When placing the order, the waitress and I had specifically discussed the Chicken Marsala, as she said it was on special, so she hadn't tried it. When I asked if the dish delivered was Tikka Masala rather than Marsala, she initially told me it was what I had ordered. A few minutes later, she came back and acknowledged that the order was wrong, saying she "actually doesn't know the difference between them," and told me the correct meal would take about another 10 minutes. It ended up taking approximately 25 minutes. When someone from the kitchen finally brought my meal, they apologized by saying, "Sorry for your server's incompetence." By the time my meal arrived, my family had already finished eating and had been waiting in the car for more than 15 minutes. Our server later came back to process the bill, but no compensation or meaningful effort was made to address the situation. When I explained how disappointing the experience had been, the apology felt very half-hearted. I completely understand that mistakes happen. What was frustrating was the lack of urgency, communication, and effort to make things right. A simple ordering mistake could have been handled much differently. The food itself seemed good, which makes the experience even more disappointing. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously, because good food can only go so far when the customer service falls short.
