Fabulous tap room, fabulous selection of beers - they're not for everyone, but you're going to find plenty of really big beers, plenty of Juicy IPAs, and plenty of hefty stouts with lots of flavor. You'll find a few slightly experimental things, and some in between things, maybe a light lager, a pilsner or a kolsch. Staff was really great with us, both at the bar and at the tables. We ad some chips and guac, and those were just fine. I'm always disappointed when an establishment puts tomatoes in their guac, but whatever - that's personal preference. It still tasted decent and was nice to put a little food in the belly while trying all the delicious suds. If I didn't live so far from Arvada I'd probably visit more, but as it is right now, it's a bit too far for a weekly stop. Monthly though? Now we're talking. We recently moved near Olde Town and along with a few other places, this place is at the top. If you love sours and a different spin on IPAs I recommend. Food is great too. Always a friendly staff. The live music they often have on the patio is typically a great sounding band. Other patrons are really cool. Overall always a top spot! Read some of the other negative reviews and don't really understand some of them. One was complaining that a happy hour discount was expected and therefore gave a bad review. (I wouldn't go to specialized brewery expecting deep discounts). Another was about coming at an off time which was when shifts were changing. No matter what restaurant you go to this can always lead to some delay. Had to vent after reading those, I love this place and never had any issues with service or the pricing. read more

The Pros The best I can say is the staff is extremely helpful, and every employee will make sure you have everything you need. The Cons The beer selection is limited having only IPA's and a few sours. (Everyone has their beer type they like, so I wish they would have had more variety.) If you like IPA's you may enjoy having a beer here. The food is probably some of the worst food I've ever ate. I could tell they were going for a fusion street taco style with some innovation, but does not even come close to hitting the mark. We stopped at New Image Brewing for dinner last week and found this brewery in the heart of old Arvada charming. It's small brewery with around a half dozen or so picnic tables with an open seating concept for people to sit, drink beer, chat and meet new people. They have a nice number of beers, ales & lagers ( try the coffee, cinnamon stout! ) and a small menu for snacks. I was a bit disappointing than on a Friday night we could not get a burger ( only make them for lunches is what I gathered), but we were quite happy with the fish and chips. The Fish was awesome and had a very generous portion, and the chips ( large potato fries ) we spicy and were delicious. The coleslaw portion was small, but tasty as well. Wish they had a larger food menu, as I like to eat more than I like to drink, but enjoyed this place enough to visit again on a regular basis. read more

The beers were great! The service on the other hand...whoever the brunette curly haired waitress was working the patio yesterday evening was absolutely terrible. She was short and so rude to our group that was there just for a short time. Our group of 6 even discussed leaving so we didn't have to deal with her attitude. We were lucky to have a different server drop our beers off (the one with pink hair) who was such a doll and made the experience fun again. read more

So yummy! Beers are good and so is the service and the vibe :) I got the lavender mojito and loved it!! (current obsession with lavender) We got here the day they changed up to a new menu format. We got just about every taco and they're creative & tasty. Loved the sweet chili shrimp, braised short rib, braised pork belly, fire braised chicken and Mediterranean. the thai fish was okay too. The number one reason we came here is because they have several nice looking Vegan options. Sat at the bar we also had a pub pass the young lady behind the bar kind of copped an attitude at that. Not surprising as we have seen people get a free beer and stiff the waitstaff on tips. Not us though we're very generous empty nesters who like the beer scene and are mug club members at several Denver area breweries. Beers arrives and both were excellent. The problem was we were ignored and never asked if we would like to order food. A shame because the menu looks great and the beer was excellent. read more

I really enjoyed the space. Our bartender was cool, and kind. We didn't get to talk to him about beer much. We had chips and salsa...it tasted fermented almost, with a fizzy quality. It was weird. Not great. The chips were seasoned well though. The beers were great. I got the New England style IPA and it was tasty as hell. My boyfriend had the DIPA and it was good, but not as drinkable as mine. Overall the beers were great, the ambiance was very hip and calm, and I'd like to try more good next time I come. One of our favorite new breweries! New Image is off the beaten path, but worth a stop if you are in the Arvada area. They've got a variety of different sours on tap, and a lot of different IPA's that my husband loves (and he is quite the beer snob). I tried the Moped, and it was great! Good for easy drinking. We also enjoy the Peachra. They've got a couple of big tables inside, and a nice patio with some umbrella shade out back. We've never tried the food, but it always looks amazing coming out. my new go-to spot! this spot has a special place in my heart for two reasons: delicious sours and vegan options! plenty of space to work and the employees are all very sweet. there's usually ample parking. just great in all facets. i've attached a photo of the beautiful pour I got (Cran Cherry Crumple Dyad - Their Dyad series is kombucha-based I believe!) Normally, my reviews for breweries are primarily for their beers and secondarily for the service and atmosphere. This place is a little bit different. Although I did have a few of their beers, I did also enjoy their GABF guest list. On top of that, and perhaps most shocking to me, was their menu and the quality of the food. Everything was good but nothing stood out more than the Korean pork tacos. I'd actually come back just for those! As for the beer, Wood is the one that stood out to me. Once more, I find a beer that is barrel aged, far from my favorite style, and it just impressed the heck out of me. Outside of the guest beers, I had two other home brews and they were decent. I'd like to add that the service was great - the guy had a strong opinion on both beers and food and he was spot on for all of it. I love that decisiveness. read more

Honestly, they had the worst service. My husband and I had Pub Passes and as soon as we pulled them out, our server told us they don't accept them even though they are in the Pub Pass. My husband and I always buy something after using our passes to make sure they get money, but they were so rude I wouldn't go back and would not recommend. I love this place - my new favorite in Old Town. The drinks are smooth, bartenders/servers are nice/friendly/helpful, and the food is amazing. I qualify a 5 star restaurant as "Would I bring my mother here when she visits?" and yes I would. Normally I would never bring her to a brewery, but the food here is fantastic. Their pork kimchi taco is amazing, the pork is so tender and flavorful, plus the zest and brightness of the sauce and kimchi... mm. It's tapas style little plates, but priced well so you don't feel bad buying multiples. It's probably better that way anyways, because I wouldn't be able to choose between all my favorites. Metro Denver is full of great beer, but these people stand out even more than most other good breweries. They are FUCKING FANTASTIC. Not everything on tap is for me--not even these folks are going to make me into a lager-lover--but everything is tasty and well-designed and brilliantly executed. Their IPAs and Belgians are excellent, and they do wonderful things with mixed-culture and brett brews. I wish they produced new brilliant ideas even faster than they do, and I wish they did another dark beer or two, but they seem to have something new on tap every time we manage to get out to Arvada, and it's always something I'm happy to put in my face. The kitchen produces really excellent tacos, nachos, and bowls, too. Once again, they're a cut above virtually every other brewery in metro Denver. You should come down here and have a beer. You're TREMENDOUSLY unlikely to be disappointed. read more

Staff was great, and the beer we had was as well. I love the decor and branding that they have going on. I'll probably go back and get a t-shirt. I had an IPA and a porter of theirs. The beer was great, and that's not why I took off a star. I only did because the porter was $10. To me, there are so many breweries around that offer beer at nearly half (or literally) the price, I'm not sure how they justified this price tag. I do want to come back and possibly buy some of their beer to take home, or try more of the beer they have on tap. On our third and final stop of the Denver Pub Pass tour we landed at New Image Brewing. The location is pretty easy to find and there is a decent amount of parking around the area depending on the time of day. Décor - The décor inside is very cool. The place itself it fairly spacious with a bar and open picnic table style seating. There is a bright and airy feel to the spot and it definitely is comfortable enough to make you linger. I did also see that there is a great outdoor space which I'm sure if PACKED in the summer or nicer weather days/months. Staff - Open seating and full service staff are nice to have in a spot like this (especially given the seating and the potential to not want to get up and lose your seat). Our waiter(s) were helpful and willing to answer any questions that we had which is about all that you can ask for. Beer - My husband had a beer that I can't totally recall the name - a play on Tupac Shakur and he really liked it. I had the Single By Choice and was very pleased with its balance and fruitiness. Food - We saved New Image for last because based on the photos we assumed the food would be the best here. We looked pretty hard at the menu and ended up being kind of disappointed but it's unlike us to not at least try something - so we chose two tacos to split. Olde Town Braised Pork Belly which was served on more of a deep fried tortilla with Fuji Apple, Pickled Ren Onion, Serrano Citrus Crema, and Micro Beet Greens. I was pretty impressed with the flavor (it was spicy) but really wished they had A: just served it on a normal foldable corn tortilla and B: that isn't wasn't so microscopically tiny especially for $4.25. The second taco we got was Ancho Seared Chicken served in basically a pastry with Roasted Corn, Red Onion, and Mole. Okay - for serious this taco was horrendous! It was just so bad. Nothing about it worked. They definitely need to scrap this option. Overall - I would definitely go back to New Image for the beer but the food could you just fine tuning. It just wasn't as good as it should be especially since there beer is so good. read more

Being a Boulder snob who rarely leaves my rarefied bubble, I was delighted to visit Olde Town Arvada and find a vital and cool downtown with a great Brewery that served delicious vegan fare. My vegan chorizo burrito was full of complex flavors that satisfied with every bite. I loved the macerated peach sour beer and if I wasn't a 200 pound lightweight, I would have had a few more drinks to sample the beer menu. Came to this Brew Co on a Tuesday night and was very impressed by quality of drinks, food, and staff. Cool neighborhood bar feel with slammin cocktails and food. Tried a few cocktails, one with f*cking dragons milk. Yeah. Dragon's milk. I have no idea what that is so I can only assume the bartender went into the cellar and squeezed the teet of a full grown Khaleesi style dragon chained to a brickwall for safety, and then returned to make the cocktail. Anyway it was delicious. Carnivore nachos were legitness, and this one taco with goat cheese legit made me j in my p. Only tried one beer, with amarillo in the title, and let's just say...I drank the ENTIRE BEER because it was good and I thouroughly enjoyed it. Let's get this part out of the way: COVID precautions were on point. Now what really matters: the BEER! Did a flight of IPAs, and a barley wine. Every one of them was stellar. I seek out breweries wherever I go, and have had IPAs from the best, and New Image can hang with the best of them (OH, Foam, Alchemist, Burial, J Wake, etc). If there's anything to say, it's that I'd like to see them out there more. 5 years and they're under the radar! I want to see a collab with another IPA powerhouse. Or them on the docket for some big IPA fest. I've heard and seen their Denver brethren out on the east coast. This beer is too good to go on so low key. PS. the food was great too haha read more
