One of the better Chinese food places. Hasn't changed over the years. That hole in the wall place. Will fill you up ,and will satisfy your cravings for Chinese/Asian food... Have only ordered delivery, multiple times, but this is an outstanding restaurant. First thought they were a little high priced but you get a LOT of food for the money. A lot of food! The time they gave for delivery was always longer than the actual delivery. Every delivery person was nice and brought hot food. This is now our go to Asian restaurant. Not a smart idea for the owners to have their minor daughter who looks like she can't be older than 14, turn customers away at the door, while simultaneously being so rude about it for no reason. When we came in, we were asked if we were placing a to go order. We said we wanted to dine in. "Well we don't have any tables." She said so rudely. Ok? So we will wait then. We then asked how long she thinks the wait is, and she said "When one of the tables leaves." Is she ok? Genuinely asking. There was absolutely no need for her attitude. She then said we can place a to go order, but she can't seat us. I have never in my life been denied service just because it was busy, every single restaurant will let you know the wait time, even if it's long. It was clear we were unwelcome here, so we gladly left. Get this minor child off the restaurant floor if you want your business to survive. There is nowhere safe from inflation and it was very noticeable here. What used to be a very affordable place to get family meals on a fairly regular basis has turned to be once in a great blue moon. One of my favorite dishes to order, the Mongolian beef, was way saltier than I remembered. I felt like I could drink all of the Colorado River dry and still not be quenched of my thirst. There has not been anything that I've eaten in my life that has made me so thirsty. With this and the overall total cost of our order made me disappointed. Their delivery service has scaled way back than when I first reviewed years ago. They used to be available all day, then some years later scaled back to afternoons (1pm onwards), then more years later now to evenings (4pm onwards). I suppose I should be grateful that they haven't eliminated delivery altogether, and I am. I am open to ordering again when I have another craving for Chinese food come up. 8/24/24: running an errand in this part of town and got hungry. Since I had a craving for crab puffs, we found New Asian Kitchen. Plenty of parking, service was polite and quick, a delicious drink place a couple doors down, and easy access to the freeway. Their bathroom was a little sketchy, though. I felt like I was walking down a short, unsafe alley in Brooklyn. New Asian Kitchen was good, but despite the odd flavor in my sesame beef dish, everything else was delicious: crab puffs (we even ordered a second dish to take home!), egg drop soup, and the mushroom chicken. The sesame beef was not horrible but there was an odd taste I could not identify at first. I only had a few bites anyway because we scarfed down the crab puffs and practically licked out the bowl of the soup. LOL! My sister's mushroom chicken was way better tasting than my beef dish, nothing odd with hers. When I tried to eat my leftover sesame beef later for dinner, I concluded the odd flavor taste was fish. I do not like seafood at all. My sister's sense of smell sucks and she was unwilling to try a bite, but I am positive the odd taste was from fish. I can only think it was there because they cooked the beef in the same pan as fish...? New Asian is not in our neighborhood so not sure we would stop in again. If it's more local to you, though, I would give it a go -- just beware the sesame beef. Unless you like fish flavors, then go for it. read more

This is a great old style family run Asian Kitchen. Everything the three of us tried was very good and tasty. Some similarities between certain items, like Orange and Sesame Chicken. But otherwise, the sauces were very good. We would recommend the shredded Mongolian Beef and Onions, along with the above chicken dishes, Dumplings, Egg Drop Soup, Fried Rice and Lo Mein. This is our favorite Chinese spot. The portions are HUGE, even with the lunch specials. I'm not a fan of the egg rolls, but my husband loves their crab puffs and the fried wontons are also excellent. Service is great for such a busy establishment. I love that there is free delivery if you live in their area, and I especially love that this hidden gem is not on DoorDash or UberEats, which would drive up their costs significantly. Great food. I've consistently found service here to be super efficient. I've only been at lunch time with my parents. I enjoyed their pot stickers as an appetizer. My dad loves their wor wonton soup. They have a large variety of lunch specials. Their chicken and broccoli is probably one of the best I've had in Phoenix. Tried two dishes here (to go). I did enjoy the Yui Shan Eggplant. This is one of the few places near me that offers it, so big plus. Their portion lasted me through 3 meals. I will definitely be ordering that again. However, the second item I got was the pork lo mein. The noodles felt too soft...maybe overcooked? This restaurant is right next to the Daily donuts and wings which is another yummy place I've reviewed. I got some crap house if you're really nice and crispy and had a very generous amount of cream cheese inside. My main dish was teriyaki chicken on a bed of cabbage and white rice which was well cooked cabbage was nice and crispy the rice was steamed perfectly. This is a really great place to walk up so you don't have the weight service and you can get your your food nice and quick and the service staff are very friendly. First time tonight, we were tired didn't feel like cooking really didn't want to eat in a restaurant so we decided take out, we both got their dinner special, which included chicken lo mein fried rice crab puffs, and an egg roll and I have to say pretty good... Theportions were large ... I had beef and broccoli. The beef was well cooked. The broccoli was not overcooked the egg roll and crab puffs were very good in fact everything was above average and probably one of the better Chinese places in this part of town we also had the Mongolian beef, which had a very nice heat, again the beef was cooked very well not tough and chewy vegetables were nice and well cooked not overcooked.. I had no choice but to give this place a five star rating. The young lady that brought our food to us was very polite The inside of the restaurant was small, but very clean and the prices were very competitive I would even say reasonable.
