Yummy omelet. Fair price and good serving. We both got western omelets. Would definitely eat here again!

There are no words that can adequately describe how delicious Craig's food is. I am not joking when…read moreI say every one of my wedding guests raved about the food. A few family members asked for their number to cater their 4th of July parties. We ate the leftovers for days after (so don't worry about your guests not getting enough at the buffet) and the chicken and turkey were still as moist as the day they originally made it. My husband and I live on the west coast and are devastated we can't come to eat at their restaurant every week. Charlie was also so wonderful to work with! She was very communicative and accommodating. We had a few guests with allergies and they were easily able to find a solution. They were even able to hire a few bartenders from their staff. The beer is delicious, so also consider order their kegs for your special event as well. Who doesn't love a one stop shop for food and drinks?? We love Brewery and the Beast!

When my meal arrived, it was clearly Tikka Masala rather than the Chicken Marsala I had ordered. When placing the order, the waitress and I had specifically discussed the Chicken Marsala, as she said it was on special, so she hadn't tried it. When I asked if the dish delivered was Tikka Masala rather than Marsala, she initially told me it was what I had ordered. A few minutes later, she came back and acknowledged that the order was wrong, saying she "actually doesn't know the difference between them," and told me the correct meal would take about another 10 minutes. It ended up taking approximately 25 minutes. When someone from the kitchen finally brought my meal, they apologized by saying, "Sorry for your server's incompetence." By the time my meal arrived, my family had already finished eating and had been waiting in the car for more than 15 minutes. Our server later came back to process the bill, but no compensation or meaningful effort was made to address the situation. When I explained how disappointing the experience had been, the apology felt very half-hearted. I completely understand that mistakes happen. What was frustrating was the lack of urgency, communication, and effort to make things right. A simple ordering mistake could have been handled much differently. The food itself seemed good, which makes the experience even more disappointing. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously, because good food can only go so far when the customer service falls short.

They offer a great selection of food and pastries, and the coffee is fantastic--plenty of delicious flavors to choose from, including lots of sugar-free options! Looking for a local souvenir? The town itself has that perfect mountain-arts vibe--historic brick buildings, quiet streets, and a steady flow of hikers, skiers, and road-trippers--and TipTop fits right into that rhythm. The shop is cozy and unpretentious, the kind of café where the warmth from the espresso machine and the conversations around the room cut through the mountain chill. It feels local in the best way--welcoming without trying too hard. But the real highlight is the coffee. The cup I had was excellent: clean, balanced, and clearly prepared by people who care about the craft. It had the kind of clarity and sweetness that stands out, especially when you're used to road-trip coffee stops that are just "good enough." This was genuinely memorable. If you're passing through the Canaan Valley / Blackwater Falls area or chasing powder at Timberline or Canaan Valley Resort, TipTop Coffee is absolutely worth the stop. It's proof that even in a small Appalachian ski town, you can still find a cup that would hold its own in much bigger coffee cities. A mountain gem.

I always make it a point to visit whenever I'm in town and always highly recommend this location to others!
