As one of the previous yelpers mentioned make sure you check on the hours before heading here and…read moremake sure you have a good working car as you don't want to break down on the last mile of a dirt road especially in the rain. We saw the signs off Interstate 79 and just got lucky as we got there 1/2 before closing on Mother's Day Sunday! The owner let my wife feed the baby wild Turkey's while I was taste testing with his son. The facility was way cool and modern for being out in the middle of nowhere. Also note to mention this is an 11 mile ride off of interstate 79 thru farm land with narrow roads so if your use to city driving be careful. I'm not a Vodka drinker so I was down to tasting the Moonshine and whiskies. I'm not a Red Bull drinker so the cinnamon whiskey was out for me. The moonshine is truly amazing on what I imagined moonshine should taste like. One of the other things that made me wonder after I left was the bottles were pretty heavy duty which probably is why the prices were a bit steep. I would like to see something a little more gimmicky like a Watermelon, Peach, pineapple or mango moonshine in a 1/2 gallon mason jar or hill Billy Jug. I'll definitely be back if I'm ever in the neighborhood!

Horrible. Not worth the drive or lack of GPS. Dude waiting on us was the rudest human being. I got…read moreserial killer vibes immediately. He was flippant and mean. He chastised me for using a different cup for each liquor I tried - I asked him doesn't that ruin the flavor? He said each cup costs too much and I was wasting things. What should have been a fun event was 20 minutes of crap.

It really felt like a hike and when we showed up we were a bit confused if it was open and where to…read morepark. However the service we received was great and really welcoming. We did two tastings and the tasting boards were nice. It's not much of a location to hang in- just one room so our loud group kind of took over. They have a few cocktails too which were tasty (one with chai and cardamom was nice). No TVs or food while we were there but if you happen to be driving in the area the bourbons and prices were good.

I am not a whiskey expert so I can't really say if their whiskey is awesome or not. I did purchase…read morea bottle because I liked the whiskey enough to support a local business. Why three stars? It is not a destination place. I am a fan of wineries and breweries that have a bit of ambiance and history to them. This is not one of those places. Upon arrival I wasn't sure if there was a tasting room or not. It looks like a warehouse with no defined parking and no "warmth" to bring customers in. The tasting room has space for 8 people and can be filled with 5. The tasting room is more like a converted office with the expected customer to be a distributor. I asked the server about the history or what makes their whiskey different from others. The answer was "We are between a micro distillery and a large manufacturer." I was hoping for something like grandpas recipes or locally sourced grains but I got nothing. I look for places to be and enjoy a drink with friends. This is not one of those places. This is a sample it, but it, and get out place.
