When an antique floor lamp that belonged to my grandma had its glass shade broken by our movers, they had a perfect replacement for it. He came out SO quickly…read more I feel like I can finally say "I have an electrician now" cause he was so quick, efficient, kind, reasonably priced, and did such great work, I will 100% be using him in the future. I mean... he deserves every single 5 star review he has on here. Not only did he fix my electrical issue, I had him take a look at something else while he was here and he didn't charge me for that. I literally can't say enough good things about him. Not only did he fix all my electrical issues, he reattached a vaccum holder to the wall that we had to remove for him to get through the wall. He literally did not have to do that at all. He just went above and beyond. Extra mile. I'm SO SO glad that I found him on Yelp. Believe the hype.

Quoted a $69 fee to come out which is waived if you commit to the requested project. Time-Frame given was between 8-10am, Miquel showed up a little after 8 ready to work. Miquel did his inspection and gave me a total quote which included parts, labor & taxes. Clear & transparent on costs which is appreciated. Miquel did the job professionally & quickly, he walked me through the working part to ensure everything was correct. He also ensured that I received the receipt via email before leaving. Miquel also was conscious of cleaning up, and he wore booties over his shoes without being asked. Definitely would recommend Jab & Sons, from scheduling to installation.

He spent about 15 minutes looking at everything. We also had John C Flood give us a quote... He spent over an hour looking at the job, and discovered today there was a code-compliant way to do the job without replacing the whole panel (saving us multiple thousands of dollars), and that an HVAC panel removal would be required to do the job (which JAB had not seemed to notice). We hired John C Flood, so I don't know for sure--maybe JAB would have done a good job, but I certainly got the sense that they were a lot less thorough.

I already had 2 switches on the wall already and unfortunately the wall cavity was very tight to add a 3rd horizontally. Luckily they had a solution to keep my current setup and still add the switch. They even added a switch with a night light which was a nice touch and the light only turns on if the lights are off. I also needed a fan box replaced as the old ,probably original 1950s box was not attached properly anymore to the joists. Unfortunately they had to cut into the drywall due to the lack of space available but understandable. Price for the job was reasonable and completed within the day. Asked and received a invoice so that I can properly make the tax deduction later for improvements. Super responsive. Highly recommend.

Overall, I had a very positive experience with G Electric. They were professional, did quality work, and delivered what I was looking for.
