We came here for a rehearsal dinner for my cousin's wedding, and it was such a great experience from start to finish. Our group was large--about 30 people--and with so many different orders (and a few demanding personalities in the mix), the staff handled everything with calm professionalism and genuine friendliness. The food was absolutely delicious--served hot, fresh, and exactly as ordered. Every dish that came out looked and tasted amazing. The drinks were also spot-on, perfectly mixed and flowing throughout the evening. Coordinating a group this size isn't easy, but the team here made it look effortless. Usually good. But 2 weeks ago we went for lunch. Husband ordered a smoked old fashioned. The smoke was gone when it was served. Waiter claimed it did have smoke when he got it from the bar. I had ordered coffee with Frangelico. It was good, fresh coffee. During the meal I asked to have the coffee topped off. He brought me a fresh cup of coffee. My pizza toppings were cold. Asked the waiter to heat it up. He came back 5 minutes later. Said the chef wanted to make a new pizza for me. Just wanted it heated up, didn't have time to wait for a fresh one. My husband ordered the white chicken chili. Was good, but not warm enough for soup or chili. When we received the check, charged for coffee with Frangelico $7.25 & $2.19 for coffee. Not sure if the charge for coffee was for the drink or the fresh cup of coffee he brought me. Either way, not what other restaurants do. Didn't take the time to complain, but did send a message on the restaurant's website with no response, a week later another message on their website. No response. Not even a sorry that happened or the waiter was new. No response. We've been to this restaurant many times. Not sure we will be going back any time soon. Stopped here for dinner at the recommendation of our AirBNB host and very glad we did! They're a brewpub and brew their own beers, so of course we had to start there. We tried a few varieties including the shandy, saison and the blueberry wheat. All were excellent! The food menu is extensive with everything from BBQ (more on that later) to sandwiches to pizzas and a great appetizer menu as well if you simply want to pony up to the bar and have a snack with your brew. We had the pizza and the brisket and the brisket was amazing. It was so perfectly cooked and seasoned I ate most without a sauce! Speaking of sauces, they have about six to choose from and while all were delicious in their own way, my favorite was the Carolina Gold. Great service , good food and music on a Saturday night . No wait at 5:15 on a Saturday , TV's tuned to NFL action and a great menu for barbecue and wood fired pizza . It's a brew pup not brewing beer or much right now but it has a good selection of Michigan brews on tap . It has a full liquor license and does some spirits on site with well crafted cocktails . The barbecue is exceptional, the best way to tell is to sample the brisket . Tender and moist which is hard w any brisket let alone a restaurant. Kudos to the smokehouse king !! Pulled pork is great as are other non barbecue options like burgers and even fish and chips . Went in with high hopes. Soda machine was broken. Didn't have all the items on the menu. One out of four dishes was thought to be great (by a 13 year old). Mac and cheese tasted as if was was just boiled noodles. Took minimum of 20 minutes for the drinks from the bar to come. Baby back ribs were dry and tough so was the corn bread. Service was mediocre at best. For the amount of tables the feeling of the staff being overwhelmed is concerning. You can tell they were trying their best. We use to go here when it was the 57 Brew Pub, and haven't been since they changed names. We ordered cheese curds and the 2021 customer choice award pizza, which was the Bay of Pigs pizza. The portions were large, and quality was there for the pizza. Unfortunately the cheese curds were mostly breading and were somewhat stale. The pizza was phenomenal. Visiting from Arizona I had just finished a workout and was looking for good food. Saw the ratings here and decided I would give it a chance. I think they were short staffed and I got sat with Jessica. She was working the bar as well as the tables on one side of the restaurant. She was very accommodating, friendly and present as could be with her workload. I got the Gouda Mac n cheese with added chicken. It was phenomenal! Ambience is really nice here as well. Granted, I'm really hungry but this is the second time I've been here and I love the food and beer. My first time a few weeks ago, I had bbq and man it was great. An excellent Porter to top it off was a winner. Tonight I decided I needed "healthier". I asked the bartender if people like the fish tacos or the fish & chips better. She suggested the tacos and I loved them. I think tacos have to be corn tortillas and I was not disappointed. To add to "healthy" I went with a side of Brussels and another of Sweet Potato Fries. Both extra Service was phenomenal by the young lady bartender stopping every so often to ensure that "Is everything tasting good?" Everything was tasting great, thank you! I probably won't be back this way for some time or a lifetime, but I hope others find this review helpful and encouraging to stop and eat and drink here. PS. We are here for brunch. We both ordered from weekend lunch menu. Plenty of food to fill up a normal person. The waitress was on point with drink refills and brining the food out timely. We had a chef salad and burnt ends for appetizers. It was delicious. Then our food came and it was so good. I got Gouda macaroni with brisket. All in all it's one of the better places that I've eaten in Greenville, but that doesn't make it great. The barbecue is decent but not amazing. The cocktail I had was super sweet - jalapeño Margarita - so not the best and seemed to be more sugar than booze and kinda more like weird lemonade. Would I go back when in town - I might try the crappy Mexican place instead as at least the margaritas were better..... I should add that I'm a barbecue snob so normal people may love it read more

We're in Greenville pretty often to visit family. So glad there's now a great restaurant to come to! We were there on a busy Saturday night but the service was excellent. I don't think we've had a server that attentive and gracious since pre-Covid days. I liked being able to try the different barbecue sauces. Didn't know I liked Carolina style BBQ. It was delicious. I also appreciated that there were some salad and veggie options on the menu. Sometimes BBQ places can be a lot of meat and not much else. Another sign of a well-run place: the bathrooms were very clean. Prices were fair for quality food. The guy playing guitar was just right. Been here many times, it's been going down hill now for awhile. Food portions are getting smaller and quality is going down as well. All of our food was cold and just wasn't that good, none of my family was impressed. Normally I would get the lunch sized meal with brisket and pork, this would be more then enough food. I was there on a Saturday and lunch sizes are not available, no big deal as I thought cool I'll have left over to snack on. The dinner size was what I used to get as lunch sized, but more money. I left hungry, which will not happen again. You guys want to play games, giving less food for more money, and cold, people won't be coming back like me. The employees here are fantastic and always, ALWAYS make the dining experience enjoyable. Everything that we have eaten here has been great as well. I typically order the brisket and some sides, I'm not too adventurous when I find something I like. We love sitting outside in the warmer months and love that option. read more
