Stopped in today and they have completely re imagined their menu and I can't say enough great things about it!!! Interesting tacos, vegan options, good quality of the food (which sadly many restaurants overlook). I mean this is the only place in old town arvada that caters to this type of cuisine, has a great atmosphere and delicious beer. My husband and I just stopped in for a drink after a dinner elsewhere. I was very happy to see they had cocktails (since I need gluten-free drinks) and also happy they have vegan options on the menu (even though we weren't eating there this night). My cocktail was good. Check out New Image Brewery if you are anywhere near Denver! Their beer is great all around but my favorite is definitely the East Coast. Their food is some of the most creative tapas-style I've had in the area. The menu is always changing and always really good! Sometimes breweries don't put enough emphasis on the food, but NIB serves food with purpose, meaning, and flavor. They are definitely worth the uber from Denver! :) read more

Stumbled upon this nice place. I enjoyed the feel of this brewery. liked the big bench seating and the landscaping photography. Also it was on an adorable street, I love old Town Arvada. Started off with a drink which was so delicious and refreshing. I really enjoyed how light and clean the drinks tasted, perfect for a warm day. We got a few tacos and tostadas two out of three were delicious. I really enjoyed the fish taco and the pork belly tostada. I definitely will return to try other Foods on the menu. I also look forward to having some more drinks it's been days but I'm still thinking about how good they were. I will be back for another fish taco and a drink or two! read more

Beer is AMAZING. Always love to try the new releases! We moved to the area as everything shut down from covid a year ago. During that time we utilized their delivery (which they no longer offer, but can't blame them since they could serve at the brewery again). I think they all knew our house by the time delivery stopped. We've only been by the brewery once, but keep meaning to get back to try all the new great beers. Love this new brewery! We went on opening weekend and I've been back almost every weekend since! It's a great light, airy space and the staff is super friendly (especially Gavin!). It's super kid-friendly without being a nightmare to those without kids. They just redid their food menu to have more options, so looking forward to trying more stuff out. We usually get the fries, which are really crispy and good, and this past time I also tried the pork kimchi taco, which was super tasty! Can't wait for the new patio to open! read more

Glad to see the 30+ reviews for a place that's been open for 4 months. Arvada Yelpers are busy bees! Here's the thing that compelled me to write this review: the salad. Specifically, the mango chicken salad, aka the best salad in Arvada. It's actually a bit tough to find a great salad around here. I feel like I'm stuck going back to Panera's or switching up to Kneader's (oooh, Kneaders, adventurous). ; ) Seriously, though, there are some good salads in both places. The mango chicken salad at NIB, however, is a great salad, maybe even a phenomenal salad. It's simple but the lettuce is so high quality it's good enough to stand alone. It's really the very excellent quality of the simple ingredients that move the mango chicken salad out of high-end-chain-competition and up to a level of its own. You can't fake great lettuce. Well seasoned and expertly prepared, juicy chicken is allowed to stand alone. The mango, tomato, onion salsa (almost a quick pickle) really balances the flavors and powers this salad into a complete flavor experience. So, rethink New Image as just a place to get beers. Instead, recognize that's it's like Yardhouse or other brewery restaurants, where you can go for the food alone. I don't want to diminish the incredible beers I had but I do want people to be aware of everything that NIB is offering. Quick beer review: 1. They had goses! In this case, it was Boulevard's hibiscus gose on tap. Here's the thing: a gose is the hoppy cousin of a margarita and it's a perfect summer beer. There's even a little salt to really balance the profile. I love goses and they are pretty hard to find so cheers to NIB for stocking one of my favorite style of beers. 2. The DIPA is a IPA for people who don't like IPAs. I would say it's similar to Dry Dock's DIPA, where it's lightly hoppy but drinkable. Great first IPA when people want to try more hoppy beers without drinking hop-bombs. 3. Everything everyone else said about Wood (that is positive) is spot on. Great bourbon-y, balanced, rye beer. I don't believe in seasonality to beers but if you do, this is the perfect summer beer that's still a bit darker. This place is perfect for FACs, book clubs or other forms of after work hang outs....but I'm going back for the mango chicken salad as the perfect workday lunch. read more

Let me start off by saying we went on a Friday night around 7, so we weren't expecting the fastest service on earth. The ladies behind the bar were busting their ass and while it was standing room only they got us a beer quickly while we waited for a table to open up, it's all good. We waited about 30 minutes for a table to open up while we drank our beer (East Coast Transplant was pretty good, not the greatest) then we grabbed their spot. A server was quick to bring us a menu. So far, so good! We then waited another 30 minutes for her to come back to take our order. When we said that we wanted to get some food, she said "yea, let me get a server for that." She walked away and either forgot to get another server to let us place a food order, or she completely forgot about us. Either way, we sat there for another 30 minutes with empty beers waiting to order. I made sure to give out the "I'd like to order" vibe, but the servers including the one who stopped by were hanging out chatting by the expo station. After an hour of only receiving a menu we walked out and went elsewhere. I travel far and wide for chicaronnes and theirs looked really good for the lucky souls who were able to order. Wish I could have tried them. My wife has had a good time here in the past, so I was excited to give it a shot. Might be back, maybe not. Definitely not on a weekend. read more

Some really awesome beer selections, with a very clean and sophisticated interior. The bartenders were attentive and offered insight. Nothing on the menu really caught my eye. This is a typical "west-coast" drinking establishment. If you haven't been to the east coast, let me explain. East coast drinking places involves sitting down at a stool and talking to your neighbors, and watching TV. West Coast will be similar but there are more games (board games, or card games) and honestly people are just more friendly in general. There are NO TV's in this brewery, but again there are more than enough other ways to entertain yourself. The beers are a little on the pricier side and the beers are pretty heavy (ABV wise). Word of advice here, the sours are sour (I like it) and they have some bite. If you're someone who isn't too crazy about sours then steer clear, but otherwise enjoy. read more

I really wanted to like this place. It has a cool vibe with many guest taps. And a great looking cocktail list. But I really came in for their beers. The beer I had was the bourbon aged one. It was very very tasty, but $10 for a 10oz beer is kinda outrageous. I don't know if I'll come back. On a positive note I did get a service industry discount for donating a deck of cards to the game table. I wasn't expecting that so kiddos to that. Wish I had a chance to actually try some of their brews I wanted to...got there in the late afternoon on a Saturday and we were thrown at the end of a long table with a child crawling across and under said table...this was only slightly annoying compared to the fact that the 4 beers we first tried to order were out. The one we did order tasted like campfire smoke. I had seen they had rowdy mermaid kombucha so I naturally assumed it would be on tap, but nope I paid $6.25 for a BOTTLE of kombucha. I could've gone to Sprouts and got the same for $3. Maybe if I ever go back and things are actually in stock, I might update my review. read more
