot for a late night craving. They offer individual slices for all flavors with the slices being pretty large. My favorites are the pepperoni and the sausage pizza: both are really flavorful and the tomato sauce is not as tangy which makes it even more enjoyable. One of the best New York style pizza in the area! They have many options, sizes, and items. They make it fresh for every order and are usually very fast. Their King Kong sized whole pizza is huge when we need to feed a lot of people. I usually opt for a large size for family dinner nights. It's not a big store since most people take out but there is some space to seat indoors. Parking lot is shared strip mall but parking is limited near the pizza shop since cars are always parked there on that side. This is my go to pizza spot when we have any event! read more

This is not what you would call pizza at all. The pizza was supposedly thin crust but it didn't have those crispy edges that thin crust is famous for. When I opened the box I was taken aback by the tremendous amount of grease that was floating on top of the pizza. It didn't really have cheese. The pepperoni was unrecognizable and the hamburger was a few lumps of small black balls. It was absolutely inedible. We threw it out. Don't patronize this place. Its that two part pizza, where the crust and the toppings slide right off each other leaving you with a flopping cheese topping hanging out of your mouth. After a terrible experience at Tony's Slice House Mountain View. (My review is posted on their yelp page). My family and I decided to give NYP a try. Let me start of by saying the service was amazing. The cashier took his time with us and even made suggestions on how we could save some $. Fantastic! We ordered a few slices, a large mixed combo and a few other items. Despite the cooks looking extremely busy they managed to have our food served to us within 15 minutes! The pizza was loaded of fresh toppings and did not lack in flavor or cheese. The under carriage was Crispy from tip to crust and the sauce had just the right tang. I highly recommend giving NYP a try especially if you want to be treated as if your business is wanted and appreciated. See you next Sunday! read more

Found another solid pizza place in South Bay!! The dough was good, cooked just right, sauce was good and I liked that it was a little bit on the heavier side. The pizza wasn't flimsy and held together well with toppings. There was also some seasoning of some kind with a hint of garlic that I loved. Sausage was delicious and dolloped on like little baby meatballs. My kids loved the pizza and the 6 yr old inhaled 4 slices! The pizza here is delicious! Toppings are fresh and generous. New York style is the way to go, of course. The crust is so good! Love that it's not too oily. There's a variety of pizzas to choose from and you can easily order it online/on the app (super user friendly and I believe there are rewards if you use the app). I custom built 2 pizzas to get the exact toppings I wanted + it actually came out a little cheaper than choosing a specialty and I got 3-4 toppings. My closest comparison would probably be Round Table or Mountain Mikes, but with a better crust. They pack the pizza with toppings, and you can get some tasty combinations like chicken alfredo. Truly gourmet pizza. They delivered pretty quickly to our studio and the pizza was delicious. It is on the expensive side but that's about what you pay for Round Table or Mountain Mike's anyway.
