There is so much to look at and the decor is incredible, from the wallpaper to the books selected to display. I love that there are options for beer drinkers and non-beer drinkers alike, with 10+ beers on tap, cocktails, cider, wine, bourbon, boozy slushies, and n/a options like pop and kombucha. On our first visit, Nate and I shared a flight to get a sense of the beer - we'd been to the Holland location previously, but it had been several years. We enjoyed all 6 of the pours we tried, which is rare for me! My favorite was the sour. The next time we stopped by, I tried one of the boozy slushies which was a bourbon peach and so delicious. It tasted like a fresh peach and wasn't overly boozy, which I appreciated since it was a nightcap for me. As others have mentioned, they don't serve food, but they don't have to since the food trucks are right outside the side door (try anything from Pacific Moon - so good). I will also agree that the menu chalkboard is currently pretty hard to read, but they said they are waiting on a light to install to help with that. While we understand they were closing in about an hour, the way we were treated felt unprofessional. We ordered one sandwich--the Hash Slingin' Slasher--and handed over our card to start a tab. From the start, we felt unwelcome. We sat in a corner and were being stared at by other customers, who appeared to be regulars & family members. The difference in treatment between them and us was striking. Most concerning was the young bartender, whose behavior was clearly unprofessional. She was rude and dismissive toward us, yet extremely friendly, upbeat, and attentive to everyone else. This made the atmosphere tense and uncomfortable for first-time guests. Around 7:06 PM, an older couple arrived. The staff greeted them warmly with smiles and even hugs. They had no issues ordering food, were asked about drinks, and were made to feel welcome. Meanwhile, we were rushed, ignored, and never asked about drinks. When I went up to order a mocktail, a bottle of peach sangria to go, and a box for our sandwich, all conversation stopped. Multiple regulars & family members turned and stared at me--it wasn't subtle. My fiancée noticed it too. It didn't feel like a "closing soon" situation; it felt exclusionary. We had stopped by once before near closing time and met Nicholas, who was very kind--that's why we came back. Sadly, his kindness couldn't overcome the unprofessional behavior and uncomfortable atmosphere. The canned meads are excellent, the bottled wines are solid, and the food itself was good, but the overall experience left us feeling unwelcome.

I was impressed. I enjoyed an IPA and then a Porter, and had the Cheez'lizcious sandwich. The beer was excellent and their take on a grilled cheese sandwich was yummy! Our server finally showed up. Took 5 mins to get water and another 10 to get our drink order. Then 40 mins latter still no food. The people who sat behind us arrived after us had their food and by the time we got our food they were done. All the while our server never came to our table. I flagged a busboy asked him to find our server and asked to see a manager. By this time we had already been there over an hour. The shift manager show up before our food and rather than apologize for the poor service he proceeded to tell us the excuses for why our food has taken so long. I finally got tired of his excuses I said "stop making excuses and get us our food". A few minutes later the food showed up. No silverware, salt/pepper, ketchup or drink refills. Again asked a bus person to help. Waitress never came back. After a few minutes the General Manager came out accused us of being disrespectful to his server and shift manager and proceeded to start swearing at us. We never said anything to the server and the only thing I said to the shift manager was stop making excuses and get our food. The GM again never acknowledged the poor service and accused us of swearing and being disrespectful. Never listened to us and asked us to leave. He threatened to physically remove me rather than listen to how bad the service was ‍ Incompetence at all levels. Save your time and money.

Absolutely delicious but could have been hotter in temperature. We split a GF Goat Cheese and sausage pizza. Unfortunately the first one they brought out was raw in the middle so we waited for a second one which was better but not great. For $25, you can pick steak, chicken, or birria tacos; you can mix and match any way you like, so we got 2 steak and 8 birria. It comes with cilantro and onions and salsa roja and verde. I was told the birria tacos were the same as the quesabirria, but just know that for this Tuesdays special, they're not -- it is only the birria taco meat with consommé on the side, no cheese or taco shells dipped in the consommé. UPDATE: My fiancé went back here with his dad a few days later, and he claims the chips tasted old or stale and the birria cheese dip appetizer was too watery and did actually come with birria in it (he had to ask for it and was given a tiny portion).
