You can eat in, but it's very basic (nothing wrong with that if you just want a simple place to eat, but not a good venue for a date IMO), but to grab some food and go, it's awesome. Ordered sweet & sour chicken, chicken lo mein, general tso chicken, and honey garlic chicken. The sweet and sour sauce is red and thick and simply tastes sweet, not a good flavor. It tasted like it came from a can. The breading on the chicken dishes was soggy, maybe because I took my order to go. The general tso chicken was the worst I've ever had. The sauce was thick and very salty. There was too much sauce and it also tasted like it came from a can and not prepared fresh. The lo mein was also extremely salty. It was coated in too much soy sauce. We ordered enough food to have leftovers for another meal but we threw out the leftovers because it was all so bad and we don't need to eat that much sodium. The food is very inexpensive- order a lunch special or lunch bowl and either will provide you with a large portion (with leftovers for the next day). I agree with Ryan C on this one. New Asian Kitchen is the best small and independent fast food Chinese of it's kind in the area. Nobody in a several mile radius makes Chinese Food as tasty. Food packed with lots of fresh vegetables and great flavors. They even make the very hard to make Cantonese Dry Sauteed Beef Chow Fun that's considered a major test for Cantonese Chefs for cooking and their version is very good indeed and you will not see that dish at most places I note. My personal favorites are the Szechuan Chicken, the Curry Chicken and the Yui Shan Eggplant. Lately they don't make these dishes as spicy as they use to make them but they are so flavorful it doesn't matter. The people that own the place are very nice and they will make anything within reason for you. I have at least a half dozen places that are closer that aren't nearly as good. This place isn't fancy at all but it seems clean and is very reasonably priced. read more

Don't you hate it when you look up a restaurant and they have great reviews so you decide to try it out but the food is really bad. Well that was my experience here. The service was awesome nice people. It kills me to do this to them but some one has to so others don't go through what I've been through tonight. I ordered the beef broccoli dinner special, substituted the beef and broccoli for Mongolian beef. My girlfriend ordered house lo mein. They both tasted like old used fish infused oil from the previous order. My Mongolian beef had the same flavor but Spicier. They used flour tortillas to wrap the egg rolls. I thought the price was average till I got home and seen the small portions compared to other places. I am really disappointed in this place. We ordered both as a dinner combo ($11.50), which comes with an egg roll, 2 crab puffs, chicken lo mein, and fried rice. The rice was a bit bland, but the lo mein & egg rolls were good, and the crab puffs were delicious! Mushroom chicken was decent, not a super rich sauce. The beef was just ok, somewhat fatty and thickly sliced. We wouldn't order it again. Ask for the house hot mustard, much better than the little to go packs. We will definitely visit again. read more

They don't disappoint! 3rd time we've ordered delivery. Food is always fresh, what we ordered and arrived sooner than their estimated delivery time (45 min every time). First time we ordered was on a mid Saturday afternoon, second time a Friday night, third time mid week when we both got home incredibly late from work and cooking wasn't an option. Staff always polite and pleasant. So happy we found our new "go to" and the menu is versatile so we don't feel like we can only get the same one or two things. The Wontons sided a little sweet for me, and the Wontons had a lot of pastry, but still both were very good and far better quality than most places. Tonight we decided to skip the usual delivery & dine in. I don't know why we don't do that more often. Their service is so attentive, we saw the menu in a whole new light & ordered something different & the food was even nicer when plated & served. We really enjoyed it. I really wanted to like this place because the staff are so kind, attentive, and accommodating; however, their food just isn't that great. The fried dishes tasted too oily (a sign that the oil temperature is too low or perhaps they fry in a healthier unsaturated fat...either way, it didn't taste pleasant). The one redeeming factor was their potstickers--they have a great flavor and sauce. I'll breakdown my thoughts on their other dishes here: Orange chicken: non-existent orange flavor. It just tasted savory, so the msg was coming through loud and clear. There was a strong grease flavor coming through that made us just throw out our leftovers. Pineapple chicken: tasted nearly identical to the orange chicken. The only difference is that they made the sauce a little sweeter and added fresh pineapple. It had the same overpowering grease flavor. Mongolian beef: this was a huge disappointment. Even buffet Chinese food places can serve tender, decent-tasting Mongolian Beef, so the fact that a dedicated service restaurant with high ratings couldn't serve up something really special disappointed me. Fried rice: This tasted great. It's hard to mess up fried rice. House (combo) Lo Mein: The meats were lacking and the shrimp they use was a little overpowering. I'm not too keen on a really "fishy" flavor, and higher end Chinese restaurants usually serve their shrimp in a way that isn't fishy. This was a little too fishy. Pot stickers: Excellent. No complaints here! I wouldn't recommend this place to friends simply based off of the flavor of the food. Sorry New Asian Kitchen, but thank you for your kind employees. read more
