    This restaurant is located on the second floor of Lincoln Hotel. It is a cozy & clean place, the patio is beautiful in the evening. Foods were delicious and the service was great! It's authentic Taiwanese cuisine, love every single dish!

    Highly recommend this newly opened restaurant for their warm service, delicious food, elegant ambience and convenient parking. They have a separate room available for booking large parties. Their outdoor patio area is perfect for romantic dining and great for parties too.

    We followed this restaurant from Alhambra to Monterey Park. We were so worried when we found out the restaurant has changed in Alhambra, but luckily we found them again. Same owner, same chef, same delicious food. There is a very nice outdoor seating with fire pit ... Perfect for warm summer nights. They also have a party room which would be perfect for parties and events. This is as authentic Taiwanese food as it gets. Everything was amazing from Fried stinky tofu to the chicken soup for the soul. You can also bring your own seafood and request for them to cook for you, they charge you a fee for the cooking and preparing of course. Just drop by if you are in the area. It's located on the top floor of the parking structure in Lincoln hotel Monterey Park.

    Tried lunch and dinner. Specially priced lunch specials are pretty good because although the portions are on the smaller side, everything was cooked well and the chef's technique is apparant. We liked it enough to come back for dinner in the patio. The atmosphere with the typical modern hotel look is especially welcome in this area where there are not many such spaces. There is a small charcoal grill in the corner for anyone who wants to order skewers. Nobody ordered it in the time I was there and the poor guy manning it looked bored lol. We had the Walnut Shrimp and Taiwanese Pan Fried Rice Noodles. The Walnut Shrimp didn't have the larger sized shrimp I expected but the sauce was just the right flavor and amount coating each shrimp. We were very pleased with the generous number of candied walnuts. Our server was friendly and polite and checked on us a few times to make sure we were satisfied with everything. They have heat lamps if it gets chilly. Overall it's a nice addition to the local area. The slightly higher price on the regular menu is justified by the large portions and comfortable more "upscale" atmosphere. Parking is free in the hotel structure.

I have had ones in previous visits that the beef was chewy, not tender. You have a choice of regular noodles or hand torn noodles. Hand torn noodles are more filling since the noodles are much thicker than the regular noodles. They are both good. It is a matter of preference. The minced pork with noodles (aka Jia Jiang mien) is also good. For this visit, I did not order dumplings. But their dumplings are usually good. The service is adequate but don't expect good service.

After looking over the menu, we ordered the minced pork rice with braised eggs & pickles, shrimp wontons, Dan Dan noodles, and two clamshell buns -- one with pork belly and one with five spice beef. The Dan Dan noodles were pretty classic and straightforward. I've definitely had better versions elsewhere, but it still hit the spot if you're craving something familiar. The minced pork rice, however, reminded me so much of my mom's braised pork and egg dish. It had that comforting home-cooked feel to it, though I did think it was missing a little something at first. Once I added soy sauce, black vinegar, and chili paste, it completely transformed the dish and gave it the perfect oomph. Same situation with the shrimp wontons -- the custom sauce combo really elevated the flavors. Now onto the clamshell buns: this was the star of the meal.
