Grilled Pork Patty Rolls
Rebecca H.

I've been here once maybe four years ago and remember the pho was good. I'm back to try a food hack someone else mentioned- pho with shrimp, add quail eggs, and add chili oil that's on the table. It was a great idea and I highly recommend it, too! The spring rolls and the peanut sauce were great. That was almost filling on its own. Service was quick and nice. This is a great place for dates, friends, and family!

Came for their lunch special and we got a chicken pho a beef pho and also nem nuong rolls. The beef pho was pretty good but some of the beef was a little too fatty. And there was also not a lot of noodles. The chicken pho was pretty good but the soup was very salty. The rolls were good though. I enjoyed the sauce as well. The service here was okay, they were pretty busy and never came back to check up on us and we had to request multiple things like ice, the check. Ambiance wise, I also did not enjoy. I came in and almost half the tables were dirty full of plates that no one cleaned up. Overall, this would be a spot late night since they're open late but there definitely are better places for lunch.

Fav spot to get late night Pho! My most favorite item is definitely the beef marrow (tủy bò) because of how tasty and fatty as the marrow should taste. Also, there's no other Pho place that has beef marrow taken out of the bone like New Super Pho, which is super time saving. Fried daikon rice cake (bột chiên) is another fav of mine that has the most similar taste to the authentic bột chiên in Vietnam. A great place for family and friends with fast and efficient service.

They're open until 2 am so after a long day of work, I come here for a bowl of pho and it's one of the best. Service is always fast and a nice atmosphere whether you're dining alone or with a group. 9/10 they don't disappoint

Finding good pho outside of Vietnam or major food hubs can be tricky, but New Super Pho almost did a solid job. The pho dac biet is well-portioned, and while it's not quite like home, it still manages to some of satisfy that pho craving. The broth could use some more flavor, the noodles are cooked just right, and the meat is tender. It's nothing groundbreaking, but sometimes all you need is a big, steaming bowl of comfort, and this place delivers. If you're in the area and need a warm, familiar meal, this is a dependable choice if you're desperate. Just don't expect it to transport you to Saigon.

I LOVE New Super Pho! I go quite often and love it each time. The best part about this establishment is that it is open late. Usually until 2 or 3am, perfect for when you have that late night craving! There are two locations that I know of, the Duluth location and the Doraville location. There is no difference in the food served at each one. However, the Duluth one is bigger and busier in my opinion. But, the service is fast in both locations, so don't worry! I alternate between the Bun Bo Hue and the Pho Dac Biet. Their Thai tea and Avocado smoothies are also great! There's always music playing and lots of conversations going on. A great place to go with friends after a late tiring night. I recommend you stop by when you get a chance! They even have lunch deals!!! :)

This restaurant is located in the Hmart Doraville plaza where The Sweet Spot used to be. There's plenty of indoor seating available. The lunch special is for $8.99 with 9 options to choose from (noodle soups and rice dishes). I went with the Street Food Noodle (Hu Tieu Go), and the broth was too sweet for me. The portion size is just enough to be full and overall the lunch special is a good value.

I love the Ambiance in this place, walking in at midnight with all of my nieces was definitely a vibe! It went from restuarant to after hour spot as soon as we were seated. LOL I am vegetarian, so I naturally ordered the veggie pho and because I'm so used to cooked down vegetables this was really different because most of the veggies were kind of raw and the Pho did not hold a lot of flavor, It was definitely a unique experience and a vibe. My nieces enjoyed themselves. The restaurant was extremely clean and the service was outstanding.

P4. Pho Dac Biet House Special

Went for dinner around 7pm on a Tuesday night and there was no wait time. The Pho Dac Biet was great especially for the price;however, the broth seemed to be missing something that I can't explain. Nonetheless it was still worth the price. As for the thai tea and the banh mi, both were good and fairly priced. Although I don't have any particular gripes about this place, I wouldn't say it's perfect.

Wassup world?! Back at my usual spot for pho & banh mi, but this time, my sis was the one craving it--not me. I wasn't really feeling it, so I just ate what she ordered. She got the large #1 combo pho, grilled pork with rice, combo banh mi, and Thai tea. Overall, this visit was a 7/10. If you've been here before, you already know how the service is--servers running around like crazy, but they're super attentive. Here's the breakdown: * #1 Pho Combo - 6/10 The broth was kinda bland that night. Usually, it hits, but this time? Meh. * Grilled Pork Plate - 9/10 Perfectly seasoned and grilled just right. Pair it with the pickled carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, and fish sauce? Absolute fire. * Combo Banh Mi - 6/10 Ehh, it was just okay. Nothing too exciting. * Thai Tea - 7/10 Loved the tall drink container (super cute), but the tea wasn't that sweet, and the boba was just alright. Would I come back? Of course--this is still my spot! They stay open 'til 3AM, so it's always a solid late-night option. Guess it just depends on the day because different days = different flavors. Pull up and see for yourself!

I want to be upfront with this review and call out my experience honestly…read more Personally, I'm sensitive to heavy MSG usage. When I eat at many Japanese or Korean soup restaurants that don't rely heavily on MSG, I rarely get headaches afterward. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. I ordered the bún bò Huế, a spicy and rich Vietnamese noodle soup originating from the central city of Huế. Traditionally, it features a bold, savory broth flavored with lemongrass, shrimp paste, and chili oil, served with thick rice vermicelli noodles, sliced beef, pork (often shank or knuckle), and fresh herbs with crunchy vegetables like banana blossom or cabbage. The portion was generous and visually accurate to the dish, but the broth felt extremely heavy and overpowering for me, and I left with a noticeable headache--something that doesn't usually happen to me at similar soup-focused restaurants. As a side note, the restaurant had a health inspection score of 81 (low B) the last time I checked, which is fairly in line with many older, high-volume ethnic restaurants, but still worth mentioning for transparency. The location is also something to be aware of. It's in a busy parking lot with a lot of reckless driving activity, so be careful when walking--this isn't the kind of place where you can casually stroll through the lot like you might at Whole Foods or Publix. You definitely need to watch left and right. The surrounding businesses include an American Deli and a pizza buffet, which gives you an idea of the overall environment. Overall, Pho Dai Lo serves authentic, bold-flavored Vietnamese dishes, and fans of strong, intense broths may enjoy it. However, if you're sensitive to very rich seasoning or additives, your experience may vary. Im Asian btw I know msg is used in a lot of viet and Chinese dishes and maybe the reasons why I enjoyed this dish. But I do have regret after coming out. It's not cheap either for two person with tip roughly $20 pp. u can get all you can eat buffet or even the Gohan seafood buffet if you think about it.

So far I have had the pho twice, the rice cubes, and the shaking beef. Everything tasted great. Big parking lot for free parking. It is amazing how similar my visits have been. I think the servers do not want to interrupt your meal but I wish they would come by more often. I think their dishes although prepared authentically are underwhelming in terms of the depths in flavor and really the soul of Vietnamese food. I'm not an expert but I've eaten my fair share of Vietnamese food for a standard issue white girl. The pork patty was dry and likely made at the beginning of the week and just reheated as the week went on. It was pretty bland and had this rubbery overly bouncy consistency and literally snapped when I bit into it. It basically got lost amongst all the fresh herbs too. As you can tell from the photo the Bánh bột chiên was burnt and it ended up being burnt on both sides. The squares were cut too thick...and because they were cut too thick they were on the mushy side even after being overly pan fried. All of the veg was fresh and well cleaned, the rice noodles were not overly sticky and clumped together. The pickled carrot/daikon were tasty. The server I had was attentive and polite. The interior was as to be expected and I couldn't care less that it's a little rough around the edges. If the tile isn't cracked, if the booth's vinyl isn't taped up, the utensils aren't mismatched and the tables aren't wobbly then I don't trust the place!! Like I said-I don't dislike it here. I just don't see the hype. Then again I feel like I have to piece together my favorite dishes from several spots between Doraville/Chamblee and Duluth, so maybe it's because I haven't found one place that checks all the boxes and I can get all my favs from one place. I will come again...because I love Bánh hỏi.
