After some initial miscommunications about the job, things didn't quite turn out the way I hoped, but Luis, the company owner came out himself to make sure things were resolved. And even though the scope of the project increased, he insisted on completing the job at the original rate (although I'm not going to let him, because the scope had increased substantially, and that is clearly my own doing). When working with someone new, it's always a toss up on how things will go when unexpected difficulties arise, and I'm very pleased in how Luis does business. Six-stars! UPDATE: the job is done and we are awaiting inspection this week. The pictures speak for themselves. We are extremely satisfied with our Tesla Wall connector Gen 3 installation. Luis went up and over our garage with EMT to get to the nearby panel. He had to upgrade a breaker to a double pole 60A breaker and also had to update the breaker that goes to the subpanel in the main panel to 100A. Tesla had sent us a bad wall connector the first time around and advised us remotely that the electrical work done was perfect and that all power levels were as expected. Luis insisted on coming out himself anyhow to double check everything even though I assured him it was Teslas wall connector. Sure enough the wiring was perfect and when the new wall connector arrived I popped it on and everything worked like magic.

Then, upon realizing there was no power to the light switch, the technician just left my old wires exposed after removing the old outdoor light fixture. Just moved in, so I wasn't sure what was going on with that switch. So I asked if he could fix it, while he was here. His response was "he had to call his boss to get an estimate and that it had to be done another day because it was too late." At this point the technician offered to install the Blink Video Doorbell for $100. I guess in his mind, it was half the work, so half the price... Again, I was given an estimate in person, the day before for installation of both. The Video Doorbell is maybe 1/8th of an inch off center. He did a decent enough job. For $100 to drill two holes, I would've liked it dead center. Then the next morning I received an email with an estimate for $525, to fix the power and install the floodlight.

I've used them for small personal projects in the past but this time I brought them in to do larger work including a 200 amp heavy up and adding a dedicated circuit for a new stove. They knocked it out of the park! When our home was inspected for purchase 12 years ago, the inspector mentioned that our panel could be a concern. It took me this long to address it. A few months ago Dale performed panel maintenance and helped me understand so much about the power in my home that I decided to have Wilcox come back to do a 200 amp heavy up. Jermaine and Daniel did that work and did a fantastic job. I am so happy with the outcome. Lastly, Nick W came out and installed a dedicated circuit to install a new stove and did a wonderful job. Since I'm a curious customer who asks a lot of questions, he showed me all the components inside the panel and explained what they did. I hired this company for a heavy up and they moved my existing location to my roof blocking the reinstallation of a gutter. This was after failing inspection on their initial installation causing three trips to my house and days without electricity. Incompetent. Trying to contact them is frustrating. The entire company runs through someone working from home who then has to contact someone else to get any answers. Unorganized. They told me Pepco told them to block my gutters which is just a blatant lie. If they told you to put it where the old one was (like they claim) that would not be blocking a gutter. They lied and told me they have a photo of the old one being on the roof. They literally left the old one up. Photo attached. Dishonest. I gave them three attempts to do the inital job correctly and now they lie and throw their hands up leaving me with an $1100 problem after spending over $4k. Overpriced. Incompetent. Unorganized.
