I ordered their sweet and sour chicken for lunch, and it came out with complimentary egg drop or hot and sour soup (I had the egg drop, and it was so-so), "fried rice" (I didn't see any egg or vegetables in it), and a crab/cream cheese wonton. The portion size and bang for your buck were great, but the food itself left a lot to be desired. The interior of this restaurant is also very basic with minimal decor, and it's located in a small strip mall. My husband and I have been looking for Chinese food since we moved here from Springfield, MO and have been severely disappointed. One year later, we decided to give New Asian Kitchen a try and it was phenomenal. We got the sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken. Throughout the entire process of ordering to delivery, we were treated with phenomenal customer service. The portions were huge for the prices we paid and they offered us an extra egg roll since my food allergies prevent me from eating crab puffs. I will be back and I will be back frequently! They recently redid their menu and added a whole bunch of new items, they also raised their prices a bit, but it's totally worth it. I've tried tons of different things from this place, to make a small list: Pot Stickers BBQ Pork Beef Chow Fun (KILLER!) Chicken Corn Soup (really good) Egg Drop Soup House Wor Wonton Soup (I'm pretty sure this is the one that had gigantor shrimp in it, which is great if you love shrimp, unfortunately I'm anti seafood) Beef With Broccoli General Tso's Chicken Sweet & Sour Chicken Lemon Chicken (yummy!) Twice cooked chicken (meh...) Sesame Chicken (one of my favs, has a honey-ish perfect sauce) Pork Lo Mein ...and on and on Like I said, I've never really been disappointed, and for the money it's a lot of food. Since moving out to the area 2 years ago, I've been looking for a good Chinese place. I'm happy to say that I've finally found it. Not only are the portions and prices good, but they deliver (which is great for a lazy person like me)!! My roommate and I have been getting food from here at least once every week because it's just too damn good. You can't go wrong with the beef lo mein or the combo lo mein. In terms of other dishes, our favorites are General Tso's Chicken and the Szechuan Chicken. The Kung Pao is also good, but I'd be more inclined to recommend it if they gave more chicken and less of the vegetables. Overall, I highly recommend this place. I used to think this place was 5 star, but tonight my experience with carry-out service changed that. All was well placing the order and when I went to pick up food while their was a line no worries it's a busy Friday night. Sadly though as I waited in line I looked back in the kitchen and observed elderly gentleman rubbing his nose then continue on working. My hope was that he was just mopping and sweep up work as he was not standing directly in the food prep area. My food had already been packed and ready to go so I didn't say anything as the restaurant was full and to this point my food and service has been 4-5 stars. Continuing on I get home and proceed to serve food to family only to discover one of main dishes was incorrect. I return to restaurant and nicely speak with cashier and they proceed to make correct dish. As I'm waiting i look in the kitchen and observe a different staff member that was scooping white rice into the carry-out containers rub his nose with fingers then continue on working and to top it off when rice got on his contaminated hand and he flicked into the container of rice he was in the process of closing. One time is a fluke or mistake, but multiple occurrences in the same night by different employees is a strong indicator food handling guide lines are not being followed in this kitchen. read more

I order from them during work with a bunch of people. They always come pretty quickly even with the vast amount that we order. I ordered from home a few times and they said 30-45 and get here way faster than that. Their portions could be a little bit bigger on some of the entrees for the price, which is why I knocked off a star, but if you order fried rice or lo mien, great portions for the price. Their lunch specials are really awesome too. So if you're looking for great flavor and are craving the buffet Chinese flavoring without going to the buffet, they are great to order from. You need to purchase $15 or more for delivery, but that's easy to do with just an entree and a side, or you can just go and pick it up. Happy eating. read more

We moved from Northern CA 3 years ago and gave every Chinese restaurant in our immediate vicinity a try before we ventured a little further and found New Asian Kitchen. We are now weekly regulars and occasional take-out. The place isn't ornately fancy but - they serve very good food - outstanding and personable service - and so reasonably priced. I don't understand the few negative reviews sprinkled into the high ratings. Do you not communicate with your wait staff if something is not to your liking? Or do you just have a negative outlook?
